Who Wants To Be On The Store Page?
Christopher replied to Christopher's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Just ignore the description in the unflavored area, that was for testing. Of course there will be higher MG for mixing liquid All the grammatical errors will be fixed be the store lunch. Still quite a bit to do. Setting up shipping methods and costs in the system at the moment. And yea VT Midnight is really good. Glad you liked the sneak people -
Who Wants To Be On The Store Page?
Christopher replied to Christopher's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Cool In fact you know what just to make the other members jealous, would you like me to give you temp access to the store? I figure if your on at 3am with me that's good enough to check out a quick peek of the store. PM me. (Just remember it's in it's BETA stage) -
So I've really been cracking on the Vapor Talk store this week. One of the features on the store is embedded videos. I have a few on the store already but I'm looking for more. If you like your face being on Youtube then create a video and send me the link. I'll choose a few videos to post permanently on the Vapor Talk Store. We will also have a written review section as well so if your not great with the camera we have a place for you to!

Fda Warns On Circumventing Flavored-Cigarette Ban
Christopher replied to BirdDog's topic in General Vape News
I have a very strong opinion when it comes to Government although I try to shut my mouth when on the forum. (More to keep things stable) I remember I created a post a while back (which I removed) about a video that I saw. In fact let me just post the video... This video got me so heated my wife thought I was going to crack. Now you can see the video starts out by "I pledge" pledge to help others. Which is amazing and awesome. It's how we should be, how it should always be. BUT then the end of the video is what catches my attention "I pledge to serve our president, I pledge to serve Obama" Whoa what did you say? Are you KIDDING me? First it shouldn't take a president for you not to be such an ***, or to take care of the Earth. Your lazy *** should do it to give your children and other children a chance to live a life you are so lucky to have lived in the first place. One of the actors kisses his arms saying "I pledge to serve Barack Obama" what is that a threat? Bring it you tattooed little prick. Then what REALLY gets me going is the very end "I pledge to be a servant to Obama" Man, that is beyond scary. You should never EVER pledge to be a servant to anyone, ESPECIALLY NOT ONE PERSON OR ONE MAN. Amazing. You serve to protect this country and the United States. You show respect to the president. You sure as hell don't serve him. He SERVES YOU. People have to stop seeing the Government as them and start seeing the Government as us. You know what I pledge? I pledge allegiance to THESE UNITED STATES and to the Republic, for which it stands, one nation under god, indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all. You have to remember there is a HUGE difference between pledging to help someone accomplish something and pledging to be a servant to them. This video should never be shown to any child, these are people that our kids look up to. At a very young age they are susceptible to things like "serve the president" It would be nice if these actors would take a moment to read the Constitution instead of their scripts. Good God. When an opponent declares, "I will not come over to your side," I calmly say, "Your child belongs to us already. . . . What are you? You will pass on. Your descendants, however, now stand in the new camp. In a short time they will know nothing else but this new community." Adolf Hitler (1889 - 1945) -
Everyone is different but I use about 10ml a week.

It would depends on the passthrough that you are using. Sometimes the passthrough threads are different from the ecig models themselves.

Got A Neat Idea For A New Battery Mod
Christopher replied to bzeisman's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Damn now that's customer service. Oh how we bow to the VP one master -
Sounds like it's time to change your carts and get some new ones. They where not designed to be used that long. When I do use carts ,which is rare, I normally only use them 2-3 days at most then throw it out.

Break in period for which atty? If your talking about the 801 then yes there is quite a long break in period, takes a few hours to get it really going. The 510 atty however should be working full speed after about 1 hour or so.
-
No not anymore. I purchase a new atty once a month. Well actually I shouldn't say that, I USE a new atty once a month or every 3 weeks depending on how well it's working. It's just better that way. I have quite a few here although I get all my attys from Arno at Awesomevapor. I don't use the 510 as much anymore since getting the VP unit
-
Chris if the atty gets to hot on the 901 it will blink and shut the unit off until the atty cools down. It's a safety feature. (Although didn't know the new versions still did it) That's just how the 2nd generation units are. Although I'm sure some 901 users can shed some more light on this. Does it do it no matter what battery you are using? How long does it take before the unit starts to blink? I also spoke with Parker and he said he has answered your emails quickly (IE the shipping emails you sent) I let him know about the batteries and he should be contacting you tomorrow. I also informed him if your order number.

