See how much I love you guys If you wish, here is another option for a home page: http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/index.php?app=portal That will give you a quick run down on everything going on in the forums. I still need to edit a few things but it's coming along.

Brass "t-Tip" From Super T Manuracturing

Do you have a link to these carts? -
Very nice response for NJOY. They are one of the few "big" companies that I have respect for. (I've never once downed them on the forums)
-
I agree but we will work as hard as we can to stop that from happening. Suppliers are already preparing for the back lash. (The good suppliers at least) And I can assure you, if there is any way for us to offer the flavors we will. But I see it being an option for 40 different tobacco flavors rather than sweet flavors. Now if we just HAPPEN to have the flavor in concentrate and you just HAPPEN to add that to unflavored juice, and we just HAPPEN to have the instructions to get the right flavor...

An alcohol wipe should suffice. You can also use an eraser if it's small enough but make sure any eraser left overs are removed/blown out. You will also want to make sure the threads on your atomizers are clean from juice build up.
-
I don't think anyone actually realizes just how big this is. You think NJOY is doing this just to be nice? Don't be surprised if this is the way things will go. VT will end up the same way some day....There are a lot of things going on behind the scenes and I can tell you next year is going to be an interesting year for the ecig world I imagine. It's a sign, believe it. Enjoy your flavors now...

Yes a pencil eraser will work fine. Here's what you do. 1. Take of the cap and rub the eraser over the spring to clean any build up or possible oxidation. 2. Gently run the eraser around the threads of the cap and body threads. 3. Do the same to the bottom of the battery till it shines up a bit. Put everything back together and vape. Should help quite a bit.

As with any idea I'm sure with enough work this could become a reality. The problem is, would it be cost effective and would it really benefit the community? I have an idea right now that would work but it would and up being quite an expensive PV.
-
We will take a look into the batteries and see if this perhaps is the issue. I know personally I have not had any issue with my Spade at all. I usually get about 4 hours of use without any problems With that said, cleaning the end cap with an eraser really seems to help, you may also want to do it to the bottom side of the battery as well. (I do this once a week to clean off any build up) If those who purchased from the Vapor Talk Store still have issues please create a ticket by using the support link located towards to the top of the forum and we'll have the end cap/spring repaired if needed.

I'll be honest with you it's hit and miss with the KR cartomizers. Not being there is anything wrong with the passthrough but rather the way the cartomizers are made over in little China. Sometimes they work amazing on the passthrough sometimes they're just meah.

The fitting is made of copper and the chip shouldn't cause any issues. Without looking at the unit it's hard to say what the problem could be. Try cleaning the contacts with some alcohol. Then take the cap off the bottom and gently rub the threads with an eraser to make sure the contacts and threads are all clean. If that still doesn't seem to solve the issue I suggest contacting Diet Smokes about perhaps sending the unit out for repair, I'm sure it's well within it's warranty period.
-
Hmm Did you drop the unit at all? Not that it should matter. I would contact Parker and see about a repair. That doesn't sound like The Spade at all. @Vegas I think you may have ordered from me, if you still have the same issue please create a ticket and let me know. (Almost moving this post to the "help it broke" section)

Yes Tape back up is still one of the best ways to backup your data, it's also the most expensive. As for the CD's keenan, if you only have to back a few things here and there its ok. But the problem is CD are no reliable and believe it or not have a shelf life. If you keep a CD long enough the filament will actually disappear over time. Then your SOL. (The CD will just look like see through plastic) -

Wait, they told you a few bad sectors stopped the drive from booting? They could have just run some software to close off the bad sectors. I could have taken the data off myself. If it was making a loud clicking noise then yes it's probably physically broken which does happen from time to time. But from what they're saying that doesn't seem to have been the issue. Either way if the updates corrupted the drive a few tweaks could have had it up and running in no time. Anyway on to your question about the best way to back up. Well you have a few options: 1. Online back up services which is usually a month to month fee 2. Burn everything to a CD (This is the dumbest method) 3. Purchase multiple drives to backup the backups. 4. Or you can tape backup, which is what most major corporation do. (We use off site tape backups for the forums and store) Look for something with a good MTBF (Mean time between failures) -
I wish you the best of luck! We'll be here to help you as best we can along the way

That's great Dave! And you know what it only gets better. I've been smoke free for over a year now (never thought I would ever say that) I don't have even the slightest craving for a cigarette, I'm already lowering my nicotine levels and I feel 100x better than I did. My teeth are much whiter, my wife says I don't smell, my car smells like everyone else's car does. (nice and clean) No more tight test chest when I wake up in the morning which I always used to blame on the fan. I just feel all around better. The list of benefits goes on. Vaping is really quite amazing.

If you've only had it a week then it's probably fine. You might just be getting used to the throat hit now, taking it up to 24mg may help as that's a good starting point for many first timers. Some atomizers do go bad very quickly but it's not common as much with 510's these days. If you've already blown the atomzier out letting it sit over night will pretty much do the same thing, just slower.
