Ordered My Joker, How About You?
Christopher replied to bzeisman's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Lifepo4 batteries should only be used in the Joker -
I've never seen a model that need to be pierced before (and I've seen a lot of models) So I can't tell you how to prevent that. What I can tell you is that the Janty eGo is a great model and very well built. Joye 510 atomizers and Janty atomizer are the same thing and work interchangeably. Most people direct drip with their ecigs rather than uses the carts, I would suggest taking a quick look at this video for reference. It'll make your vaping experience that much better: http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/videos/view-19-what-is-direct-dripping/

On ECF yes that is correct. The supplier is welcome to sell liquid above 36mg but cannot post or advertise it on ECF. As for Vapor Talk so long as it's done in the suppliers forum I don't have an issue with it. Same goes for the open suppliers area. But as with anything it's by far at your own risk.
-
Yea and I totally understand that. It's definitely a frustrating situation. I know personally if I wasn't a supplier and didn't see things from a supplier view I'd probably feel the same way. From a legality stand point it can be tough trying to balance things out. After all we live in a society where you can sue for spilling hot coffee on yourself. Speaking of which, time for some more Java

I agree with them to be honest. I have yet to censor it here at Vapor Talk but some suppliers are willing to sell just about anything to consumers for a buck. ECF is also the front line for information at the moment. I can just here the lawyers now "Your forum supports users buying 2 gallon jugs of poison?" E Liquid in bottles is already going to be the first thing the FDA goes after should E Cigarettes ever become approved. It's only a matter of time before one idiot screws it up for everyone by leaving a giant bottle of liquid on the table right in front of the kids. Or heck ends up spilling it on himself. There are already cases in which children have managed to down a bottle of E Liquid. One supplier had Poison Control on the phone and they where not to happy. The kid is lucky to have lived. I don't mean to sound as bad as the FDA but I question some of the liquid experiments vapers delve into. But I mean where does this all end? How much E Liquid do you REALLY need? I mean seriously. People are buying liquid by the gallon to mix? Do you purchase pounds of flavor to make a cupcake? Since when did everyone become chemists? This is some NASTY stuff. I spilled 30ml on myself and let me tell you, it sucks. I mean IT REALLY doesn't feel good. Thus the reason I've never allowed anything higher than 10ml in my store. (For the new users it's not to make more money, we offer 30ml via 10ml bottles at a discount) I think it's great that we've found vaping, I think it's great that we've left analogs. But I think some of us have forgotten our way and have just jumped off the deep end. Just my 2 cents Great topic though!

Take a look at this video I created a little while ago, should help quite a bit! Click Here

Hello All, Great! And I think you mean your first new electronic cigarette/custom electronic cigarette. A vaper is someone who vapes. IE "I am a vaper" I would suggest you direct drip. Click Here for info on how to direct drip I'm not sure if your using the 510 atomizer or the Penstyle atomizer. Either way an atomizer can take a little while to break in. Because the atomizer is brand new usually I'll add about 4-5 drops. Then puff a little. (maybe 3-4 good drags) add perhaps one or two more drops of liquid and you should be all set. Don't let the atomizer get to hot, in time it will break in and you'll be blowing out clouds of vapor in no time. Just like anything vaping has a bit of a learning curve. The best way is to vape until there isn't much vapor left (but don't vape your atomizer too dry!) Once you find the old flavor is starting to disappear go ahead and add a few drops of the new flavor. We where all new at one point! Before you know you'll be handing out expert advice! Rob

The versatility of the Xhaler is definitely a nice feature.

I suppose you shouldn't take my advice as we're actually selling the Joker but I can tell you this 1. Pre sale will start VERY soon. Perhaps in the next week or so. 2. The Joker will be the first protected 5 volt custom modification on the market. I'm not sure how long you've been in the game but some 5 volt units had issues blowing up due to incorrect battery usage. The Joker is protected. For example if I take a low voltage atomizer (which would overload the batteries) and place it on the Joker the Joker will shut itself down Remove the atomizer and wait 10 seconds, boom your good to go. I will demonstrate this on video in the next couple of days. 3. The Joker also includes a battery "monitor" As the batteries drain the LED on the joker will change color letting you know when your no longer vaping at 5 volts. Personally I would hold of a little longer. I've tested a lot of units in my day and this is an awesome unit. One thing to note however is that the Joker will cost quite a bit more than the XHALER but safety does cost more to implement. Sorry for the plug

I am an eGo owner and I use it often (with the exception of my Joker) and it's awesome. It's my on the go device. I always get about 10 hours worth of battery life and I vape often.

That's the American Way
-
Well the 510 does run a bit hotter than the 901 so flavor will be a bit less but I'm guessing it's probably because the atomizer needs to be broken in. Anytime you get a new atomizer the flavor always test a bit "meh"

You know, if anyone could create E Liquid it would be the natives. They do have that advantage over us. With E Liquid currently tax free I'm sure it would benefit them greatly at least in the short run.

Thank you so much! You know it's been quite a ride running this website and hell or high water I will do everything in my power to keep it going. I couldn't do it without the help of my awesome forum admins and moderators as well as all the members who submit content to the forum every day. I set the stage but the members put on the show (You can quote me on that if I ever get hit by a bus) It takes hundreds of hours to keep this site going and topics like this make it all worth it. So thank you! -

Electronic Cigarette Sales Banned In New York
Christopher replied to Christopher's topic in General Vape News
There are quite a few suppliers selling out of New York. The most popular here on Vapor Talk would be Vaprlife. (All your favorite VP models, Joker, Spade etc) -
EDIT - I just received this information from Kristin over at CASAA.org. Please visit http://vaperscoalition.org/ About halfway down is a link for emailing the Senators in New York. Be sure to click the Senate link and not the Assembly link! This will open an email form in your email system, automatically filled with the Senator's email addresses and a form letter. Please tell people to be sure to sign it. We recommend that New York residents use the form letter, but write by snail mail, fax or call, because email is often ignored! Adding a story about your e-cig success is a nice touch. Also, the New York Senate has an "Open Legislation" website where you can comment on Bills in progress. The page for S7234 (the one that will result in a de facto ban in NY State) is here: http://open.nysenate.gov/legislation/bill/S7234 Kristin Noll Marsh CASAA.org **** Well it looks like New York is done. Electronic cigarette sales are now banned in New York. Here is the video EDIT: Here is a link to the bill: Click Here CALL LOCAL REP and SENATOR If you are an NY resident call your local representative for bill A9529 and call your Senator for bill S7234, if you do not know this information please click the following links REPRESENTATIVES click here SENATORS click here The members listed below are sponsoring these bills.
