Throat Hit With 0Mg Nicotine E-Liquid In Dse901
Christopher replied to Alex5's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Yes we will be offering 0mg bottles I've actually had quite a few requests for it. Nothing would make be happier than to see members get off of nicotine! At the moment we're hoping the store will be open in about 4 weeks if not sooner. During that time we will only have about 6 flavors and limited stock while we test the store and make sure everything is a-ok. Once things get rolling I'll be adding a few new flavors as well as 0mg strength and unflavored juice as well for those who want to mix. I'll also look into finding a way to add a "kick" to the 0mg juice. I can see why this would be important. It may take a little time, but I'll work on it -
Yea I've had the same thing happen with KISSBOX attys (which are from Joye by the way) sometimes they work on things sometimes they don't. Same thing with the Janty stick, the kissbox atty work (of course) but the RB atomizer don't. It's a mystery I guess.

Throat Hit With 0Mg Nicotine E-Liquid In Dse901
Christopher replied to Alex5's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Much of the throat kick comes from the nicotine itself. So of course, zero nicotine isn't going to have much throat kick. I suggest if your down to zero you just quit vaping. There is no reason to keep vaping if you have managed to take yourself away from nicotine. -
Yea yea your probably right. As soon as our adserver updates it's software today I'll upload a new one

The attys are made by diffrent manufactures. If your lucky a DSE atomizer will fit on your RN battery. (Which usually it does) but some other factories make their threads just that much bigger or smaller which is just enough so that it won't work with your other parts. We forget that just because they all look the same doesn't mean they are the same. They both work pretty much the same. The 4 hole atty will give in more air, thus causing an easier draw. Some people like a tighter draw. It's all down to preference. Ultimately yea, the atomizer is what creates most of the vapor. But shouldn't all 4 cylinder engines run the same from different car manufactures? The Janty Stick is made in China, sometimes the damn thing works great sometimes it sucks. The VP units and custom mods here in the states, usually have a much much lower failure rate. Especially on movable parts. (IE buttons) The thing is yea they run off the same voltage but for the longest time the batteries coming out of china where just horrible. Now when I say battery I don't actually mean the battery inside the metal housing, I mean the whole batter device as a whole. The chips where not soldered together properly, the sensors where getting screwed up the LED's would flicker, the list goes own. Another important thing you have to keep in mind is ohms. This is something nobody really talks about. Have you ever wondered why a Joye 510 can create so much damn vapor and still be very small? Because it runs at about 3 ohms. Which means it gets very hot very fast. There are many things that go into making an ecig custom or not. All these little things together makes or breaks a unit. Should a Janty and a VP create the same amount of Vapor? Theoretically yes. Realistically? Most of the time no.

I think with that look I'll hire you on the Vapor Talk Store video customer service room, then when someone says "I don't like the juice much" BEHOLD THE LOOK Gitzy has spoken...

Well first suppliers are not just going to tell you where they get their product and they're sure as hell not going to tell you how to go it through customs. Believe me everyone wants to be a supplier. My advice to you would be to save a little more money. You should have at least 100 kits per model you carry. Not to mention atomizers, batteries and extra stock for replacements. (And trust me you will be doing replacements if you have any sort of kick to your name) You have to remember it's not just "selling a few kits online" you need to legally get your business license, TID numbers and any other city permits you may need. I would also advice that you incorporate yourself. In the unlikely event that someone shocks themselves with an ecig charger and decides to sue and you don't have some type of an LLC guess what? There goes your house, cars and anything else the lawyer can grab from you. There's a lot more than meets the eye to becoming a supplier. (It's an incredible amount of work) Get yourself a customs broker as well and I hope your not planning to use PayPal because they WILL shut your account down and your funds can be held up to 6 months. I'm not trying to bust your bubble, I'm just giving you a straight up honest answer. Welcome to the forums

China pretty much copy and pastes instructions created by US suppliers. Way back when, some ignorant suppliers where not aware that Lithium Ion batteries where being used inside of electronic cigarettes, Lithium batteries do not have a "memory" like older generation batteries do. Suppliers didn't know this so they asked china to add "charge for 8 hours." (Some say 4 some say 6, some even say 6 then use for 1 hour and then charge for another 2 hours. wtf, really? I suppose doing a dance would help as well) Many members at the time where having issues with their batteries and suppliers where telling them it was because they needed to be charged fro 8 hours. Some people swore this fixed the bad battery issues when in fact it was just luck, the real problem was the quality control in China sucked. Vapor Talk was one of the first forums to bring this crap to the surface, in fact Royce our moderator had a look at the batteries one day and realized they where Lithium Ion, first thing out of his mouth was "well that explains the supposed bad charger problem, the chargers are not bad, the damn batteries are actually charged" The instructions have still stuck to this day.

I would just like to note that the VP1 contains protected batteries, most custom mods do not. (So long as your using the new Blue batteries that ship the the VP units and not the old gray batteries)
-
Lithium Ion batteries which are used in ecigs are normally 80% charged on arrival. It's a long story as to why those instructions ended up in Ecig Manuals. If the light is green (so long as your charger is working properly) your good to go. Pull it off and vape away

OK the classified section is up and running. It can be found in the Vapor Lounge area on the main page of the forums. If there is a feature you would like please post back here.

What I mean is that if you purchase the 801 VP unit from VaprLife, the 801 atomizer that he sends does not work well. I use a short bridge atomizer from Arno @ awesomevapor.com Works wonders on the VP units

Shift is just a term they used. Meaning that change happens. This video was created for a group of school teacher I believe, then it went viral and a few more videos have been created with updates.
-
This is a very common story but a good one. One thing I like is that after you purchased a bad model, you did a little research. There are a few people that purchase a crappy SE model, then look on the forums, then go purchase an M401. I think to myself, really? The 510 is a great starter model and the VP2 with the right atomizer will put your 510 to shame. (and that's saying something!) Anyway, welcome to the Vapor Talk family, glad to have ya!

Well if you wait for VaprLifes passthrough to come out in about another week or so, it comes with a 5ft cable. You can also pug it into the wall if you can't reach your USB ports. Best of both worlds! By the way welcome to the forum! I love your avatar/picture, you should have a caption over your head that says "Does it looks like I'm joking? Either go and do what I just told you or I'll shove this mic up your..!!!"

I strongly suggest you see your doctor about it. Anytime someone feels a constant "prickly" feeling in their body or what some people call "pins and needles" is usually a sign of interrupted blood flow. Stop by the doc and see what he says. Better to be safe than dead.

Yea this has been talked about in the past, the only problem is setting up a system that would allow for this to happen. "Remembering" when you have 5,000 + customers would be hard to do. Then again I bet I could whip up something and integrate it into the forums. Who knows, maybe in the future

Good lord Moving this to The Lounge...

Alright classified section it is! I thought about creating a whole new area for classified but I think another sub forum will be sufficient for now. I'll get it done sometime by this morning, I just need to finish drinking my morning Tea, I'm not quite awake yet. (What 24 year old wakes up to Tea in the morning, I know)
-
I thought about sub categories but I don't think there would be enough posts. At least not at first but definitely something I will consider. What will be enabled, is auto clean. I'm going to set it so the forum automatically delete posts after X amount of days. That way it's not all junked up with crap that has already been sold.
-
Sure but that would require a whole separate line of juice. It would just be easier to add some glycerin yourself. (There's a few threads about it already)

Yea perhaps we could do some kind of Vapor Talk logo contest?
