  1. The purpose of the LED is 1. To look cool 2. Mostly, to let you know the unit is working. It also helps us trouble shoot issue should they arrive. Removing the LED will not help the battery life especially because there is only one. It takes VERY little power to operate
  2. Have a read and twitter/blog/digg this article Full read here: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/2477984/legislators_jump_on_electronic_cigarette.html?cat=9
  3. Yes Jeff is correct I forgot to add, one part love
  4. For the most part yes. 3.7 volt units are created not only for better battery life but for consistency. Chinese batteries where crapping out every couple of weeks so finally someone though, meh, I'll create a custom unit that lasts longer. Hence all the mods on the market now. Yes. Higher power mods will heat up the juice much faster so you tend to get less flavor more throat hit. With that said however if the juice is well made then it should handle higher volts with no problem. There is also high voltage juice available on the market now that should withstand the added power. For the most part yes this is correct. Some custom units will create more vapor not because they are more powerful but because the connections are created much better and the overall unit is built with quality. A bit like buying a maglight instead of a cheapo flashlight. They both turn on and they both make light, just the maglight is built to last. Hope that helps
  5. Our liquid (like most e liquid) contains the following TOBACCO ABSOLUTE,BURLEY 14% NATURAL FROM TOBACCO 2 ORIENT TOBACCO ABSOLUTE 12% NATURAL FROM TOBACCO 3 NICOTINE 0.8% 4 2,5-DIMETHYLPYRAZINE 0.1% 5 2-ACETYLPYRAZINE 0.2% 6 LINAL0OL 0.5% 7 VANILLA EXTRACT 4.4% 8 PROPYLENE GLYCOL 68%
  6. You say that the unit turns off when the atomizer is one, that sounds like there is a bad connection somewhere. (At your own risk) I would suggest you take a look at what's called the center pole. If you look on top of the unit (the gold part) you will notice threads on the outside, then inside those threads is a little circle with a hole in the middle. That is the center pole. Take a look at the treads on the outside, you will see an air hole, inside that air hole you should be able to see another hole on the center pole. Take a paper clip and push from the outside hole, into the hole on the center pole. Gently lift/wigle that center pole up till it's level/flush with the threaded part. The circle within a circle if you will, should be the same height. That will ensure the atomizer is getting proper contact.
  7. Ah ok I just don't remember getting the ticket. I'm getting old Our ticket system was acting a little crazy and some of the information wasn't making it through. We had to reinstall the ticket system, but all is well now. Was just wondering
  8. I didn't think your where complaining, I know you guys well enough Just leave it to China to always screw somthing up!
  9. I would give it one more shot bud Don't make a large order, just a few bottles of juice, heck order 1 bottle of juice one day and another the next day. Try to order from the states. (If at first you don't succeed, tell the government to **** off and try again)
  10. Yes The Spade unit is 360mah unit (as stated on the VT store website) There was a mass printing of those batteries with "600 mah" on them. They are not 600mah.
  11. Tracy I can understand your frustration of having a broken unit. But there are couple of things to note here. First it looks like quite a few units where exchanged back and forth, I'm surprised at how many times the unit was broken. But it does show the from what I can tell, Vaprlife was trying to do their best to accommodate your needs. They are extremely well made units and very durable. Regardless, I can understand why Vaprlife might want the unit returned. If a person damaged a car the dealer would fix it, however it's unlikely they would out right give you a new car especially if the old one was lost. I know I personally wouldn't send a unit out of my store until the original was sent back first. I think the best route would be to try and find the receipt. Then work with the post office and find out if there is anything they can do to track down the item. It's Christmas time and it's not uncommon for packages to be delayed or lost. I hope everything works out! (Did you insure the item?)
  12. I'm talking about the VP passthrough. There is also the Puresmoker passthrough as well. (puresmoker.com) Both are 5 volt unit. Of course keep in mind these need to be used at home and cannot be taken on the go, but I think (with a penstyle atomizer) it will give you what your looking for. Did you contact me via email?
  13. First of all I understand you upset with Vaprlife but please keep it to one post and not everyone post you create. Second the Spade series is a 3.7v device so it will perform about the same as the Vp1, Vp2, and Janty Stick. (The VP series is more about battery life and consistency than throat hit) It sounds to me like your going to need something stronger more along the lines of a 5v unit. We are currently working on a 5 volt unit but it will not arrive until early next year. You could always look into the VP passthrough, we don't have any in stock but Dietsmokes.com does. There are also a couple of 5 volt hand mods that are floating around the web. Welcome to the forums Tracy
  14. Well at least your enjoying yourself, that's the most important thing I personally usually use midnight the most. Especially in the morning, gotta have something sweet.
  15. There was a bad batch of atomizers floating out there for a little while but I think the issue has since been fixed
  16. Here is a list that I created a while back during the ecig Diethylene glycol scare http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/index.php?/topic/981-diethylene-glycol/page__fromsearch__1
  17. Welcome to the world of vaping We'll be here to help ya along the way. Oh and welcome to the forums too!
  18. I'm glad we could make the experience a smooth transition for you! It's a learning process for everyone but at least not you have the adapters to pretty much make any atomizer fit your device.
  19. Genuine Joye 510 atomizer have those threads stick out. They are there to help draw liquid from the cartridge. So no your atomizer is not damaged because of it. That's not to say you had a bad atomizer, but usually any time an atomizer tastes burnt it's because at some point the heating coil didn't have enough liquid.
  20. If carts are lasting her that long she is either a very light smoker, or she is using a cartomizer
