Glad you like it! It's a great portable and small device

Intro As of late we've received lots of email and pm's in regards to the knock of Joye 510 devices on the market. Many members are fed up and would like to know, just how can you tell the difference? Well we're right there with you, enough is enough, it's bad enough we have to fight for our right to vape, now we've got crooked suppliers as well? Well it can be tough tell the fakes apart, but we have put this topic together to help guide you in the right direction. You might be wondering why all the fuss? Is the knock of just as good? Well it depends on who you talk to. Most agree that while the SLB version of the Joye 510 (often referred to as the knock off version) works fine it reports have said they create less vapor and have higher failure rates. Regardless an honest supplier will usually state whether or not it's a genuine 510 while others unfortunately, will blatantly lie even going so far as to show real Joye 510 pictures when they're actually selling knock offs. Don't you love it? As one member said, if a supplier lies about one model what else are they lying about? Some red flags 1. You find a supplier selling Joye 510 kits for extremely cheap - The supplier may just be lowering the price so low he's only making a few dollars a kit to compete with other suppliers but there is a chance this isn't a genuine kit. Remember the rule of thumb, you get what you pay for. The creator of the Joye 510, Joye Tech, has what's called an MOQ. An MOQ is the minimum order quantity required for someone to purchase from their inventory. This can be quite expensive and many suppliers, especially new suppliers, just can't afford to purchase the set MOQ. In turn they opt to purchase from various other manufactures in China that sell generic 510 versions. There isn't necessarily anything wrong with this unless of course they trying to sell the product as genuine. You wouldn't pay for a BMW if it had a ford motor in it would you? If it seems to good to be true, it just might be. 2. Visually telling the difference... - Bellow are 2 pictures Lets start with the "fake" Joye product or the SLB version. You will notice there is a metal washer that circles the rim of the atomizer. This is an instant tell tale sign you've purchased a knock off. Keep in mind that some suppliers are working to have China remove this washer to make it even harder for the customer to tell it's a knock off. Another reason to stick with the only the most trusted suppliers. In the picture below we see a Real Joye 510 atomizer. Here we find there is no washer, the mesh looks much different (more "webby") You can also see threads coming out from inside of the atomizer. 3. Are you finding your atomizer turns on even when the light is off and the button isn't pressed? This is another red flag you might be using a knock off. The SLB version of the 510 is known to do this often. It's a defect in that particular model. Again I'm sure a few months after this topic is written China will be pumping out even better knock offs. So if the price seems to good to be true or the supplier is new you may want to stick with some of the long running suppliers. It's always a good idea to post here on the forum and speak with other members first before purchasing from a supplier. (This includes our certified suppliers, just because they are certified does not mean they necessarily sell a legitimate product, do your research first!!) A real Joye 510 kit will normally run anywhere from $50 - $65 dollars. Good luck and happy vaping

Letting the atomizer cool down will usually help. Another thing to keep in mind is making sure you drip only enough for your current vape. What tends to happen is user A will add say 3 drops of liquid, then take 2 puffs and place the unit down. Then they come back later, add another 3 drops and vape again, only to have liquid leak out of the device. This of course is because there is far to much liquid in the atomizer. I suppose if direct dripping isn't working there is nothing wrong with using carts, just make sure you keep them topped off and you'll get just as much vapor.
-
This usually happens when you've vaped with not enough juice, usually vaping straight for 30 minutes or so will rid of the taste, if the taste doesn't disperse it's what we refer to as a "partial burn" in which part of the atomizer was damaged and that taste will probably remain.
-
There is no law currently against vaping indoors, but to safe yourself any trouble it's always a good idea to ask first. Most of the time I'll vape until someone asks me about it, 9/10 they're intrigued. Bar owners are usually very interested as they know this potentially could bring back a lot of customers that have since left due to the smoking bans.

Vapor | Talk Forum Added To Ejuice App For Iphone

I'm wondering where you are pulling the mobile version from...If your using the mobile template (which is hidden) it's not ready for public use yet. If your using the lite version that all is good. I've sent you a PM -
To be honest it depends on who you talk to, some say they last longer other say they are horrible and perform poorly. The main issue at hand I think is the fact that some suppliers sell them as Joye 510's when in fact they are SLB.

Once the Vapor Talk office has moved over I'll probably create a video You should see some videos start popping up late next week.

