  1. Holy crap what will they come up with the next. Amazing...and to think she could have just done it in the bedroom. Would have been more fun.
  2. Glad to see ECA is keeping up on current affairs.
  3. ha ha I think they have it in rose smell Could you imagine? Me "yea I'll be right back going on a smoke break" Person "do you think I could bum one" Me "ummmm...." I suppose you really would need an asstray
  4. I read, post, and review so much stuff even I can't keep up with it all. But your right it does sound like they are working something up here, although to be honest I don't think it's the ecig itself the more I read into it. The Accord would make much more sense than the current ecig because it still heavily relies on traditional tobacco product. What I think COULD happen is perhaps the ecig will end up either being banned or put on the back burner, then they will release an "almost" product. Something that is safer and almost as good as the ecig. I'm sure it will get FDA approval in that product will take precedence over ecigs until later in the future. Right now the ecig is a bit like releasing a Pentium 10 when they haven't released 7,8 and 9. But who knows and I suppose only time will tell.
  5. There is nothing better than good humor in a review! (Which I'm sure you all know from Vapor Talk's video reviews) Keep it up, I hope see more of you Noobie review
  6. Oh your going to get brownie points from the staff! George Carlin his my hero.
  7. If your using that much liquid you may want to look into a quite plan, 5ml is A LOT of liquid. Why don't you try using 16mg and see how that works out? You never know you may be able to adjust to the lower nic see if you want work yourself down a little. Whatever you do it's going to cost a lot to vape that much, and if your on a budget your going to hit a point where you just can't afford to purchase more and in that case it may be a good thing. Have you had a look at Ruyan Direct? http://www.ruyandirect.com/ You can purchase 30ml of liquid for $10. (Plus shipping) May be worth looking into.
  8. Just a heads up it looks like we are going to get one of these bad boys for review! Can't wait until it comes in the mail. -Chris
  9. It really is just perfect, throw them out on the market sit back and see what happens. If it fails oh well China, if it does well, time for us to come in. (FYI PM=Phillip Morris for those of you on the board who don't know) Do you have any links to the patents PM has? If not I'll track them down when I get back from work
  10. Although I'm not an expert, I don't think so. She may be getting confused with ethylene glycol which is in battery acid as well as anti freeze. People tend to confuse themselves when they hear "glycol" Keep in mind this was only found in Smoke Everywhere carts on not NJOY carts. I also know that it's not in Dietsmokes, Truesmoker, Vapor Talk's or Nicstix juice either. I've had people tell me PG is in anti freeze, *sigh* It usually not found in antifreeze, but it is found in many vitamines and for that matter Baby Wipes.
  11. A good read and important for people to know. Not to mention the traces of DG that where found was only from one manufacture in China. Although this isn't acceptable, I have no doubt that factory is working to make sure this doesn't happen again. (It's also not clear if it was a 3rd party watering down the liquid) I also know that another major factory (one that we use for our juice) just tested their juice as of late which had NO DG in it whatsoever. I really think this is an isolated issue. (Results will be posted on the store site upon launch date) This whole FDA deal really is a scare tactic. I mean I sat in on the conference call and they really where scraping the bottom of the barrel to find issues with the ecig I'm also going to sticky this thread
  12. Good point Royce I didn't think about that.
  13. Not to mention that DG was only found in a very small amount of carts, of couse none would be better and I'm sure SE is working pretty damn hard to make sure that doesn't happen again, but when you compare the ecig to the analog it's a joke.
  14. Yup! Some of the best ecig salesman are the ecig users...
  15. ha ha ha ha sounds like my weekends. Although It's hard to relax and vape at the bar when EVERYONE is asking "yo bro what is that? Oh yea? Can you put weed in it?"
