Thanks for the heads up. This the auto linking system acting up. There are trigger keywords on the forum that link to the VT store. For some reason when quoting, the markup language is coming through. I'll look into this and see if I can't get it resolved

Yea for me I had to keep removing some of my double posts. It first I thought it was just my browser then realized it was the forum acting up. I did a quick upgrade on Wednesday I think and the problem started then. So likely there's just a file acting up somewhere.

Well **** me this sounds like it's going to be horrible lol It wasn't until after I realized the dentist hadn't prepped me for anything. I was planning to drive, have a couple pulled and drive back home. It sounds like I might need someone to come along for the ride. I...can't wait!

Actually this is a bug on the forum (a recent one) as it's happened to me as well on a few other sub forums. I'll get right on it tomorrow as I think I have a patch

Hey Folks, So I'm really fortunate that for 31 years strong, I've never had a cavity. Woot woot (go drinking tons of milk). But this past week I visited the dentist and he mentioned I have a small cavity on my wisdom tooth. While he said it's not a huge deal, he suggested I have them finally removed as they're causing my teeth to become tight which may lead to cavities. (The thought apparently, is that as the wisdom teeth come in, your teeth become tight making it harder to clean in between..) I have two wisdom teeth showing and two hidden. I opted to remove only the teeth that are showing. (I was actually never going to get them removed as it's not bother me, they came in straight and my teeth look ok) I've never had dental work done (outside of cleaning every 12-24 months) So how much is this going to suck? I've got some rock solid teeth, apparently we have to crack them. It sounds...like fun. I've heard everything from no pain to, horrible pain afterwards and dry socket from smoking/vaping.

Yea when moderators understand the tools, you can really run a clean forum. I used to use that tool often to keep things on track but without offending the members who were cut off. (Members can be sensitive in mid conversation lol) It's also a create way to generate more content and keep to convo's going.

lol this made me laugh given the whole goat thing when a member first arrives. I suppose The Asylum is becoming more fitting.

It was me. You had gone off topic in the add a sub forum thread, so I was attempting to split off the topic (that way you could continue chatting) but it completely didn't work correctly and I found a new bug on the forum. So it looked like I just locked the topic like an A Hole. Basically the way the split topic feature works is, someone goes off topic, so you check mark where it started and select who you're going off topic with, it creates a new topic with those posts. You and the other member can continue talking without realizing it was split but, in a brand new topic. The feature is great actually because it allows off topics to become newly established threads.....when it works correctly lol Anyway turns out it's a bug and IPB is addressing it. (It's a core software issue and not something I can directly fix)