The unit is safe because it cuts off. A custom modification usually has minor circuitry inside if any at all, it's a "dumb unit" so it needs to use protected batteries in the event they are ever discharged to fast. (Which usually only happens if it's pulling more amps than the batteries can handle) The Janty stick however has a cut off, it has circuitry in side which will stop it from discharging to low. The 510 battery does the same thing, when it starts to blink, thats the protection mode kicking in
-
Looks like everyone has already given you great answers Although most of us prefer to direct drip with the Spade you can absolutely use carts and in fact we've had requests for quite a while to carry carts. The Spade uses a 510 cartridge and we do offer them in the store

The 901 isn't a bad atomizer but because the 901 didn't have a manual battery at the time it was sort of lost in the moment. Some suppliers also complain that the failure rate on the 901 is quite high so warranty issues became a problem. I personally just didn't like the 901 but it's not a bad atomizer, some people swear by it. I suppose with anything it's a matter of preference.
-
The Janty still uses unprotected 10440 and the spade uses protected 10440's. The eGo will last much much longer but the batteries are more expensive to replace. It's a trade off.
-
Sorry guys I thought you where talking about 510 kits not atomizers. That is correct we are still sold out of atomizers. Sorry for the confusion
-
Well we have them currently in stock and we have plenty But let's just say the 510 atomizer wasn't created, meaning absolutely no 510 device such as the eGo, Spade, 510 etc then I would suggest either an RN4082 or perhaps a Penstyle model. Let's just hope that never happens! If that model was to large for the new user then something like the M401 would be up next.
-
The is what we call a Penstyle AKA the 801. It's a first generation electronic cigarette and has been out for quite some time now. They usually sell for no more than about $50. I would move onto something like the Joye 510, Janty eGo etc. These are much newer and better performing devices

This is a great question! And there is a simple solution 1. Go to the top right hand corner of the forum, you will notice your username. Click on it 2. There is a drop down menu with some options, click "settings" 3. Click the "forums" tab 4. You will see an option that states "Watch every topic I reply to" In the drop down menu you can choose how you want to be notified. Every time someone replies to any topic you've posted in, an email will be sent. Easy! Just remember this could turn into quite a few emails. A daily digest is the way to go but some like instant notification. Your choise Oh and welcome to the forums

I'll be honest with you Neg, the electronic cigarette is an alternative meant for those who already smoke tobacco. If you don't smoke there really isn't a point in vaping. You really don't want to become addicted to nicotine. Just my advice
-
Yea the 304's and 302's will leak quite a bit, blowing them out every week or so will really help. To be honest when I use the penstyle atomizers I'll pop on a cart, especially with the 302's. You pretty much have to vape whatever liquid is inside you can't leave it sitting or it will leak. Try adding a cart and see how that helps

The US office is in Florida, shouldn't take more than a couple of days
-
Well it could be one of two things, either you tightening the atomizer to hard and causing the center poll to twist (although it usually takes quite some time to wear the center poll down that much) or you really have had bad luck with the batteries. One of the only issues we have with the spade is the batteries, which are created in china. We'd love to purchase American 3.6 volt batteries but they just don't make them. (That I'm aware of) So we're stuck ordering these things from China. The quality control is something to be desired. I usually send customers to battery junction for more batteries (http://www.batteryjunction.com/) but they are currently offline, once they do come back online I suggest purchasing some 10440 from them, they're pretty inexpensive. Once we get some batteries back in stock, whether you like it or not, we're going to send your some replacements Keep us posted on how the new batteries work, if they don't and there is something wrong with your spade let me know and we'll ship you out a new one asap. EDIT: Here is a link to correctly charge the batteries as well just in case: http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/index.php?/topic/3455-vp-charger/

I've actually heard this about Rath juice, Grimm Green ordered some juice from Rather and said it wasn't good at all. They are still working out their mixes I think, I would contact them and ask for another bottle.

I Think Someone Stole The Vt Logo Dudes...
Christopher replied to GrimmGreen's topic in The Vape Lounge - Off Topic Chat
We did It's part of a larger template. We are in the middle trademarking the Vapor Talk name and logo, of which will not include the crown -
Nothing really, it will leak. Over time you will learn how many drips you need to vape. Then once your done vaping and low on vapor you pop it inside your pocket, by that time there isn't much liquid left.