You know there was a bad batch of attys out there for a while. They all tasted bad, I got about 6 from dietsmokes that all tasted "weird." I think it's an issue with Joye but I'm not 100% sure. I've had quite a few emails as of late will people saying the exact same thing. I've heard everything from primer taste to metallic. To be honest I'm not sure what to say, perhaps the Joye 510 has become so damn popular that Joye in China has lowered their quality standards. I hate seeing people waste money especially with how much this stuff costs.
-
Couple things, first Parker tends to take a little while to answer. He's one of the biggest ecig suppliers and people send him about 400 emails a day. I know that's no excuse but he will get back to you. If you want I'll give him a call and see if I can get him on the forums. As for the blinking battery lights, you need to be more specific. They just blink all the time? Are you sure it's not because your hitting the cut off? You have to remember the 510 like what we use in the videos does not have a cut off. However the 901 does, so after about 5 seconds it will start blinking. It was a safety feature china decided to add. EDIT: As Vegas stated you will have to fill out the warranty from see he knows there is an issue: http://www.dietsmokes.com/pages/Warranty-And-Returns.html

I'll be honest not really. When I first quit, yea I missed the smell. Someone would walk by smoking a Marlboro light and I thought, hmmm. But it's been so long now that the smell doesn't smell like it used to. In fact to me it smells like utter crap. Keep in mind this took quite a while, we're talking a few months here before I finally started to hate the smell.

Yea I pretty much vape all the time, although my morning vape is the most important vape of the day

Ha ha, that ranks up on the staff's favorite post. It's funny we always like to give mac users a hard time. Royce being the funny guy was at a cigar shop one day talking to a guy about macs. The guy was talking crap on windows telling Royce how great mac was bla bla bla. After humorously shooting down most of the guys statements, the guy finally said, "alright name one thing a PC can do that a mac can't?" Without skipping a beat, Royce looked him in the eye and said "right click" Everyone started laughing and the guy didn't have much else to say.

Yes there will be lower MG. There will also be larger bottles as well. Although not right away.

Well there is a lot more behind that. Couple reasons, one Parker has a HUGE customer base. People trust what Parker sells. Parker tried the Juice, knew it was good and said he would sell it on the site. (Long story short anyway) It was a great way to get the name out. Second is California, getting a license to sell E-Juice, not so easy. In fact it's a down right pain in the ***. Now with the SB400 law about to pass we are putting things on the back burner. If the SB400 bill passes, it's time to speak with the lawyers and find out just what legally I'm aloud to sell being based out of California. My main concern was testing the market to find out just what people wanted, as I get feedback on the flavors that are being released on Diet Smokes it gives me a great idea of what will be in the store. The Vapor Talk Store is being created quietly while you all happily browse the forum There is also merchant account issues, you don't just sign up for a merchant account and starting running people's credit cards. Rather than jump in and start selling juice not knowing what people really want and not knowing where the market was going, I have sat back and watched over the last few months, suppliers have come and gone, companies like Blu have paid immense amounts of money for PR only to start failing the moment they start up. I'm sure they are making great amounts of money but there reputation is slowly dwindling. I want to make sure things are done right. Only selling what I consider to be the best. There was also an issue of backlash from members on forums like ECF, we do video reviews although they are only of ecig units I had to make sure members trusted our opinions a knew we would give honest feedback (like sending members to our competitors) I wanted to make sure everyone on the forum knew that just because we started selling juice didn't mean we where going to start becoming biased. Hence the reason there are still advertisements for other suppliers as well as private forums for them as well. That's the short version of the story anyway (And by the way there is a store for Vapor Talk it's http://www.vaportalkstore.com I just haven't talked about it Only the VIP members have seen screen shots of the store ) Who wants screenshots of the secret store?

Sidesho Or Other E-Cig Similar To Blu?
Christopher replied to Luv2CUSmile's topic in New Vapers Forum
I'm going to be honest I skimmed through this thread, but in short if you don't mind the look the VP kicks butt. As for Blu...not so good, granted I have not tried them myself but I've yet to hear much good about them. The reason your "research" turned up so much about Blu is because of the immense amount of time and money the spend on PR and SEO. You can paint a KIA gold, but it's still a Kia you know? (No offense to KIA or anything) -
JD is a pretty cool guy, shoot him an email and I'm sure he'll try to hook you up.

So how likely are you guys to purchase flavorless liquid? Seems we are going to have quite a few mixers here, may as well carry it I suppose.

Got A Neat Idea For A New Battery Mod
Christopher replied to bzeisman's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Hmmm I'm not sure but I bet it could be done with ease. Throw a couple of wires in there, a battery and your good to go. I'm not an electrician but I'm sure it can't be that hard. You could call it the Bullet. -
Now your thinking I actually use the USB charger for my Janty Stick while on the go.

Good to know and at least they are honest about it! Wonder what the main issue is?
