Low Resistance atomizers come from Silabo
-
Did you get them from the Vapor Talk store? If so I could tell you, but I'd have to kill you... (It's a stamp used for the manufacture)
-
Amen to that! Soft top cartomizers all the way

Well you have to drip A LOT More when vaping at high voltage. The nice thing about HV is the hit takes you back like someone just hit you with a bus. But the downside is it rips through the flavor faster than the PG. Because of this your always having to drip and wipe.

Running a forum (and I own more than one website) is a bit like getting a puppy. It's easy to buy a puppy, they sleep most of the time. But as they grow it gets a little tougher. You have monitor the puppy until he gets old enough to take care of himself. Forums are almost the same way. The easier a forum is to run the smaller it usually is. I used to run a forum with 25,000 members and let me tell you, it's a handful. Not always the forum itself, but the emails, support etc. Vapor Talk also has a store, support system, Facebook, Twitter and Youtube. Let me tell you, the amount of questions, PM's, Messages and emails are insane sometimes. But I love it I've met and spoke to some great people along the way.

I agree. I think the only section of this forum that will ever likely end up with sub sections is the suppliers section (Not sure how I'd break it down but I'm sure I'll drum up something) and the modders area. Other than that there really isn't much need to create sections by state and country etc. We are all vapers looking out for each other.

Thanks guys we do try to keep the forum organized. I do feel for ECF and the vast amount of information they have. But I don't see the need for that many sections. The more sections you create the more members start to work as "clicks" rather than as a group. I have no doubt that Vapor Talk will continue to grow (ECF boomed right around the 3-4k member mark) and when we face the same amount of information overload I'll probably create one article forum with the most common asked questions. (Locked topics) That should cover 90% of all questions asked. The rest of the forum will pretty much remain the same I'd imagine. As for rude members - while there are some awesome members on ECF there are many bad apples with some huge personalities. We have them arrive here on occasion and they are quickly turned around. A forum is only as good as it's members and staff.

You don't want to let the atomizer get too dry. If so, you'll send up "popping it" The atomizer must be kept moist. Think of it a bit like a car engine, no oil = no good

HA! You're all banned

This was sent to me by David C Today Carrying a Gun is a Civilized Act . . . Human beings only have two ways to deal with one another: reason and force. If you want me to do something for you, you have a choice of either convincing me via argument, or force me to do your bidding under threat of force. Every human interaction falls into one of those two categories, without exception. Reason or force, that's it. In a truly moral and civilized society, people exclusively interact through persuasion. Force has no place as a valid method of social interaction, and the only thing that removes force from the menu is the personal firearm, as paradoxical as it may sound to some. When I carry a gun, you cannot deal with me by force. You have to use reason and try to persuade me, because I have a way to negate your threat or employment of force. The gun is the only personal weapon that puts a 100-pound woman on equal footing with a 220-pound mugger, a 75-year old retiree on equal footing with a 19-year old gang banger, and a single guy on equal footing with a carload of drunk guys with baseball bats. The gun removes the disparity in physical strength, size, or numbers between a potential attacker and a defender. There are plenty of people who consider the gun as the source of bad force equations. These are the people who think that we'd be more civilized if all guns were removed from society, because a firearm makes it easier for a [armed] mugger to do his job. That, of course, is only true if the mugger's potential victims are mostly disarmed either by choice or by legislative fiat--it has no validity when most of a mugger's potential marks are armed. People who argue for the banning of arms ask for automatic rule by the young, the strong, and the many, and that's the exact opposite of a civilized society. A mugger, even an armed one, can only make a successful living in a society where the state has granted him a force monopoly. Then there's the argument that the gun makes confrontations lethal that otherwise would only result in injury. This argument is fallacious in several ways. Without guns involved, confrontations are won by the physically superior party inflicting overwhelming injury on the loser. People who think that fists, bats, sticks, or stones don't constitute lethal force watch too much TV, where people take beatings and come out of it with a bloody lip at worst. The fact that the gun makes lethal force easier works solely in favor of the weaker defender, not the stronger attacker. If both are armed, the field is level. The gun is the only weapon that's as lethal in the hands of an octogenarian as it is in the hands of a weight lifter. It simply wouldn't work as well as a force equalizer if it wasn't both lethal and easily employable. When I carry a gun, I don't do so because I am looking for a fight, but because I'm looking to be left alone. The gun at my side means that I cannot be forced, only persuaded. I don't carry it because I'm afraid, but because it enables me to be unafraid. It doesn't limit the actions of those who would interact with me through reason, only the actions of those who would do so by force. It removes force from the equation... and that's why carrying a gun is a civilized act. by Marko Kloos writing as Maj. L. Caudill USMC (Ret)

