  1. Yea I caught that as well. So let me get this straight... you where able to find very small trace amounts of diethylene glycol however you couldn't find the 60% + PG? Way to go Federal Dumb ***'s
  2. Ahh now I think I know what your talking about, if you mean you see liquid coming out of where the atomizer is, OR when you pull the atomizer out the outside is covered in liquid, then this is normal. A good cleaning every so often will keep it in top notch shape. However the flickering your talking about doesn't sound like a connection issue with the atomizer but rather a battery issue. It could be one of two things 1. The battery for whatever reason isn't making a connection (could be an issue although I doubt it) 2. The janty stick needs to be recharged. Unlike most ecigs, the Janty stick will not flash when it's dead (at least the few we have here don't) What it does do however is start to flicker on and off. You push the button and it will turn on for a second then turn off and vapor sucks. You'll know it's dead because normally right when it starts to flicker you will see a red light rather than a blue. Then you set it down and try again it will turn blue for a second, flicker off and may turn red again. (Because there is still a bit of charge left) In other words the stick starts acting like a crack head. Next time it does this switch it out with a charged battery real quick in see if it stops. Or place it on the USB charger for about 10 minutes (you cannot use it as a passthrough if the battery is dead) then try to vape again. If it starts working like normal, you know the problem isn't with the unit, it just needs charged. I've heard this from users before It's actually not really an issue with the VP1 itself. When you start dripping sometimes you can over do it, or the atomizer doesn't feel like working top notch and the liquid will leak out of the air holes on the bottom. (happens to me all the time, there is just no way your going to vape all the liquid out ever time) This also happens with the 510 and just about every ecig model. So it's normal. The Janty stick however is the only model that no matter how much you drip, you don't have to worry about it leaking on your hands. Worst case scenario it will start to like around the mouth piece a bit, but you can just pull out the atty and wipe it down. Hope that helps
  3. Yup that sounds about right! Welcome to the world of vaping
  4. Yea it could be. Maybe you could update in a few weeks. Although your review is on par with some of the other people I have spoken with. Then again there are members who didn't like JC's juice way back when and I loved it. I suppose it just depends on the person. At least you know it's from the states.
  5. They may very well have burnt out the atty. Once that thing get's dry it's pretty much over. (Although you could drip back in it until the burnt taste goes away) When I used to fill carts I think I got about 8 drips or so. It's been a while though
  6. Probably one of the most entertaining reviews I"ve ever seen, and I've seen a lot of reviews. It's a shame really JC just changed their flavors and it was supposed to be stronger, I guess they still don't have it down. I'll have to order some one day. But with some of the negative reviews I'm in no rush. Keep up the good work
  7. Yea the 24mg is very strong, makes me sleepy sometimes as well.
  8. Never tried, although I'm sure I could get Sean to do it Could bring a whole new set of flavors, not sure how good it is for the atomizer though.
  9. Dumb article. And ironic to be honest. So it's not really that the worrying is what kills you it's the smoking, so now that we're all ecig users does that still count? I doubt it. It doesn't take a genius these days to know Tobacco kills regardless of why you use it.
  10. It could be that fibers are on the atomizer, I doubt it's burning more cart fiber than other atomiser as they all pretty much work the same. Have you tried taking a look into the atomizer to make sure no fibers are sticking out? As for the VP1 although I love the unit, I still prefer the Janty Stick for on the go. Mostly because it doesn't leak all over the place. How do you know the liquid got into the battery compartment? Does your battery have liquid on it?
  11. The Dr.Pepper isn't great, but the peach will grow on you if you use it for a little while. It's a nice easy vape.
  12. As an admin I shouldn't say this, but I was thinking the exact same thing. All I saw was "girl, cherry , pop and an avatar" Man I love the site. lol But seriously let us know how it goes for you! (the vape I mean )
  13. Hmmm VERY interesting indeed! I wonder how well it works? Will we still get the same effect? Is it just as safe? Time for research I suppose. And of course how will the FDA react to this.
