Not One, But Two Newbie-Style Questions
Christopher replied to ddavelarsen's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Both. The higher nic content will give you more throat hit. Although to be honest I think 48mg is a little high. That's only my personal opinion though. Second, as with anything you've probably fined tuned your vaping skills. Just the same way you learned to smoke cigarettes you are learning to vape to what appeals to your taste. There are a couple things in play here, first off cartomizers although convenient are not consistent. Second I don't think the heat is what causes the drop in throat hit so much as it's you getting used to the hit after a long vape session. Ever remember not being able to smoke an analog for say a couple of hours, then you finally get a chance to smoke and you got a little light headed? Then there would be other occasions say while drinking, in which you could pound a pack with no problem and definitely have no light feeling, that's because during that particular session, your body become accustomed to what was coming in. Our bodies are incredible machines which can adjust to the most abnormal situations. A simple example would be a construction worker, his/her hands are more likely to build up callus than say a desk job worker. My assumption is when you vape your throat builds up a bit of resistance, then after a break things go back to normal. This would explain harsher throat hit when you vape in the morning. The linings of your throat are very sensitive. -
Conversation With An Fda Employee
Christopher replied to Jeffb's topic in Vaping Legislation & Regulation News
As GBUD said if they outlaw ecigs although you may able to get them from China and although you may actually get everything passed customs I guarantee if they slap some big laws down nobody is going to want to take the risk. Sure there are those that will still do it but will you risk going to jail or paying a $250,000 fine? I think forums and power by numbers really help. The reason the tobacco company has the power it does essentially is because of the amount of people who purchase from them, if we get the same type of numbers behind is in the ecig world, guest what? Ecig lobbyists. And let me tell you, if Vapor Talk every goes Marlboro status, you can bet your *** we'll have Vapor Talk lobbyists -
Well I think this was geared more towards suppliers, but I would be all for some type of member awards.

Your not crazy at all in fact EVERYONE I know that tries Vaping for the first time, especially if I give them a 510 or even better a VP unit they cough. I tell them to pull the vapor into the mouth, hold it for a second then pull it in. I let them know they should be able to breath freely through their nose while taking a slow drag. (Some people try to direct inhale) I then tell him to push out fast just like a cigarette and they are normally golden. It's a bit of a learning curve but once they get passed it, they are normally good to go.

If enough people voted this has some serious potential. We just need to help spread the word about the Vapor Talk Store before we could ever try to submit

I don't remember an order for straight Cappuccino but we look forward to serving him

I've yet to hear this to be honest, the button to me is actually one of the strong points of the VP units. Now if your over filling and juice is dripping down the side of the unit (which I've seen people I know around town do) then of course the button is probably going to stick as any button would. I would take some alcohol pads and give the button a good cleaning. Thing it keep in mind is we all use our VP units A LOT. The Chinese batteries are so crappy we tend to replace them pretty often so of course we're not going to have button issues. I think it would be a good idea to just give the VP some tender loving care and cleaning that baby every so often.

The janty sticks are great when they work well the problem like stated is QC. Sometimes they will either leak or the button will stick a bit. The Janty atomizer is a Joye 302.

Dse801 High Vs Low Bridge Atty's Pros/cons?
Christopher replied to TheGreen's topic in General Vaping Discussion
@Green, The high bridge was designed to have a higher wick so that it would push into the cart effectively pulling more juice. Unfortunately it normally pulls the fiber right out. Second the company that makes the high bridge atomizers just do not do a good job of it. @JM there was a bit of a delay on the atomizers however our shipment finally left today and we should have them in stock hopefully by next week. -
Well I'm sure given enough time the word will spread to even those in AA meetings, I think it would be great to spread the word there and have even more people quit. I'm working on a coffee flavor right now that I have a feeling is going to come out great, the problem is I'm not much of a coffee flavor person. Meaning I don't really like coffee flavored candies or coffee flavored ice cream. So I have to hand it out to other people to see what they think. Once it's closer to complete I'll hand a few bottles out on the forum and see what you guys think

You know how of all the big ecig companies out there I have to say NJOY really isn't all that bad. Now granted they don't see juice so your going to end up paying quite a bit for carts, but as far as their models go I've seen much worse. Something like the 510 is going to create much more vapor than an NPRO every would. (Which by the way is an RN4081)
-
I totally agree with you! The problem is those 5 people are always the worst. I think MAN how can you live life so angry? But it's just the way some people are I suppose.
-
Yea I get this every so often. It's all a matter of perspective. The problem is the anti groups have given smoking such a bad reputation (and well deserved) that people look at nicotine as an issue as well. Rather than associate nicotine with say caffeine they associate it with a cigarette which of course = bad. These of course are the same people usually who down 2 redbulls and a cheeseburger. Then turn around and say "well no body died from drinking an energy drink" It's funny for years people have always said "Jeez it's 200X you would think they'd create a healthy cigarette already" finally we're on that path (although we can't technicality say it's healthy) and the first thing people do is hate on the device. The more things change the more they stay the same, humans are interesting creatures to say the least. As they say haters will be haters.

I believe a few members tried this and it did not work at well. This was also tried over on ECF and the taste was gone as well as a very strong throat hit. I suppose there is nothing to loose in trying it but I don't recommend it.

Either Diet Smokes or Janty USA. Both have great service.

There are now 2 510 versions on the net. Joye is the legit version on SLB is the knockoff. Ask them if it's created by Joye or SLB. Most honest suppliers will tell you.

Wife And Girlfriend Software
Christopher replied to keenan's topic in The Vape Lounge - Off Topic Chat
I found that if you rename SecretaryShortSkirt 3.3 to BusinessTrip 1.5 Wife 1.0 doesn't pick up on application change. Just make sure Business Trip 1.5 is run on a remote system on not on the home drive. MUAH HA HA HA HA Who am I kidding I can't even get passed the firewall. -
Thanks Jeff! For the most part everyone is great and fun to work with, it's just the bad apples...well are really bad.
-
Another thing is that people tend to use the same mouth piece over and over again. Make sure you give it a wipe down with some rubbing alcohol to make sure it's clean, same thing goes for the cap and threading around the bottle.

spoolinst if I was you I would post in his personal forum here: http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/index.php?/forum/117-awesome-vapor/ It's not like Arno not be on top of things so I'm sure there must be something going on. I can assure you he's a good guy and will take care of whatever needs fixed.

You nailed it on the head Keenan. Every time I answer a ticket in the support system, or take a phone call, or answer a PM even though I hate that people use the PM system for store questions (Only because it takes longer) I always try to remember why I started this forum. It was lack of communication with a supplier. That and ego heads on another forum. Customers service is important. But on the flip some of the customers really bring you down. Our juice has only been on the market a few months and let me tell you some people can be down right a-holes. I'm not joking it's insane. It's why some other suppliers get so frustrated when they finally reach your email. It's nothing you've done it's just the other crazy guy person they just dealt with. BUT we take a deep breath on move on! Anyway sorry to get side tracked, I always want to make sure like every other supplier we recommend, that we adhere to high customer service standards. We're not rich people here and we want not only bang for our buck but appreciation for it as well, especially during a recession where money is tough.

They are a longer in length than your current 510 battery. To get technical, the standard 510 battery runs at 180mah however the mega batter runs at 280mah. Intern you get longer charge time on a mega battery. If I can also point out, The Spade actually runs at 360mah. So it's even LONGER than the mega battery, about 5 hours.