Never had an issue with the soft top myself but I think I'm going to give your idea a try just for kicks. Normally I don't change anything when I'm using a cartomizer.

While I'm not a doctor I doubt its enough to fill you lungs. I can't give an exact medical responce but vaping has been around almost 5 years now, if this was the case something would have come up by now. We do know however without a shadow of a doubt the smoking does cause cancer

We chose to hand exclusivity of Vaprlife products back to Varplife. As for the sub forum, suppliers are not on contract and have the opportunity to seek other venues if desired

E Liquid has a shelf life of about 2 years if stored correctly according to most manufactures. You should store E Liquid at room temperature, between 60 and 84 degrees F. Store away from heat, moisture, and light.

When Did You Realize That Vaping Was For You?
Christopher replied to Kodiak's topic in General Vaping Discussion
From me personally it was back when the "Penstyle" model was the cool unit Compared to the smaller units out at the time the Penstyle created a decent amount of Vapor. Then of course the 510 came a long and really sealed the deal. -
You also help support forums like this
-
That is true. It will cause the sensor plate to pull back faster. When blocking the holes just be sure to keep an eye on the atomizer to make sure it doesn't get to hot
-
The 302 is a "Penstyle" electronic cigarette create by Joye Tech. It looks a bit like this There is also the 304 edition which is also made by Joye. The only difference is the placement of the air holes. There of course is ALSO the 801 which is another Penstyle model just created by a different manufacture. (Ford - Chevy if you will) This is a first generation electronic cigarette and very out dated. The parts are not interchangeable with the 510. While the atomizer used on this model works great on custom modifications the actual model itself isn't a very good model. (At least not anymore) I would suggest you take a look at the Joye eGo which is a much much better model. It has battery life upwards of 12 hours (versus maybe 2 hours at most with the Penstyle) It also has add ons that can be purchased such as cartomizers, low resistance atomizers etc

This Forum Is Too Informative
Christopher replied to twilightbloom's topic in General Vaping Discussion
It's normal for the 510 to only last about an hour or two depending how much you vape. Hence the reason the Joye eGo was created. The eGo will normally get about 11 hours with heavy vaping. I use cartomizers and I usually stop using them after about 4 days. They are designed to last about 200-400 puffs but you can stretch them much longer. -
All Joye Tech low resistance atomizers have LR on the bottom of them.
-
I've used them and I'm not a fan to be honest. I think I'd rather use a LR atty or cartomizer. The large atomizers just leak everywhere. It also goes back to the same old problem we used to have. The problem with Penstyle atomizers (which is pretty much what the jumbo ego atomizer is) Is that the liquid never wicks correctly. You end up having to change out the wicking for something better etc. You end up going backwards rather than forwards. Personally I think your better off sticking with either a cartomizer or standard atomizer (direct dripping) My 2 cents

I may lower the post count on the mosh pit actually. One thing to keep in mind is that not all suppliers (especially the bargain suppliers) sell genuine Joye products. While some people think I'm a Joye Fan boy (and I suppose I am) you just can't beat their quality. The reason your Totally Wicked products lasted as long as they did is because TW sells Joye and only Joye. Some other cheap suppliers sell look a likes that don't always work great. I suggest taking a look at this article I created here: http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/Home/index.php/vapor-talk/interesting-info/100-fake-electronic-cigarettes It will give you incite into what to look for when buying online. Sorry to hear you got screwed but at least now we can give you the information to stop this from happening again.

Whoops I didn't realize the kit had mega batteries As the other members have stated the Joye Ego really is awesome