  14. I don't think it's in the actual newspaper, but I have no probelm with VT being mentioned at all. The more people find the website the more people will learn. I'd also like to say this is turning out to be a great thread with awesome information and views. Karate you make some very valid points and I can't agree more. The contradiction level at the FDA is insane. Has anyone noticed the amount of energy drinks kids are pounding away? Does anyone realize how much Caffeine is in those things? Around 160mg and these kids purchase about 2-3 cans a day. insane.
  15. 61 posts in one month plus humor...your already on your way
  16. Yea I wouldn't drop them in any more water As for the charge to be honest I don't see why it matters. I leave my batteries in for 4 hours when I first charge them, then I just use them as normal. I have my original 510 batteries that are going 12 weeks strong. I'm glad you like the Dulcis! It gets better with time too, the juice will start to thicken. Yum! You can find empy 510 carts here: http://www.dietsmokes.com/products/Joye510-Empty-Cartridges-Pack-of-5.html
  17. No I left the Leer in the hanger this time around. I we didn't actually fly as the port is only about a 45 minute drive from my house. I was a little nervous going through customs on the way back but I didn't have any issues at all. When it goes through the xray machine it looks a bit like a cell phone
  18. Hmm good question, both have their positives and negatives. It's to bad ecigs cant be filed under the same laws as vitamins and weight loss pills, at least until enough testing is done to prove that they are safe. The problem is people associated the electronic cigarette...with cigarettes. It's been drilled into people brains for so long that cigarettes are bad, that they just can fathom that anything that looks like an analog can be better for you. To be honest I even IF the ecig proves 100% safe, or even 99.9% we'd still have issues. It's going to take time before people will accept them. To most people, anything that involves smoke/vapor coming out of a persons mouth = bad. Thanks Lacy for you input, it's very much appreciated.
  19. Understood I felt the same way. Well I think you will be happy with the 510. The 401 batteries are notorious for being a little crazy. They are chipped batteries and don't work quite the same way the DSE's and RN's work. There is an article about them some place. The air sensor in side is different from most ecigs which is why they are so touchy. There where times my 401 battery would turn on just because it was windy outside, but then I'd try to take a draw and nothing. Figures.
  20. Have you tried drawing off the battery without the atty? If you still have the same issue then you know for sure it's the battery. I would talk to JD and see what he says. That's one of the reasons we no longer use the auto batteries, the failure rate is just to high. Also if dripping is going to become your normal thing (which it is for most) I actually recommend the Janty Stick over the 510. Although the 510 creates clouds of vapor, one of the common issues is liquid leaking out of the atomizer holes. Which of course gets all over your hand. It's not a huge deal but can get annoying when your on the go. With the Janty Stick however I've never had it leak, it was great on my trip to Cabo, I didn't have to worry about juice getting all over my hand etc. Just some food for thought
  21. How's the SE - NJOY suite going? I try to keep up on it over on ECF but we don't get much info over here. I'd love for Sun to sign up! Perhaps you can give them mebers a quick run down Lacy?
  22. Wow Vapor Talk made it in the news! Awesome. Although it's an unfortunate article I hope that more people will find the forums so that we can better educate new users and media for that matter. Power by numbers. Things are however, really starting to look grim. I think it's sad that some of the senators cannot open their minds and see the potential that vaporizers have. I agree that safety tests need to be done, but I think we can all agree that given the studies and knowledge we already have, ecigs are no where near the danger level that an analog is. People are already reporting a healthier lifestyle from persons in their 20's up to their late 80's and 90's. I get emails everyday thanking me for helping them out or introducing them to the ecig and how much better it's made their lives. Suppliers also experience this often. But hey no big deal, if everyone get's back on analogs and the ecig is banned, it's just another 400,000 lives right? This is a rescission and we need those taxes...
  23. Well I think it may be a good idea to purchase some new attys anyway. It's funny I have about 20 penstyle attys here, and one day I placed an RN model in the Janty stick (which normally works fine) and that sucker lit up like a candle, I was like "holy crap" I'll have to take some video as it still does it. I just stopped using it and went to another atty. But hey if it's working great! Glad you got it all sorted out.
  24. Yea I could see cherry working. Pretty much any fruit based juice works well.
