  1. Well they already have a hooka in production (Not sure when it will be out) As for the auto drip feature it's not noob at all, in fact we have been asking for it for a while now. I'm sure once they figure a way, then make it cheap, it will happen.
  2. You get pissed off when someone blows analog smoke your way...
  3. Sending people to our site is always good, and emailing MSBC is great! It really shows effort. I think power by numbers is important, we all know the reason Analogs have not been banned is the amount of backlash that would be felt. I the government loves the taxes, but seriously if they stated tomorrow no more cigarette sales, people would hit the roof. If we can have the same thing happen with ecigs, we're good to go
  4. This might help you out: Also many of us do not fill up the cart. We actually just empty the cotton out of the cart, then drip 2 drops (3 drops if you using the 510) right onto the atomizer. Then vape until the vapor goes low
  5. Although I'm not a doctor it could be a couple of things. First off we've heard quite a few smokers get sick right after they quite smoking and move to ecigs. (Especially heavy smokers) This only happens for a few days and is known as "smokers cold" (I believe that's what they call it) This can happen to a smoker even if they quite cold turkey. Your body is trying to rid of all the built up toxins from over the years. You will also notice your smokers cough get worse before it gets better. Second, PG can sometimes dry out your mouth, so after a vaping session it helps to drink some water afterwards. This is probably the case to be honest, just make sure you keep your throat and mouth hydrated And last if you notice it get worse, see your doctor!
  6. Yea the Cola is pretty tasty stuff!! Never tried it in VG though
  7. You are very welcome! I think she will really like that model, it's also "drip" freindly. The ecig has a manual button which works MUCH better because there is no cut off. Also the battery is sealed so you don't have to worry about the batteries flashing, flickering or juice getting inside. If she really likes the 24mg send me a PM with your address and I'll send you some 24mg Vapor Talk Juice free of charge.
  8. This is actually NOT a RN4082. It looked like it at first, but the reason I can tell is because of the raised atomizer. That is either an M401 or a Joyte306, although I'm leaning towards M401 because I don't see any fibers inside the atomizer like the Joye does. That's actually not a bad model. Not my favorite by any means, but still an ok model.
  9. We're ready The cartridges that you currently have for the Smokeless Delite model will NOT work on the DSE901. Yes more vapor, means more nicotine. The nicotine is delived via Vapor, if you don't have enough vapor your not going to get the nictoine, naturally. As for the whole system thing...Don't think of it like a system that sounds like a sales pitch. Think of it like a car. Some cars work better than others, some are faster, some slower etc. Each ecig is the same way, some have more battery life, some have less. All batteries and charger and atomizers are different, they will not work with each other. Both ship very fast. If you really want my advice this is what I would do... 1. Go to dietsmokes.com 2. Purchase this model: http://www.dietsmokes.com/categories/Joye-510/ 3. Go to their liquid page: http://www.dietsmokes.com/categories/Liquid/ They have many different flavors of liquid. Purchase the 24mg nic content. This will suffice if she smokes a pack of Marlboro reds. I know you really want the DSE model, and I'm not saying it's bad, I'm just saying I think the 510 is a better model. Here is a list of our video reviews: http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/index.php?/forum/70-vapor-talk-electronic-cigarette-reviews/
  10. The member base is how many members are signed up on the forum. Total Members right now are 929. (You can see the stats at the bottom of the index page)
  11. Welcome Jeso Don't forget to take a look at the supplier rules and the forum rules. Other than that it's easy, can't wait to demo the new model! Good to see you on the board
  12. Darn those kids! Make sure the kids know ecigs are a no no. You don't want them getting juice on their hands. The M401 atomizer will NOT work with the DSE901, you need to get a DSE901 atomizer. Also the carts will not work with each other as they are different sizes. Have a look at our supplier list. Also keep in mind the Smokeless Delite charges quite a bit for their products. The little ecig you say looks like a real analog is called a super mini, it can be replaced for about $40-50 (a whole new kit) The model is an RN4082. Although I recommend that if she does purchase a new kit she gets a Joye510 MUCH MUCH better vapor. Dietsmokes.com and Awesomevapor.com both have them in stock. Also the refilll liquid will work fine. Also you don't HAVE to have a syring, you can just drop right into the cart, just make sure you hit the "cotton" area. It's pretty easy to do once you get the hang of it. Although the syring will work better for filling the cart from bottom to top. Just don't poke yourself. (Like I have ) http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/index.php?/forum/20-supplier-list-and-certified-suppliers/ There are no dumb questions, we all had to start learning some how! There are different models, all work different in their own way. If you want something that creates the same amount of "smoke" as an analog cigarette your going to want to look at either the Joye510 or the Joye306. The 306 doesn't create as much vapor, but is very light, the Joye510 creates much more vapor (more vapor better nicotine delivery) but weighs about what her current ecig model weighs. Maybe a little lighter. When first starting it's common to get liquid in your mouth but it's not something you want happening all the time. We've all done it. Tell her not to suck so hard on the ecig. When you smoke an analog you tend to suck harder if you want more smoke, however, on an ecig that doesn't work. The chip unit doesn't care how hard you suck. It's much better to take a longer easy draw. This will give you more vapor. Tell her to take long easy 3-4 second draws. No liquid and more vapor your very welcome! I'm sure you will have more questions so post away brudda!
