That's correct. The chat doesn't show on mobile because it doesn't function well on mobile (gets all jumbled). When you say you're switching from Desktop to Mobile are you clicking a link?
-
hmm everything works in my Keynote software (which allows me to emulate different devices) but I'll see if I can't get a hold of an iPad and replicate the issue. In theory though, if it works well on Mobile it should work the same on your iPad as it's the same site. Basically if you're on a desktop for example and you take your browser window and slide the window from left to right you can watch the site dynamically adjust. (You can actually view the site in "mobile" mode by simply shrinking your desktop window or any window for that matter) At any rate I'll see if I can test it and report back. In the mean time if anyone else comes across this post that has an iPad feel free to comment

That's ridiculous,. That's just ridiculous. I've occasionally run into a racist remark from a couple of oder folks (I had to do a double take because I was caught so off guard) but that fact it's still going strong is just ignorant. I remember someone walking up to my SO and saying straight up (at Chuck E Cheese) "what, your people aren't good enough for your" It was so blatant my mouth literally fell open. Until that moment I didn't even really think of us as an interracial relationship. (You just sort of forget I guess) But afterwards I couldn't help but laugh. I mean it's just so ridiculous you know what I mean. And while I don't agree with some of Obama policies, it's a long shot to genuinely believe he's out to destroy the country. What a crock of ****. He's pushed through some great policies and some others that I sort think "eh?." In general though I wished the focus in this country moved away from the president and more towards congress. I bet half of the people complaining have no idea who their local/state reps are.

I'll start. My fav item under 20 bucks are the little sigma helicopters you can buy on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Syma-S107-S107G-Helicopter-Gyro-/dp/B00F4WMAAW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1436402842&sr=8-1&keywords=helicopter They fly really well, you can adjust the routers while it's in mid air (to stop it from circulation) and it charges via USB. They're pretty durable too.

We've been cruising around asking members for feedback and wonder if the modders would find use in a "Batteries and Chargers" sub forum as I often see questions in here related directly to batteries. Thoughts?

Jeez is it really that bad down there? I know very little about the south other than what is taught in school. As someone who's in an interracial relationship I've always wondered how people would react to it down south these days.

So he's just out of a job now? That's it? There was a big stink about a Mosque being built in our town (it was finally approved). It was trashed a few times which is a sad site to see. Personally I don't care what religion a person practices no matter how weird/odd/strange it is so long as it doesn't infringe on others. More importantly that separation of church and state is always adhered too. I've read stories online about Muslim communities built up that are now pushing for Sharia law, for me personally, that's when the line is drawn. (The same applies to Christians as well) I come from a Christian family but I don't believe laws from any religious text should placed on the masses. At any rate it seems like this officer was put through a great injustice and it's wrong that he was fired on the grounds of his religion. I don't understand why he wasn't awarded anything. If my contracts were ended based on my religion it would be devastating for my family financially.

Back again :-) questions on 808s
Christopher replied to blucavvy's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I never thought I'd hear people talking about 808's after all this time. We keep them in the back of the retail store for old timers that still use the penstyle's. (We don't list them online) but I have chime in say that Arno is an awesome dude with top notch customer service. Glad to see he's still around -
Same. While most of the candidates look pretty bleak, Bernie has some interesting ideas and definitely sides with the day to day worker. But I think similar to Ron Paul the media will likely drown him out with the usual bull and we'll be left with two crappy choices come voting time. As is usually the case. On the flip side Chris Christie, while he's made some questionable decision as New Jersey's mayor really is a ball buster. He's not afraid to call out Teachers, Union or anyone for that matter. I sort like his cut the ******** attitude. But I don't know enough about his track record to lean one way or the other. But I definitely love his debates. But, but we need a woman president! *sarcasm*

Suppliers in non-supplier forums
Christopher replied to Adversarious1's topic in The Vape Lounge - Off Topic Chat
So here's the way it works here. Each group has various sets of permissions. The VT Members and VIP's generally have free rein on the forum with the exception of the staff area. Suppliers have no posting ability on the forum. (A supplier did post today but that's because I missed a permission rule when upgrading the forum this past month, my mistake) Premium Suppliers can post in their own sub forum and also in the classified area. They usually have to pay a small fee per month to do so. This offsets the fact that we'll potentially lose customers to those suppliers. (Which we generally do) If a supplier does spam out of bounds some how or figures out how to game the system, if you report the topic, the staff are usually on it like white on rice At one point in time we actually allowed suppliers to post freely around the forum and for the most part didn't have an issue. Suppliers generally posted genuine content and given their profession often provided good knowledgeable advice. In return for not spamming we allowed suppliers to place a link to their store in their signatures. We got content and they would generally receive clicks to their site through their signature if the members found them helpful. It was a pretty good setup. Especially given that fact that this place runs on the sales through the Vapor Talk store. Because we're one of the larger forums we wanted to allow other suppliers to have a chance. (Morally good. Probably a bad decision business wise) However a few bad apples ruined it for everyone. It became a "yea that product is great, I sell it and love it! See my signature" etc or a supplier would put a banner ad in their signature taking advantage of the fact that signatures could include images. (Thus getting around paying for advertising on the forum) So we did away with it. We also saw a huge drop in sales due to the amount of outbound traffic to 3rd party suppliers. (That's still the case now) There were a few exception though Brian and Compestine. They both started out as regular members, became VIP's and then became suppliers. Because we had a decent relationship with them and knew them well, they got a few grandfather passes and are still able to post on the board. Comp, 99% of the time doesn't promote his store. Everyone knows he has one but generally go to him through his good content rather than him spamming (the way it was supposed to be in the first place) I'd love to open up the forum to suppliers. It's actually beneficial to us in that it provides content, suppliers send their customers to the forum and our members can click on their signatures in return if they like the supplier as a member. Sort of a harmony. But dealing with the spam from suppliers just looking for link juice or cleverly linking to a blog that linked to their store became a pain to moderate. Which sort of sucks for everyone. -
I have to agree with Jeff. When I flew out to New Jersey I was really looking forward to finally try White Castle. It wasn't bad but I don't get what the fuss is about. The burgers are meh and the fries were crap in my opinion. In and Out has them by a long shot.