  16. Looks like someone made a custom battery unit for the Pentsyle, takes AAA batteries! Nice. I like the look too. May have to get me one of these bad boys when I get back from Mexico. Video review anyone? EDIT: I just sent an email in to find out some more information. It looks like a rechargeable battery but how sweet would it be if you could use normal batteries as well. (I don't see why not) There is nothing worse than being on the go, having a dead battery and no charger! Edit: Link to the store: http://www.vaprlife.com/the-vp1-se1.html
  17. IF you get a good model like the 510 which is pretty durable. Your looking at one new atomizer a month (Your old one will still work I personally suggest a new one) plus about 30ml of juice = 30 bucks a month plus shipping and tax. About $40 Plus you can't put a price on your health!
  18. Uh oh into the world of dripping it's all over now! Thick clouds of vapor, and pure vaping madness!
  19. does this mean i pretty much have to do trial and error with various vendors to buy supplies and see if they work with my model? No not at all. Usually (if the supplier has a good store) he/she will list the accessory item under the same category as the model cig your looking at. If not they will normally state what model it works with AND IF THAT doesn't work, post a link here on the forums and we'll help you out That's what we're here for
  20. I think he got it from Ruyan Direct
  21. One cart a day is VERY good. That's about oh I dunno 5-6 drops or so Maybe 8 tops. I myself use about 1ml a day at most. To be honest I don't really keep track. When you move over to liquid you tend to use quite a bit more
  22. That is crazy!!!! I want one! Good god Igetcha, you must have needed some water after that!
  23. So I saw this email and thought I would share it with you. It was sent by "itsthehost" to Micheal Ericksen, ScD, director of the institute of public health at Atlanta's Georgia State University and former director of CDC's office of smoking and health: Good day, I just read an article where you publicly stated "I have seen no evidence that people switch from tobacco cigarettes to e-cigarettes". This statement is purely based on ignorance, or you have just been wrongfully informed. There are countless, even thousands of accounts where people have switched from smoking tobacco products to using tobacco smoke free "Electronic Cigarettes", and I am one of them. My story is, I am a 28yr old male, who has struggled with a drug & alcohol addiction my whole life. I have a severe addictive personality, that knows no boundaries, and tobacco is also appart of that. I also suffer from PTSD, ADHD, and an array of symptoms that go along with these illnesses. Because I used substances more than half my life, most of which I was in the "clinically terminal" stage of addiction, and now have been clean & sober for close to 3yrs, I would say that I have more than enough background and experience to speak on the subject of addiction. That being said, the way I started sobriety was through an addiction treatment facility. I then followed up living in a recovery house, and still follow a twelve step program. In my life experience, to my knowledge there is no accurate, or predictable treatment therapy or cure all solution, for addictions known to modern medical science. This also pertains to tobacco nicotine addiction. For me, the miracle of the twelve step program did for me what medical science could not, it got me clean and sober. The Electronic Cigarette, has done for me what medical science, and the twelve step program could not, I stopped smoking tobacco. To say that there is no evidence of E-Cigarettes helping people stop using tobacco smoking products, is the same as saying there is no known evidence of the twelve step program helping people get clean & sober. Because there is evidence. The people who use these methods are evidence. If you want to measure this evidence, why don't you start, by doing some field work and talk with individuals who used these methods, and count their testomonies. Not everything can be measured, or learn't in a lab. In the twelve step program this is called humillity, but first you have to be "willing" to learn, or teachable. For your Consideration Thank you, Couldn't have said it better. What a great email.
  24. Check out this bad beast! It's called the "ErgoLump" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tah4ej-VIak&feature=player_embedded
  25. She's right it really is an awesome read. I hope your right lacey. To be honest I think the ecigs will stay, one way or another. I figure a couple of things may happen. 1. The FDA will go balls to the walls against ecigs and outlaw them. A few years (maybe 10) down the line we will see them pop up again as an NRT product. 2. This whole thing will boil down and the FDA will turn a blind eye. Everything will be sold online 3. The FDA will allow the sales of ecigs once the QC gets better over in China. Some major company will start mass producing the ecig and small suppliers will have a hard time staying in business. There are quite a few outcomes I could post but I really do think the ecig will stay one way or another, there is far to much money to be made.