  13. I hope I make it! I've been looking at Sky Diving death to live ratio's as well as fail videos on Youtube. Really not the best thing to look at, but I just want to be prepared.
  14. First let's talk about the invite system, please help spread the word about Vapor Talk! Perhaps someone you know is interested about the electronic cigarette or needs help using their new device. Send them our way and we'll help them out, the more people become informed about the ecig the better. Power in numbers! How to invite: 1. Click the drop down menu in the upper right of the screen 2. Click "Invite Friends" 3. Send an email and invite your friend! Easy! As always we really appreciate your support. Now the jump out of a plane part... For those of you who don't know I'm scared...no terrified of heights. BUT as some of the older members know I promised (when the forum first started out) I would jump out of a plane if our member base ever hit 3,000. (Dumb idea) I'm already getting butterfly's just typing this message! So how did it start out? Well actually my wife wanted me to skydive and I told her "not a chance in hell" Of course she kept asking and I told her, "well if my member base hits 3,000 and I'll do it" Of couse I didn't actually think the forum would take off like it has... (member base is how many people are signed up on the forum, there are currently 929 members) So our member base has grown pretty quick. To be honest faster than I thought it would, but I'm a man of my word and I still hold true to my promise. IF our member base actually does hit 3,000 I will still parachute from a plane, record it and place it on Youtube. My wife has wanted me to do it forever. so I figure why not bring everyone in on it. Do you guys think it will make my fear worse or better? So if you wanna see me do it...(shudders) Help spread the word, use the invite system, comments welcome Click To Invite Someone: http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/index.php?app=members&module=invite
  15. We're on facebook but the account isn't maintained. That was Sean's job...and of course he hasn't done anything with it. If I get time I'll try and get it all setup and post links here when I'm done.
  16. So I came accross this today and found it a pretty intresting read... THE FALL OF THE AMERICAN EMPIRE Isaac Asimov wrote his Foundation stories to show that every Empire, even the most powerful one, has to fall eventually. Everyone knows that America achieved its' peak power and world influence in the twentieth century. But how much longer is it going to last? It is hard to predict while it is still alive and reasonably well. But, as Asimov observed, there are certain signs that may give early hints that the end is approaching. One of them is a loss of technological knowledge. Couple of years ago I have learned from one of NASA's engineers that the know-how to build the rockets that took people to the Moon was lost. Repeated attempts brought failure after failure in spite of closely following blueprints. I knew that this time the funeral march is being played for the United States of America... I thought that it might be worthwhile to look at other great powers of the past, that were similar to the United States and see how and why did they vanish. Long, long time ago - hundreds of years before America was discovered, there was a huge country in the heart of Europe. It was known as the Republic of Both Nations. Between fifteen and eighteen century Republic was the largest country in Europe - extending from the Baltic Sea all the way across the Continent to the Black Sea. It was very different from its' neighbors. Unlike other kingdoms, ruthlessly ruled by royal despots, it was a democratic monarchy, where personal freedoms were respected and enforced by the law. For over six hundred years it was the safe haven for all people persecuted for religious or political reasons elsewhere. It was the first country in modern Europe to open public libraries, to establish the ministry of education and culture, to assure a freedom of religion and to adopt a modern democratic constitution. Citizens were not only allowed but obliged by the law to revolt against the King/Queen if he/she was not fulfilling his/her duties towards the Nation. Every citizen had a chance to become a King in popular elections. It became the second home for Jews - allowing for flourishment of Jewish culture and science unprecedented in the previous history of the Israel. It is not a science-fiction story. But it would cost you some time and effort to find it in history books - it doesn't belong to the official version of the history taught in the Western World. Republic has been also known as a "Defense Wall of Europe" since all barbarians invading from the East had to face it first. That responsibility started with Mongol invasions in the 12th century and did not end until the demise of the Republic. A good example of how it worked: in 1683 The Ottoman Empire was on the successful quest to conquer Europe. Southern Europe was already in Turkish hands. The Ottoman armies attacked Republic, but after a couple of bloody battles they were forced to back off. Then they looked for an easier target -and they have found one: Austria. Western armies were not a match for the enemy - they have been plagued by the lack of discipline, poor training and a shortage of talented leaders. Outnumbered and demoralized by a string of defeats in the war with Muslims they were not able to stop the progress of the enemy. Ottoman armies reached Vienna. Fall of that city would