  1. I would definitely suggest you pick yourself up a genuine Joye 510 kit. If that isn't in your budget then Electro Nic Stix and Dietsmokes both sell genuine Joye 510 atomizers.
  2. Yup Just as Dave says Janty creates many of the popular models you see on the market today, we all know the 510 is a great model but many of the newer members don't know the 510 actually started as the Janty Dura. Janty allows suppliers after X amount of time to carry a generic version. Thus we see the "Joye Stick" released after almost a year. We of course all know this was at first, the Janty Stick.
  3. Yup that is a SLB 510 alright, I'm surprised at all that Arno is selling the SLB version of the 510. Seems that alot of suppliers are selling the SLB versions as they are much cheaper to order. I like Arno but I do think if he is selling SLB atomizers that they should be marked as such
  4. Glad everything got worked out guys. I think this thread had served it's purpose. EDIT: I'm going to unlock this thread, don't let it turn into a flame war. That includes the members and the supplier..
  5. Yup sounds like one of the atomizers is clogged. Usually blowing it out from the opposite end into a paper towel will help.
  6. This is actually want you want to happen. The blinking LED is to let you know it's charging. Because the battery is new I don't think loosening up the switch or cleaning it will help. If after the battery blinks it still does not charge I would suggest just having them replaced. It's rare that a kit has 2 dead batteries. Is this an SLB 510 or a Joye 510? I would ask the supplier.
  7. Keenan hasn't been on the forum in a while as he's currently moving to another state, but I can tell you at the time he was a big fan of the 510
  8. Oh is that right Tinker? Silabo creates their version of the Joye 510 atomizers and they're total crap, (Although not all suppliers will admit to it publicly they will in the private forum) they contain a washer inside of the atomizer (The easy way to tell them apart). The Joye 510 atomizers do not contain a washer. Sure anything from China always has a failure rate but the performance from a Joye 510 far exceeds that of an SLB atomizer, the same goes for quality. Heck just look at all the problems the SLB batteries have, IE batteries staying on even when the button is depressed and this is a constant issue as of late, one that you won't find with Joye Tech. SLB products have a filaure rate upwards of 40% Joye tech is much much lower. Calling it an "Urban Myth" is calling me a liar, not something I appreciate in my forum.
  9. Trust me we're working on the Joker and it's not as far out as you would think. Vaprlife and Vapor Talk have always promoted safety as a number one priority for our customers, the joker will be released, not only will it be released but it will be even more improved. I obviously can't say what will be added just yet, but it will be worth it
  10. By the way tinker NOOBIE isn't miss spelled. It's was spelled the "leet" way.
  11. Tinker while I agree 100mg is much much to high of a dosage to be mixing in your own home and no doubt will end up forcing this industry into strict regulation I feel your point has been made. I understand your anger but putting down members is not the way to go around things. You can make your point without being derogatory. With that said I do think that members need to be aware that using anything over 36mg is dangerous. I'm sure we can admit we're all adult however accidents happen. I suggest anyone performing DIY keep the nicotine levels no higher 36mg.
  12. A few of the "USA Made" E liquid suppliers use Lor Anns
  13. There are minimal studies currently done on second hand vaping, I do believe NJOY did some studies proving E Liquid was much much safer than traditional tobacco (at least in chemical content) however I personally would not advise vaping around anyone, I would use the same courtesy vaping as I did smoking.
  14. Yea I sent this picture over to Parker and he agrees, I have a feeling this is an SLB510 and NOT a Joye510. To me, this is a SLB atomizer without the washer inside. It's said these fakes are all over the place and they are confusing new members. Really chaps my hide. (For lack of a better word)
  15. I would personally suggest Dulcis, when you order leave a message in the customer notes and I'll add VT Tobacco as well at no charge. That way you can try both
  16. Great, the members are awesome And welcome to the forums by the way You must be talking about what is called a PPC. And yes the 510 does have a PPC. (Personal Charging Case) Most suppliers offer a warranty, but do not offer a money back guarantee. But trust us we've been around for a while, your not going to want your money back. The Joye 510 WILL help you move away from tobacco. Just trust us, many have come and many have left tobacco behind. Well the short story is that auto batteries risk liquid entering into the unit. After a few weeks the battery may stop working, the is especially likely if you start to direct drip. (and you will) Manual batteries are sealed and instead have a little button on the side of the battery, you press that instead and the unit turns on. I personally have used blu, in fact I've used every model on the market. Your buying into the look and not the quality, I get the feeling your looking to be convinced to buy blu, when in the long run your setting yourself up for disappointment. It's unfortunate but Blu does have an awesome look but I can't count how many times I've heard about unhappy customers and broken units. Save your money, get a Joye 510. I've tried well over 100+ models, the joye 510 is a great starter unit. The Janty Ego is also another great choice if you like the look.
  17. You know, after looking at the atomizer picture again I get the feeling that isn't a genuine Joye 510 atomizer. The reason why is just how messy it looks, the webbing seems much more spread apart than a Joye, also the outside ring of mesh just isn't clean. Where did you purchase the Joye 510 atomizer from?
  18. Hey nothing wrong with that! That's awesome and great that your spreading the word. I know people at my work get tired of hearing about electronic cigarettes, but most of them are now tobacco free
  19. Doesn't sound like it's actually dead, you have to constantly drip especially if your direct dripping. 3 drops will get you about 4-5 good hits, then you have to add again. If you vape until the point there is no vapor at all you will start burning up your atomizer, this is what causes the burnt strange taste
  20. Interesting point, I have a daughter on the way and I've always wondered what to tell her when she gets old enough to ask "hey Dad what is that?"
  21. The best way to tell is if you look inside of the atomizer there should NOT be a ring around the bridge. Showing a picture of the inside of the atomizer would be helpful. Either way welcome to Vapor Talk!
  22. Hands down the best atomizer for the VP units is the 302 short bridge. I hear the BE's work well but I personally never had any luck with them.
  23. Yes this is true which is why the PT PT has a fuse built in. It's the ONLY PT that has a built in fuse. Being a geek this was one of the first thing I brought up when working on the PT with Vaprlife
  24. There are only 3 versions you can get, the standard PT from china which is availble from many suppliers, the VP passthrough which works on just about any atomizer (will work with the 510) or the Puresmoker PT which will also work with the 510 atomizer. I personally would go with one of the american made PT's if it's in your budget.
  25. Hmm hard to tell if this is be installed on your browser or computer. But there is one way to find out. You can completely reset Internet explorer back to it's factory settings (this will remove all ads ons) 1. Open IE 2. Go to Tools> Internet Options>advanced 3. Click "reset" That will restore your browser back to it's normal state. If that STILL doesn't work then we know it's not something installed on your browser and we can go from there.
