One complaint about the e-cigarette is that they are made in China. According to the Dr Jonathan Whiteson: ...there's no proof that these cigarettes are safe. No proof whatsoever. They are made in China. Meanwhile the The Denver Channel states: The FDA is investigating why stores are selling e-cigarettes and a spokeswoman said they are seizing shipments in customs because most of the products are made in China. (The same article stated that the American Cancer Society was concerned that the e-cigarettes contained nicotine. As opposed to the product they are replacing, which contains Arsenic, Formaldehyde, Ammonia, Acetone, Hydrogen Cyanide, Carbon Monoxide, tens of other carcinogens and thousands of other chemicals - and larger quantities of nicotine per puff!) I don't think I even need to say how ridiculous this is. As one commenter said: "...you report that the FDA is seizing shipments because they are made in China? All of our goods are made in China. That makes no sense." Actually, all is an exaggeration. Head into a Walmart stall in America and only 70% of the goods there are from China or include a China component. (Source: Walmart Watch.) It's actually so difficult to live without something made in China that someone wrote a book about it: A Year Without Made in China. And its not just t-shirts that are made in China - China's pharmecutical industry doubled its exports to the USA between 2002 and 2005. It now dominates the antibiotics field, and has a major share in many vitamins, antibiotics, enzymes and painkillers. But surely these, I can hear you cry, are properly regulated by the US Authorities? No so, according to Mc Clatchy Newspapers: The Chinese and Indian companies are all but exempt from oversight by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. "Only 13 inspections were conducted in China in 2007," Rep. John Dingell, a Michigan Democrat who chairs the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, said at a hearing Nov. 1. "At this rate, it would take the FDA 55 years just to clear this backlog." To argue that the electronic cigarette should be banned purely because it is made in China when much of our medicine is already imported from that country is illogical if not racist. It also points to the lack of more convincing arguments that can be used against it by its detractors. Ultimately the answer is not to ban the electronic cigarette, and remove the alternative to a lethal addiction for millions of smokers, but to push for stricter regulations on all health products imported from abroad. hmmm good to know vacker. I have a feeling Sean just had bad luck. He has yet to tell me if his other atomizer worked better -
Need supplies? Now's the time to do it. Puresmoker.com is back online and fully in stock. He raised the prices of his liquid but not my much only a dollar more. Also Parked as opened his new store http://dietsmokes.com/. He's got quite a selection and he is only selling the best e-cigs. (All the e-cigs that have received high video reviews are on his store) I just ordered some Banana Janty, Parked Spice Cake juice (wonder what that will taste like) and some RY4 liquid which is supposed to be the same as Riskee so I'm going to compare them. I also have couple M401 kits coming in the mail from him as well and we'll be sure to video review them next week.

ha ha yea man pretty funny. The paper clip scene was funny -
In response to smoking bans that are popping up nationwide, a smokeless electronic cigarette became popular last year. But the new product might be in trouble. According to Jane Kenner, one of the product's first purveyors in the U.S. through her Web site ecigsales.com, the electronic cigarettes were never approved by the Food and Drug Administration. Some FDA officials are using this as grounds to declare the product illegal. The electronic cigarettes are not sold in large enough quantities that the FDA considers them an attention-worthy problem, but now there is an unresolved gray area as to their legality that is affecting business, Kenner said. "I am a supplier. Sometimes I will ship a certain number of these electronic cigarettes and the FDA official will send them through," Kenner said. "Sometimes the FDA official will say 'No, they are illegal. Send them back.'" Kenner said the stigma now placed on electronic cigarettes only hurts the smaller retailers. "The bigger companies are able to get special permission to ship their product," Kenner said, "The smaller suppliers who are actually trying to supply a quality product for a fair price are the ones who get cracked over the head." Kenner said the market has crowded to the point that it is possible to get a decent product for a decent price. Pat Callaghan, owner of Jon's Pipe Shop in Champaign, said that his establishment does not sell electronic cigarettes. Although his business does not carry electronic cigarettes, he believes that they are useful because they allow people to smoke inside. "Since there is no secondhand smoke, there is no reason that they can not smoke inside," Callaghan said. The electronic cigarettes are not universally loved.... This could come in very useful especially if juice becomes outlawed in the future. Great work! I'd be interested to know what other flavors they had. -

It's up to $5.65 here in southern Cali -
I just got a message sent from Sean that he is having issues as well. Sorry I've been off the board all day! I didn't set the permission for the VIP group. I'll fix it in about 5 minutes and you should have access. Kind of ironic that VIP group get's blocked from the arcade

Christopher replied to Christopher's topic in Troubleshooting & Technical Issues
Well I would wait until you get a new atomizer before cleaning unless it gets really bad. Usually leaving it in water and then rinsing it really well will make it brand new. (Although it takes quite a few hours before it's working top notch again) -

If that's with the Penstyle then something is really wrong. Sounds like your atomizer is clogged. It should be like sucking air from a straw, if it feels like sucking a milkshake then it's time for a cleaning. If you don't have an extra atomizer laying around and you can't clean the one you have, then take it off and blow from the opposite end (the side the connects to the battery) and give it a good blow out. That will remove quite a bit of build up. -

I didn't realize you already had a Penstyle. Is it not enough vapor for you? I use my passthrough most of the time. (Although the cut off on the pass is VERY short, but you get consistent vapor) -

Yea I know what you mean, I can pound a cig pretty fast. All e-cig have a cutt of time which sucks, BUT you get much more vapor from the Pentsyle than you would the mini, I find it suits me much better. I can't speak for you but I think it's much better. The mini was great, but the vapor sucked and so did the flavor. The penstyle however creats lots of vapor with little work. It's also a much easier draw. Taking slow draws on an e-cig is much better than short hard draws. -

The Penstyle BLOWS the mini out of the water hands down. Vapor is greater and the battery life is longer. As for the batteries they can dud out no matter what model you get -

You are correct I am the king of typos! (to many screens going at one time and typing way to fast) and I mean Cali girls, although....never mind -
ha ha I wont. ALTHOUGH when we move over to the 3.0 system I'm not sure if the arcade will work. IF that's the case, I'll hold of untill it can go with it. I'll be honest though I miss the old arcade it was much better. Maybe I'll look into an arcade thats seprate from the board and all around better. The game selection for this one...sucks.
