The site is growing at a steady rate and we're getting over 40,000 views a month. As such we are constantly improving the way the site functions. If the site slows we will move, if the members need more space we will try our best to get it. I'm sure you have already noticed the lack of SQL errors since our recent server move. Our original server just couldn't handle the traffic. We managed to get the site moved over to the new server and running again in less then 10 hours. Impressive! We are currently using Invision Power Board to manage our forums. We will be moving over to version 3.0 in the next couple of months. The staff and I are running a hidden BETA board that is running quite well. Which is great! So what will the new board feature? (By the way the board change will not be as dramatic as the last change, just a different look and easier use of control panel features, you shouldn't have a hard time adjusting at all it will also take less than an hour at the most to implement the new board) Interface There will be a great focus on usability and streamlining functions. The introduction of a new template engine is something we are very excited about. Search engine friendly URLs will not only make our community more interesting to search engine spiders but allow for more human-friendly linking. The SEO on it's own should bring in a ton of new members. You guys, I'm sure, will be experts by then Control The overhauled BB Code manager will allow forum administrators greater control over how users interact with the community. What does this mean in a nut shell? Easier ways to implement videos. That has been the biggest complaint and we're working on it! Features There will be quite a few new features but, for now, we will save those for our upcoming posts to reveal what's new. A quick sampling: user reputation system and easier video embedding. New posts will also display on the front page. User Blogs and IB Gallery will be something to expect in the future. I have also created a new forum area for members to submit suggestions and feedback to us: http://www.esmoketalk.com/Forums/index.php?showforum=35 Other Notes: If you haven't already seen it, here is our Movie Trailer we just whipped up for our shows. It's more for humor than anything else Don't forget to hit the HQ button to see it in High Quality You can see more of our videos by visiting our new show area: http://www.esmoketalk.com/shows/index.html I will also PM a link to our top posting members for a sneak peak at the new board. See you around on the board!

I may give it a try. What I should have mentioned that the car doesn't really smell like smoke, but rather then air. As soon as I turn on the air conditioner I can smell it coming through the vents.
-
Nope never heard of them. I kinda like their style.
-
Holy hell your not kidding! My car still has a hint of the smell, and I didn't smoke in it! I used to leave my jacket in the car which of course I would smoke in. Over the years (2) it has made the car smell. I was talking to a friend of mine at work who said you can change the interior filter to your air conditioning. (I didn't even know there was one inside) So I'm going to change that and see how well it makes the smoke smell go away.

It's sure can't. I just built a new machine with the same specs, I ran Pong and it was so slow the computer didn't know what to do. Hardware went boom.

Hell yea part at Bittons house. I'll bring the e-juice.

How are things going Crabs? Did you ever get a chance to try out the JC juice?

GAINESVILLE, FL, March 14, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- With the number of people wanting to quit smoking cigarettes, it seems surprising that the Food And Drug Administration and World Health Organization attack one of the best ideas yet: the electronic cigarette. It looks like a cigarette, tastes like a cigarette, and feels like a cigarette, and yet all most contain are less than 20 chemicals in most cases, including mostly nicotine, propylene glycol (used in a number of food products), and water. The e-cigarette works by dissolving nicotine within a cartridge that contains the chemical propylene glycol, which is used to make the smoke in such things as fog machines used at parties. Other uses for this chemical include being put in bakery goods, prepared fruits and vegetables, food coloring, flavor concentrates, sunscreen, hand moisturizers, cosmetics, toothpaste, mouth wash, and even baby wipes. WHO claims that there is not enough evidence that e-cigarettes are a safe alternative to smoking, but where is the evidence supporting that they are not safe? The major chemicals within an e-cigarette are either already on the FDA's GRAS ("generally recognized as safe") list or are already contained in cigarettes themselves. There isn't anything in them more dangerous than the pack of normal cigarettes a person can get at their nearest convenience store and the most important chemical in them, nicotine, isn't listed by any health organization as a carcinogen. Not only that, but nicotine levels in e-cigarettes can be managed in a way similar to both nicotine patches and nicotine gums which are approved for use by the FDA in the United States and in other countries abroad. There are even cartridges that contain no nicotine at all and there are talks about adding cartridges that contain, of all things, vitamins. So, what's not in an e-cigarette? Paint stripper (acetone), lighter fluid (butane), cyanide, ammonia, mercury, the embalming chemical formaldehyde, and not even radioactive Polonium-210... all of which are in the cigarettes produced by big tobacco companies. When being smoked, a cigarette emits 4,000 chemicals... and 69 of them are known to cause cancer. The Australian state of Victoria banned e-cigarettes and other unapproved nicotine delivery systems due to the fact that "nicotine has been linked to cardiovascular disease", according to the Health Minister, Daniel Andrews. As of this writing, normal cigarettes and all of the 4,000 chemicals they emit are still legal for adults in Victoria. There are also currently no statistics to support the claim that the marketing of e-cigarettes would lure in non-smokers to the habit. E-cigarette vendors online, however, are making it clear that these are not to be purchased by minors and typically have a number of health warnings on their sites concerning nicotine, addiction, and pregnancy, so the industry is already attempting to regulate itself outside of the law, much the same way the movie industry regulates itself with its rating system. The sale of nicotine gums or patches are not regulated in the United States and are subject to no minimum age law. If the e-cigarette industry is regulated to the extent of needing a prescription to obtain one, many believe it will cause the e-cigarette to slip out of reach for those desperate to quit or desperate for an alternative to traditional smoking. Even the Mayo Clinic states that even though nicotine is most of what keeps a cigarette smoker hooked, it's the other toxic chemicals in cigarettes that cause the majority of a smoker's health concerns. Can e-cigarettes really be slammed simply because of the chemicals they contain? Is it just a health issue? Considering the amount of chemicals contained in a normal cigarette versus an e-cigarette, shouldn't the FDA be elated that there is such an alternative that both mimics the habit of smoking and reduces the amount of carcinogens the smoker and those around him are inhaling by 100%? http://www.24-7pressrelease.com/press-rele...nsafe-91658.php

