  1. Thanks for the update, perhaps blowing it out is the best bet. All these cleaning methods just seems to be 50/50.
  2. That's all correct Kathy, you really only need one battery, BUT if that one dies, and you didn't have another what would you smoke for 2 hours while the other charged? We end up spending large amounts of money not because we need to, but because trying different models is as addicting as smoking the ecig. There is always something new and better coming out. We we all want to be the first to try. You do not have to use the carts as the liquid is much cheaper, however you will get tired of using the same liquid and will want to try another flavor, so trust us, you'll buy more than you need
  3. kathy your posts are cracking me up, I think your going to be a kick butt forum member
  4. The Yeti510 is the same has the Joye510. here is the joy and here is the Penstyle Both are great models, The pensyle has long battery life, the Joye has short battery life. Both create about the same amount of Vapor
  5. Just get the Joye510, the manual switch is easy to use, you push it, take a hit, and let go. Quite easy actually The only issue with that is it's black, they have some styles of the Joye510 that look like cigs, but it's hard to find. Most vapor don't want their ecig to look like a cig, that way they can smoke indoors
  6. Glad that you are enjoying your new DSE (I like the guitar as well, good stuff)
  7. Well and flood the atomizer as well give you a mouthful of none goodness.
  8. Good fine and so true. Keep seeing more and more deniel reports from the FDA on their site. This heat needs to die down already.
  9. Sorry to hear that guys, they have been pulled from the Certified area.
  10. You sound a bit like I was cathy, stick with this, trust me it's easy. I also tried everything from the brain meds to the patch gum etc. None of them worked well. Let us know if you need any pointers (by starting a new topic of course) and we'll be happy to help you
  11. Sounds like those are just crap atomizers. If they are the high bridge with SLB serial number, you may as well just trash them. Everyone I've talked to has had issues.
  12. Damn skill....I let mine sit on my desk just cause a geek's desk isn't complete without a Rubik's cube.
  13. Boiling the atomizer seems to work best, but if you want to stay safe, then just blow it out. As for blocking the hole I do the same thing, it will probably wear the atomizer out faster but at the end of the day, it's going to die in a month or so anyone. Use it in a way that makes vapeing good for you. Also direct inhaling...that will kick your ***! I have a feeling it's just not a good unit. To me the Joye510 and Penstyle's are the only way to go. The DSE isn't bad but I'm just not a fan.
  14. All of my atomizers are low bridge so I couldn't say personally. However my good friend had a couple high bridge atomizers and both of them broke (the bottom detached from the top) The high bridge seemed to create more vapor, but they didn't last long enough to get the burnt taste. It personally wouldn't matter for me as I pop the white part off and dry smoke.
  15. Actually it is considered both a poison and a drug. The problem is, some suppliers where (and still are) selling ecigs as a safer alternative. (Smoking Everywhere for example) Although I'm sure we can all agree that there is enough information out there to prove that ecigs are safer than traditional cigarettes, there have been no official studies done on the ecigs itself here in the United States. So legally they cannot sell it as a safer alliterative. It would take about 5 years in a few billion dollars to make that happen. If they do sell it has a safer alternative, guess what? FDA waves their big wang and say "uh uh, no bueno" and pulls the product.
  16. It's normal for the cart to fit on tight. Also when you take a drag make sure your not blocking the whole on the side of the DSE. Most atomizer take a little bit to break in and really give you that throat kick, make sure your taking long slow easy draws and not short "tough" draws. Ecigs are not like analogs, sucking harder will not get you more vapor. Try taking a long slow draw until the light blinks, let us know how the vapor is after that
  17. The DSE needs to be charged for 4 hours.
  18. Holy crap roll out the red carpet. Jeez. Do you tape a picture of yourself to your dashboard too? Kidding bro good to have you back. And thanks for the shout out, there is still quite a bit of work to be done on the site, but it should be done by the end of this week and most of the erros will be fixed. PAIN in my *** let me tell you...
  19. Yea it's really sad. This is such an important time in life. It's also when long term habits are picked up. I remember when I lived in Scotland the lunch at school was better than the food at home. Plus we where aloud cheesecake for desert once a week which was great. Plus a good 45 minutes AFTER lunch to burn it off outside. Here you have to eat, crap and play in 30 minutes. Then back to class. (It may have changed since I was in school) You know what's even more amazing to me, is when I went to school here in the states our school did some type of deal with Pepsi, we went from having various vending machines to nothing but Pepsi machines. Inside the classrooms it would have something like "do your best and strive" etc and right next to the remark would be a giant Pepsi logo. This was in every single class, and guess what the kids where drinking in class? Yup... Pepsi.
  20. The batteries in the 510 come charged, it turned green because it was charged. If you move it around in the charger you will slightly pull it of it's coil causing the charger to turn red for a second. This is the charger re-reading the battery again, turning green again to let you know it's charged. 2 hours of battery life is normal. The great thing about the 510 is the huge amount of vapor it gives off, the bad is the battery life. Most will attest to this. That's the catch, either high vapor low battery life or low vapor high battery. I choose high vapor. As for the battery in which the light stays on, that is a dud. (although this is the first time I've heard of the 510 battery going dead that fast) Send JD an email over at Truesmoker and I'm sure he'll make it right. He's a good guy and I'm sure he'll be happy to help.
  21. Just curious how many drips do you drop in your 510? I usually drop about 2-3 tops, but I'm starting to get a weird taste. Probably the biggest thing I hate about ecigs is the damn taste that appears after a little while.
  22. Hmm sounds like it could be good. I'm pretty sure China makes it, I just don't think any suppliers carry it.
  23. Bubble gum is such a broad flavor. Do you mean more like bubble yum? Either way I'm not sure of anyone that carries it. Perhaps shoot an email over to Wetyourstick, perhaps he might looking into carrying it. http://www.wetyourstick.com/
  24. American lunch is so terrible. I remember when I first moved to the states from the UK and had lunch for the first time...Horrible. Prison food wasn't even that bad. And they wonder why Americans are fat. Sorry just my little rant http://interestingemailforwards.blogspot.com/2009/05/school-lunch-from-around-world.html
