  1. You know this is something that is more common than most people would think. I sometimes get PM's about things like this because members don't feel comfortable posting it on the forum, I commend you for being so open about it. Depression is an absolutely horrible feeling. But this has been reported, you have to remember that your brain has become used to certain chemicals coming in for years and now all of a sudden they're gone. Your brain probably doesn't quite know how to react. Now of course if you feel this is something more I suggest you visit your doctor immediately. Everyone is different but you know what helps me if I'm having a downer day? Head over to Playlist.com create a playlist with your favorite tunes then open another browser window/tab and cruise and chat on Vapor Talk. Now I'm not saying we're here to treat depression but we're here to talk to you even if it isn't about electronic cigarettes, sometimes just chatting it up with some friends can take your mind off of things for a while. If you need to vent (without getting crazy) there is always the Vapor Lounge. The nice thing about a forum is we don't know what you look like or where you work or who your friends are. We know you for you and your true personality. So just feel comfortable, If there are days you need to vent, let it out, we'll let you I promise
  2. When it comes to medical questions, most people don't like to reply for fear of a lawsuit. But I'll step in here, it could be that your allergic to VG but I honestly doubt it. The numbing could be from the nicotine itself. Nicotine will numb what it comes in contact with, in example if you've ever accidentally gotten liquid on your lips while vaping, your lips will go numb. This essentially could be the same thing that is happening. I assume your using a higher nicotine strength? Regardless, I would suggest that you move over to another liquid especially since you stated it started once you tried this new brand of liquid. Ditch that brand and your good to go.
  3. Welcome WELCOME! Sit down and have a cup o' coffee. Meet your new family
  4. Arno is probably super busy. He takes care of everyone who orders from him. Heck even I order from Arno sometimes I'll shoot him a message and have him get right back to you
  5. Thanks that means a lot! We have looked into the shirt and will have them made in the near future
  6. Wow, how bad would you feel after this... This is what we like to call, Epic Fail http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w1qDpQYMjqs
  7. The 510 is hands down the best starter model, not only because it's well built, but it has a manual switch. This allows you to use liquid in the future. (Meaning instead of forking out money for carts you can purchase liquid to direct drip) You've picked a great starter model!
  8. No I leave my batteries in for days at a time As with any rechargeable battery you should always try to pull it out when it's charged, but leaving it over night, you'll be fine
  9. So long as the power pack was strong enough I don't see why it wouldn't work on the go. We are actually looking into mobile power for the passthrough
  10. Usually I carry either The Spade or the VP2, an extra atomizer just in case and 2 bottles of juice. Which are the moment are Dulcis and Midnight. :)I also always keep a 510 in my car JUST IN CASE everything else fails. You never know
  11. As everyone else stated 2-3 drops is usually the sweet spot. That should give you about 6 good hits, although your milage will vary
  12. Yup thats right, take a shot and stop smoking. Could this be the end for the ecig? Would you take the shot? Read the store: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/11/16/AR2009111603638.html?hpid=moreheadlines Then let's hear your thoughts...
  13. An entertaining post! I'm glad everything is starting to work out for you. There really are some great suppliers on the board, I"m sure given time you will find the right e liquid for you.
  14. I am an avid animal lover as most are in my family. Our thoughts are with you and your little family member.
  15. There are a couple of things that cause this, one is the old juice left over in the atomizer, I don't know why but when you vape on your atomizer after it's been sitting for a while it can get a little rough. Usually once the atomizer is warmed up this goes away. (Just give your atomizer a couple of "primer" puffs) Another reason is the high nicotine strength. (And most of the reason to be honest) The higher the nicotine the higher the throat kick. As you move to lower nicotine levels the throat kick will calm down. As for VG vs PG it's about the same to be honest I've used both and don't notice that much of a difference although everyone is different. And of course the mac daddy, the atomizer. Sometimes it just needs to kick in. The feeling of vaping is a bit different than smoking and you'll be used to it in no time
  16. Yup getting the juice in your mouth is a pain but it's just part of vaping. Suppliers are actually working on a way to stop this from happening. We'll get there! Your breathing will clear up soon enough and you'll also notice your "allergies" go away. I know when I woke up in the morning I'd be really stuffy thinking it was the fan in my room, nope it was smoking. My wheezing has gone away too, I thought that was my Asthma, nope also the smoking. Welcome to the forums
  17. Yup I thought the exact same thing, welcome to the world of Vaping! And on that note, welcome to the VT Family
  18. Vapor Talk Juice DOES NOT contain Diethelene Glycol. This was found in very small trace amounts to be inside Smoke Everywheres cartridges. This happened right after the FDA did some testing on their E Liquid and some pretty questionable testing at that.
  19. Ultimately yes. The difference between the VP1 and Spade are as follows 1. The Spade is made from Aluminum so it's much much lighter than the VP1. But can still take a beating. 2. The spade is anodized. (The vp1 and vp2 will not be anodized in the future) 3. 510 fitting 4. There is also a super cool spade on the bottom of the unit, but you'll have to get one to see it Hope that helps!
  20. ah ok that makes sense. Once you have your ecig everything will come together. Direct dripping is done right on the atomizer. In other words rather than change out carts or even fill them for that matter, you just drip a couple of drops right onto the atomizer It's easy
  21. Just to get you started here is a quick video I made on Direct Dripping: http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/index.php?/topic/1710-what-is-direct-dripping/
  22. I don't think there are any for the American Market but I believe Ruyan has one for the Asian Stock Market. (No I don't know what it is off hand)
  23. NO NEED TO YELL! Kidding Most atomizers will last about 6 weeks. Some last longer some don't. I always advise everyone to purchase a new atomizer once a month. It's what I've always done to keep my vaping fresh with little hassle.
  24. One day, I would love to have an Andriod app. I currently have a G1 and My Touch.
