  1. We call them lurkers Eventually they sign up and become members. (Some have never used a forum before and are a little intimidated by all the information) But have no fear our freindly guests, come on down we're here to help!
  2. Your very welcome! We where working hard late into this weekend this week
  3. Yes I think we've all had this happen a little. When vaping the taste is more from smell than anything else. After a while you just start to get used to it. An older atomizer can also cause problems. After a while an atomizer will just start to give off vapor with throat hit rather than actually giving off taste. If you've had your atomizer for more than 5 weeks it's time to get a new one. I suggest using one flavor for a day or two THEN switch to another flavor. That way it's stops you from getting used to all your flavors at once. (Or creating a soup of flavors in your atomizer)
  4. Yes this is pretty normal. Most of the time you've already had your fix but are still fixing the habit. There is also less nicotine in an electronic cigarette than a traditional cigarette so it's understandable to vape more
  5. The cartomizer can be filled but you seem to be looking for something quick and easy. Filling a cartomizer isn't really quick and on the go. If you price isn't an option buying them would probably be easier
  6. That would be me that had the baby It's been quite the workout trying to take care of her the wife and the store all at the same time We're hoping to have the PT's in stock within the next few weeks but there has been a bit of a delay. I would suggest keeping an eye on Vaprlife.com's website. (They are the creators) As they will probably have them in stock before we do. I can assure you it will last you much longer. I'm STILL using my original VP PT. (Pre production model before anyone knew what a VP PT was)
  7. Dietsmokes.com, Electronicstix.com and Awesomevapor.com will all ship to Canada. I think Word Up Ecig does as well upon request.
  8. I think you just may have one best topic title I remember the days of waking up in the morning, having a cigarette and thinking...oh god I need to poop. NOW! I didn't even have time to grab the Best Buy magazine on the way! This hasn't happened since using the electronic cigarette (not sure why) so perhaps this is something to bring up with the doctor.
  9. Well if you cost isn't an issue then the KR808 is probably the closest to a real cigarette you'll find in terms of simplicity. Just note that the KR808's use cartomizers (the cartridge and atomizer are one) so they're not meant to be refilled with liquid. You'll have to keep buying cartomizers. (Other than that it's a pretty good model) I would however still stay away from the M sereies (401 and 402) They die out pretty quickly. The 306 isn't bad and this can use liquid. It's also very small. If you don't plan to drip with liquid then go with the KR series.
  10. +1 to mcquinn's answer. Can't go wrong and it's cheap.
  11. Well the M402 and Dragon are the same thing. I personally did a review on it quite a while back. Although it's a small lightweight model, it lacks the vapor available today. Let's start with the hardware Basically it boils down to 2 models 1. Joye 510 which is recommend to every new person. Rather than explain why, just take my word for it, it's great. It works well, creates lots of a vapor, it's small and feels close to a cigarette. These units are manual batteries. You'll want to stay away from the auto batteries as they die out quickly. Or buy the auto battery and learn the hard way 2. The Janty ego. Now keep in mind we sell both of these models so don't take my word for it. The reason we also suggest the Janty eGo is because it uses the exact same atomizer as the model above. The difference? Rather than the battery only lasting say 1-2 hours max, this model will last upwards of 10+ hours. If you don't mind the look this unit is hand down pretty perfect. It's also a lot smaller than it looks in pictures. As for what liquid is close to menthol? Specifically Newports? In all honesty. Nothing. You'll never get exactly the same taste as a menthol cigarette. You'll get close but never spot on. Menthol flavors are sort of minty. You can create a whole topic dedicated to which menthol is the best. I'll let a few other members chime in on this. Hope that helps If you have more questions fire away
  12. Anytime you have a metallic taste it's because you've let the atomizer run dry. When using a PT especially at 5 volts you need to drip very often. Almost every few puffs. If your not careful it's easy to pop atomizer at 5 volts especially the knockoff 510's.
  13. Mooby Ghost REALLY likes to Vape... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KlhxQoaP4qA
  14. I have not tested them to be honest but I've heard good things about the atomizer. We will actually have some of them shipping out next week. I'll keep you posted when they arrive
  15. All electronic cigarettes used to have 5-10 second cut off periods. It was meant to prevent "nictoine overdose" Joye was the first to create none cut off electronic cigarette. Most companies now of course do not have a cut of period but for whatever reason Dekang sticks with it.
  16. Well most atomizers really should be changed at around 5 weeks or so. I suggest changing them around 4 to be honest. As for some working better than others, this isn't just the Joye atomizers it's all atomizers. It's just part of the quality control in China. Some work great and others work ok. I used to be much worse way back when, in fact you'd be lucky to have an atomizer last longer than 1-2 weeks. Suppliers are always pushing China to provide better products but atomizers should always be treated as disposable.
  17. And the Dekang model (that works well actually) has a 5 second cut off.
  18. I think many of us started by stealing either our parents ( in my case my parents did not smoke) or our friends parents cigarettes. I suppose I can understand what your wife thinks it's a waste of money, if you've never smoked, you'll never understand what it's like. But at the very least let her know you no longer smell and the car will no longer smell. If you point out the positives she may come around a little
  19. Well Ashley (my spouse) was up for anything that would stop me smoking, she didn't like the idea of the price at the time (ecigs used to be much more expensive than they are now) but said go for it. My family thought it was a joke at first After a few weeks I really took off with it and everyone supported me the whole way through. I told them I was going to create an electronic cigarette forum (they of course rolled their eyes, Chris at it again!) and well, here we all are
  20. You may want to look at the T Tip from super T. It's a little pricey but works great. Your able to direct drip right through the top. I use one all the time http://www.supertmanufacturing.com/id72.html I use the older style but it still works great.
  21. As far as I know only Vapor Talk has them in stock. We don't have many left but once our store opens they will be availble on the 17th. (Dietsmomokes will sometimes drop ship from Vapor Talk)
  22. That's about 4 weeks work of emails some are spam, some are forum auto messages (logs for example) some are store support notifications, Twitters, Facebook etc. I can usually get through about 2000 pretty quickly by using Rules and Catagories. For example I have Facebook and Twitter auto file. Once I hit the purge buttong they all shoot into the folder they need to go into. From there I can find the important emails and go to town. Usually takes me about 2 hours
  23. My atty would ask "can we PLEASE change to another flavor it's been weeks" (I usually vape the same flavor for weeks before I change)
