Yup the atomizer is everything at time. Its kinda like blaming the oil when your engine is blown I'm glad everything is working out and that you are enjoying the VT Juice!

Another reason why the cap wasn't anodized black isn't just because we where lazy either it's because it is harder to anodized. The body itself is created out of aluminum to give that light weight feel, but the cap is made out of steel in order to prevent any stripping. Longevity of the unit is more important to me than color.

There is nothing I would recommend to clean up the scratch as the unit is anodized. It just wouldn't look the same. If it bothers you enough to not enjoy the unit then please send it back and I'll replace it for you (Just send me your order number) As for the black caps, I'll look into getting some created and perhaps send them out to the members who request it.

Harder than you would think. Creating a small unit is no problem at all, in fact I could have something ready in a week. The problem is battery life and portability. The market doesn't just want durability but long battery life. The smaller the unit, the lower the battery life will be, period. As for looking sleeker, it's pretty darn sleek compared to many of the mods out there on the market with perhaps the exception of the Ego which is pretty much a spade with a cover on top. As for being detained, your not doing anything wrong, nothing is illegal about using a PV. And if you WHERE obtained I think it would be time to invest in a lawyer.

Smoke detectors on airplanes are more like particle detectors. If you blow vaper into it, it WILL set off. Trust me... I've vaped around a few detectors IE on cruises etc, if you blow the vapor down, you should be fine.

That is AWESOME! Well if he has been using the 510 for that long without an issue, then maybe he is ready for a custom mode. The only problem with custom mods is that it can raise eye brows sometimes. But because he's older I think most people will realize he isn't doing anything shady.

The only time I ever get tired of vaping is when my units are not working like they should be, other than I love to vape. Always. It's probably because you have your fix, then when the fix wears of you want to vape more. Sort of like when we got sick of smoking some days

I almost do the same thing. That way when I come back anything lit up needs looked at It's much faster that way.

Well everyone atomizer is created a little bit different but some of the atomizers actually have to be taken apart to find the air holes. They are behind the ring. Others just have a larger holes on the bottom.

Your right there are the regulars and the lurkers. (And there are LOTS of lurkers) But whatever helps you out is the most important to me not everyone likes to post. I think so far we have some great moderators even though some of them are still in training, running a forum can be a daunting task but we'll have them top notch in no time @Travis there are a few options to keep an eye on new posts 1. Use the "View New Content" link on the top right of the forums 2. On the home page there is a "Recently Added Topics" box just above top posters box which will keep you up to date on what's new 3. You can subscribe to topics in your control panel either instantly or by daily/weekly subscription. 4. If you want to bookmark something for a later read we have a social book marking drop down menu on every post which allows you to save the topic to a number of popular social bookmarking sites. 5. If you only want to watch one particular topic there is a "watch topic" and "watch forum" option on every page. Then on the front page when you login there is a "Watched Content" box towards the bottom of the forum which will help you keep track of everything you are watching. And those are just a few of the features on the forum

There are so many things to that go into the airflow it's hard to explain. With that said, some custom units have a tight draw so the 2 hole atomizers make it hard to take a drag, it's almost like your atomizer is clogged so you can't get a good amount of vapor. Then you switch over to the 4 hole and your golden. It's also a prefrence thing, for example our Admin Royce used to smoke cigars so he prefers a tight draw because that's what he's used to. Hence he gets the 2 hole and doesn't care how hard the draw is. Someone who smokes say a Marl Light is probably used to a very easy draw and wouldn't like the 2 hole on a custom mod. THEN there are mods that do have VERY good airflow and are very strong such as the VP PT in which case sometimes (again this is preference) a 2 hole atomizer might be better. (A 4 hole will just kick your *** on the VP PT, even me)

Glad you like The Spade! It really is a kick butt unit. It uses the Janty Dura atomizer which is a very strong atomizer but does take more time to break in compared to the normal 510 atomizer. Once it breaks in though it really gets going. That atomizer should last you quite a while
