  1. Yea I agree it will always be about the money. I dont't think we need to run and stock up yet but it's still an up hill battle that we need to keep a close eye on.
  2. Call BS all you want this is nothing new. (Why would I lie?) Shipments are STILL clearing customs and fact we just had a shipment clear but with the International Expo it's becoming tougher. Ask any of your contacts in China if electronic cigarettes are legal and they'll tell you no. (If they're honest) I learned most of this working with Janty. You have to remember China doesn't enforce laws as extreme as we do. Some contacts will state "oh there is a delay in customs" but in fact large shipments are pulled in China all the time but usually they are 10x easier to get released in than in the states. If your a large enough customer contact in China are up front about it. As for the law I'll see if I can get a copy for everyone. This isn't a secret. EDIT: Oh and by the way do you ever notice your liquid come in different colors? Most supplier don't know why this happens. They assume it's because the factory is inconstant. It's not, most liquid factories are broken into multiple locations. Each location makes the liquid a little different. When you order from a Chinese contact they send the order out to one of their sub factories. You might also notice the factory name change on the customs forms they change their company names all the time. Also how big are your shipments? I assume quite small.
  3. Sorry for the delay. China cannot bring their factories here, the FDA would shut them down in a heart beat! If it was that easy suppliers would have opened factories here months ago. The ONLY reason members are able to purchase an electronic cigarette is because they FDA at the moment has not laid down the major hammer yet. Suppliers use all types of tricks to bring product into the country. But once this lawsuit with the FDA and SE is over things could get really bad. And for those of you asking yes almost every atomizer and electronic cigarette kit comes from China. How are they doing it? Well that's something only a few supplier know. It's much more complicated than you'd think. Remember the delays that happened right before Chinese New Year? This wasn't because suppliers had a boost in sales it was because the factories in China didn't "pay up" They often need to pay off officials in order to make sure our product passes customs on the international side. Suppliers sometimes have to pay extra to make sure their shipment is released. This is the reason larger suppliers charge higher prices. [Larger shipments more likely to become sized] They're not trying to over price products it's harder for them to bring product in. Believe me if this ever goes under I could write a book on the amount of crap that goes on behind the scenes all of which most members are oblivious of. Most suppliers don't want the members/customers to freak so we take on all the pressure and stress. As for the smaller suppliers they have yet to deal with the issues yet but much of this is starting to leak out. I may write a blog and explain the process. It's not only interesting but an eye opener. We also have the Expo going on in China this is causing problems as well.
  4. Yes. Things are starting to get tough on both sides. (I don't think people realize how serious things are getting) We had a liquid shipment taken in Hong Kong recently. Electronic Cigarettes are not only just illegal in Hong Kong but now all of China. The Chinese government has placed a permanent ban on the selling or creation of electronic cigarettes country wide.
  5. Although I can't be sure that looks like a knock off east mall version. Never used one so I can't say either way. It may work well so I don't want to knock it just yet
  6. I'm guessing they are probably the same carts we use. Interesting way of measuring the nicotine. Could have something to do with the FDA vs. Njoy case
  7. Man that drives me nuts! I always have to switch the toilet paper when my wife puts it in
  8. Hmmm this is interesting. I personally haven't noticed but then again it hasn't gotten really hot in California yet. I'll have to pay more attention when out and about
  9. And for those of you that don't know what this is all about please read this, it's extremely important:* *Sun Vapor - ECF
  10. And update from Sun Vapor which I thought I'd post here. The FDA is still pushing on the Njoy, SE vs FDA case. So far they are winning. They (FDA) have been granted continued rights to seize any and all shipments at the boarder. Hell or high water, the FDA does NOT want you using electronic cigarettes.... ** A major blow on the Docket Sheet today as the Appeals Court ruled that the FDA met it its burden of "a high likelyhood of sucess" on the merits of the Appeal ot issue a full Stay pending a ruling on the Appeal. As stated: Smoking Everywhere, Inc., et al., Appellees v. Food & Drug Administration, et al., Appellants BEFORE: Ginsburg, Griffith, and Kavanaugh, Circuit Judges O R D E R Upon consideration of the emergency motion for stay pending appeal, the joint opposition thereto, and the reply; and the court's administrative stay issued February 2, 2010, it is ORDERED that the administrative stay be dissolved. It is FURTHER ORDERED that the motion for stay be granted. Appellants have satisfied the stringent standards required for a stay pending appeal. See Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Commission v. Holiday Tours, Inc., 559 F.2d 841, 843 (D.C. Cir. 1977); D.C. Circuit Handbook of Practice and Internal Procedures 32-33 (2009). It is FURTHER ORDERED , on the court's own motion, that consideration of this appeal be expedited. The Clerk is directed to enter a briefing schedule and to calendar this case for oral argument on the first appropriate date in September 2010. Per Curiam FOR THE COURT. This means the Appeals Court is leaning with the FDA and is the worst news we could have gotten at this point. But the case is far from over.
  11. I didn't do that but I did flick my ecig out the window
  12. I watched that on my Xbox Netflix account. Interesting movie.
  13. Some habits just can't be broken and for me it's vaping with the window down. Does anyone else still do this?
  14. The measurements are accurate. How much nicotine enters your body, like a cigarette, is not tested and unknown. Nicotine does not burn/vape effectively so I'm quite sure the nicotine absorption is lower.
  15. You get about 1 mg of nicotine per cigarette usually. But of course this depends on the cigarette on how much you smoke. Now let's talk E Liquid. The 10ml bottle contains 24mg per milliliter. (Most people believe it's 24mg for the entire bottle) So if you've used 5ml you've used about 120mg of nicotine total.
  16. If you look on the side of your 510 charger you will notice it has a hole which is for a car adapter use. A few suppliers have them.
  17. I'm not sure how many of you follow the Genetic Modification industry but it really pisses me off. (It would take far to long to explain the whole deal) Anyway I read this blog today, they are now going to genetically engineer animals. For example feather free chickens. All approved by the idiots at the FDA. Seriously people, buy organic. I don't want to teach my daughter some day that a chicken-cow goes "moocluck" http://www.undoge.org/?p=123 Oh and one more thing, don't you think it's sad we have to pay extra for Organic, we actually have to pay EXTRA for food to be grown the way it should be. I mean really?
  18. Thanks guys! I appreciate that feedback We're getting better and faster and the more orders that come in the more we try to lower the prices for ya
  19. And just like every other high score this was sent over to the Arcade developer. Everything checked out. So so a big congrats
  20. http://www.theecigguru.com/2010/05/what-heck-is-5-volt-unit-and-why-does.html
  21. Thanks! Article requests are alway welcomed
  22. Does this happen with each battery or only one? If it happens with both batteries it's more likely your atomizers. If your using SLB 510 atomizers it's been reported that they stop working well after a while. It could also be from over dripping, your atomizer may be clogged. I would also try cleaning the threads on the atomizer and eGO with some rubbing alcohol. This can make a world of difference.
  23. The Joker uses Lifepo 4 batteries. What set the Joker apart from the rest of the market is the fact it's protected. There are no other protected 5 volt units on the market.
  24. Well Janty is a good start as they make the eGo however you can pick up a generic Joye version from a few supplier for a bit cheaper. I think Word Up has them in stock