Glad to hear it! It's caught my attention as I've been ordering e-cig for Friends and co-workers. I've notice some stop completely and haven't picked up an Analog since, however others have cut down their smoking dramatically...but they still smoke. I wonder what it is that makes some quite and other do 3/4
-
I'm curious who still smokes? Has the e-cig helped you quite or have you just cut down?
-
Oh I thought your batteries died completely(meaning you couldn't use them). 4 hours sounds about right for your NPRO's runtime. If your going to be smoking that much then I'd definitely suggest getting an extra battery. You may also want to look into getting a Penstyle in the future. It's much larger and doesn't have that "cool" look, but the batter life on it is awesome. For those of you unaware make sure your initial charge is about 6-8 hours. (Some say 10 I don't think it's needed) This is important to help maintain the life of the battery.
-
Actually I don't know. I was dripping directly on the atomizer with the Smokeless Delites Penstyle and still didn't get much vapor. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't great either. I think it has to do with the model, my Penstyle from Puresmoker is a Ruyan and the model number is RN4072. (Look at your battery and manual, if it's made by Ruyan the model number will start with N or RN) However looking at Smokeless Delites Penstyle there is no model number on the batter or the manual. Perhaps a wholesaler screwed him with knockoffs When getting an e-cig you always want to look for RN's and DSE's. They are the most well known e-cig's on the market and for the most part have proven themselves.

can't say I've heard of Kyuss, care to elaborate?

Holly crap do you have a story or what Poppa! Glad your healthy! And we're always here for support! (No prescription required )
-
Any chance you may start carrying the liquid? I just don't see the sale of cart being as high is the liquid. Look at Puresmoker and Vaporguys they are ALWAYS selling out of the liquid. I have no doubt you could make some serious sales that way.
-
Yup it sure does! Welcome to the life of vaping When you say you wore down your batteries, what do you mean? How long have you had them. I know they die fairly quickly so I'm curious to know how long you had them.
-
Indeed. Just because you can smoke it inside public areas doesn't mean you should. For example I was reading online someone who said they love the fact that they can some around Disney Land. Although he was correct, you need to move to a discreet area. Especially since children are so impressionable.

needin some help with making cartridges last.....
Christopher replied to cme2580's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Man that is awesome! 199 hu, well that's going down in the Smoketalk facts, from here on out, 50ml=199 carts. It would cost you $160 if you purchased the cartridges individually. -
For those of you that don't know Janty is sort of the High End E-Cig if you will. They are known for constantly improving the way e-cigs work. They just introduced the Dura-C which has manual switch, what's neat about it is they actually have a filter on the battery hole to stop the juice from entering the battery compartment when you dry smoke. As soon as we get some extra Cash flow we'll have to do a review. (That is unless Janty wants to send us a sample kit! )

HI DEF TECC TITAN (Joye510) REVIEW (improved model!)
Christopher replied to igetcha's topic in e Cigarette Reviews
Well either way keep the good work up. What are you using to edit your videos? We use Sony Vegas and Adobe Premier -
Hmmm I havn't heard anything about that at all. Sounds like BS to me. If that was the case then why was he able to post it up in the first place? I havn't sold on ebay in a long time so I'm not an expert but if the money cleared and the auction is closed I don't see any reason why he can't ship it out other than he's actually out of stock. Your best bet would be to contact Ebay, if you don't get anything back from them, screw him file a claim. What's his ID?