open the way to the heart of Europe and would mean the end of Christianity and the Western culture as we know it. Austria and other European countries begged Republic for assistance. King Jan III brought his armies to rescue Vienna and was offered the command of united European forces. In a spectacular battle, the coalition defeated the Ottoman armies. To this day one can admire Turkish flags, tents and jewels captured after the battle and donated to the Vatican. Republic's armies didn't return home until Hungary was also freed from Turkish invaders. The death of Republic in eighteen century gave a rise to a huge emigration waves from the whole Continent - there was no place anymore in the Old World to hide from the terror of absolute rule, religious persecution, witch hunts and pogroms... Fortunately a new, democratic country was being born while Republic was dying: the United States of America. And America proudly carried on the legacy of the Old Republic.... at least for a while. Why did the Republic of Both Nations fall? The answer can be found right now and right here: in Washington D.C. It is hard to overlook corruption of the rich, legalized bribery, (nicknamed "lobbying"), demoralization of politicians shamelessly selling American secrets to foreign governments as soon as they resign from their office. Anyone can see growing divisions between poor and rich, white and black, native and alien... as well as growing national debt, inadequacy and incompetence of politicians, loss of influence and power on the world arena, decline in quality of life of an average citizen, social unrest. The list can go on and on... That is only one side of the coin. The Republic had also one important legal flaw, that turned against its' creators. "Liberum veto" - a constitutional amendment that was designed originally to protect democracy and individual freedom. It was supposed to assure that no law could be passed in the parliament unless there is total consensus, i.e. each representative had a power of veto. As a result, there was no laws passed in the last two hundred years ofthe Republic. America has also an equally lethal flaw: the design of the whole justice system. It was initially conceived to facilitate fair and speedy execution of the law. It ended up as a monstrosity allowing criminals to go unpunished, promoting the fall of the health system as well as rise of racism. America is the only place on this planet where one can sue and get sued for anything - and win, irrespectively of the truth, if one has a clever lawyer on his/her side. A new society, based on distrust and greed was born. Where can we escape in search of freedom and justice now? The Old Republic is gone forever, but its' story still lives in a memory of its' descendants. They live dispersed through the ten countries that cover vast areas of the central and eastern Europe. But you might meet one of these proud people right in your own neighborhood. And if you'd like to read more about the spiritual predecessor of America, look it up in history books under Poland and Lithuania.... Taken from: http://www.slawcio.com/republic.html
  17. Dude it does sound sick. I think I just blew my speakers
  18. Twisting would be the correct word. They actually found small trace amounts of Diethylene glycol in the carts from Smoke Everywhere. NJOY however DID NOT contain Diethylene glycol. The FDA however is making it sound like ALL ecigs contain Diethylene glycol which is not the case. SE had a bad batch from a stupid manufacture in China that some how managed to get Diethylene glycol inside the cart. I'd bet good damn money this wont happen again. It's also perfect timing as the FDA is currently being sued by Smoke Everywhere and NJOY. The FDA is using it's PR power to sway that case in their favor IMO. Take a look at this thread and judge for yourself which is better, then analog or the ecig http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/index.php?/topic/981-diethylene-glycol/ You can also listen to the FDA call that started this whole thing... http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/index.php?/topic/970-electronic-cigarettes-conference-call-with-the-fda/
  19. Give me a freakin break.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kblg-GJuYd0&feature=player_embedded
  20. I'm stealing this from ECF because I thought it was funny. You Know You've Been Vaping too Long When... (some of my own) - You try to screw your atomizer on top of the E-juice bottle you just topped off with. - You put the wrong end of the ecig in your mouth - You open your pouch while in public and relize you look like a tweaker - You hold your ecig between your left index and middle finger, the cap to the juice bottle on your left thumb and finger along with the cart while using your right hand to drip on the atomizer without spilling a drop. - You use your sock to wipe off the excess ecig juice around your cart because you don't have a napkin (keep it going)
  21. That sounds about right, especially because the bottom of the cart never seems to drain properly. As for the drops to cigarette ratio I couldn't tell you. Perhaps someone can make a project out of it?
  22. Some really good information on this website. Remember knowledge is power. http://www.tobaccocontrolintegrity.com/index.html From the site...
  23. This is not something I can comment on because I don't cut my own juice. However you may want to take a look at Ritalee76's Youtube Channel. She has quite a few videos about cutting your own juice etc. http://www.youtube.com/user/ritalee76
