  1. You may also want to take a look at your DIY liquid sub forum : http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/index.php?/forum/131-diy-e-liquid-forum/
  2. The ecig works for most people, what I tend to find when I see new vapors not having any luck is usually the lack of a slow draw. Sometimes (especially when first moving over) new ecig users will smoke and vape at the same time. The problem with this is that you pick up the ecig and try to vape it like a traditional analog, taking short quick draws. This of course doesn't work well at all with an electronic cigarette. The most important thing is taking long slow draws. The reason for this is to get more vapor, more vapor = a sufficient amount of vapor to get you off traditional tobacco. Direct dripping also helps quite a bit. I'm not sure how far along you are, or what you've tried but these videos might help. How do you get so much vapor? : http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/index.php?/videos/view-21-how-do-you-get-so-much-vapor/ What is Direct Dripping? : http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/index.php?/videos/view-19-what-is-direct-dripping/
  3. Thanks guys! your positive comments inspired me to finally update the video system, there are some new features for you video junkies ( I also added a neat little sidebar on the front page which shows newly uploaded videos) Now we're reviewer friendly too!
  4. Thanks Snubber! I greatly appreciate the kind words
  5. Keep your liquid in a cool dry place, out of sunlight (important) with a humidity level around 50% -+ 10%. You want to keep the liquid in a temperature environment no hotter than about 80 degrees.
  6. WELCOME TO THE FORUM! The best model to start with is always the Joye 510, it's small light and creates lots of vapor, it still regarded by advanced users as one of the best models on the market. I personally reviewed many models and you just can't go wrong with it.
  7. As Mark said it's 24mg per ML.
  8. Interesting article. A researcher claims electronic cigarettes don't deliver as much nicotine as a cigarette, I'm wondering if it's working for us just fine why this is a bad thing. More here: http://www2.timesdispatch.com/rtd/business/health_med_fit/article/ECIG12_20100211-215209/323735/
  9. Thanks for the positive feedback and your very welcome! It's always nice when someone leaves feedback, we do try our best to take care of everyone.
  10. hmmm hard to tell really with how dark it is, but it looks to be Joye Maybe just a bad atomizer
  11. You know looking at the bottom of the atomizer it certainly looks like Joye. If you notice there is a tiny little rubber ring, your atomizers rubber ring is clear, Joye's are usually white. If it's a knock off or SLB they did a darn good job at replicating it.
  12. If you can post a picture that would be great. Arno is a great guy, but that sounds to me like it's an SLB and not a Joye 510.
  13. Yup the FDA has become absolutely worthless. They used to be for the people but are now for the power.
  14. Hmmm usually the best way to get vapor from any electronic cigarette is to take slow drags if that isn't working and you've done everything states above I'm wondering if you have a genuine Joye 510. There has been an influx of suppliers carrying SLB "510's" which I'm hearing time and time again or total junk. (Some people like them most don't) When you look inside of your 510 do you notice a little washer inside? (A ring that goes around the silver bridge of the atomizer)
  15. It should last a few weeks to be honest just like a normal rechargeable battery
  16. Hmmm honestly Joye makes there atomizers the same way each time every time. I don't see why all of a sudden they would move the air holes. The knock offs are starting to look closer and closer like genuine Joye products, but your right about one thing the mesh does not look like Joye mesh to me. I would have to see the atomizer in person to really tell for sure. Could you take a picture showing the bottom of the atomizer? (If your camera has a Macro option then the closer the shot, the better)
  17. Adding more will not hurt the cartomizer, just remember they are only meant for 1-2 uses. Don't use them any longer than that and you'll be getting fresh vapor every time with no chard filler
  18. There are about 300 + spades floating around and only a very few actually have issues, all of which are covered under warranty
  19. ah well that could explain it, the VP adapter is created for the PT. I wouldn't use the other adapter as it will void your PT warranty.
  20. Your atomizer should never ever glow red, if it does then you don't have enough liquid in the atomizer.
  21. If the light turns off then your tightening the adapter way to much. The adapter doesn't have to screw all the way down, if you do try to screw it all the way down you risk push the center poll. This will damage the unit.
  22. If they can perfect this technology and better yet make sure it's released without the major power companies burring the idea, then it would reshape the electronic industry. Nice find
  23. Yes the standard carts don't last long at all. Most of us end up direct dripping. I think this video will help http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/index.php?/videos/view-19-what-is-direct-dripping/
  24. I think vapers should have a new slogan "Vapers - Kicking *** and taking names"
  25. The ban in Utah for electronic cigarettes has been avoided, give yourselves all a pat on the back, you deserve it! http://www.canadianbusiness.com/markets/market_news/article.jsp?content=D9DP28680
