  1. oh I have no doubt if electronic cigarettes became fully "approved" that prices would sky rocket. Eventually big companies would end up taking over, bottled liquid would be removed due to "safety concerns" (harder to tax) and of course regulation. It would end up being a cartomizer only ecig world. Tax would be per pack.
  2. If you over fill the cartomizer there is a couple of tricks that I use 1. Take off the top and push some tissue inside. That will suck up the extra liquid. 2. Place a tissue over the top of the mouth piece, take a quick hard drag. You will see the extra liquid hit the tissue. Repeat until no more liquid comes out.
  3. oh what a Cutie, ha! I just now understood her username. I was thinking to myself, hmmm what a weird name. Clever...
  4. Welcome to the forum! Let me answer your questions Not usually no. However the FDA has been on us pretty hard as of late. A large shipment of eGo's and Joye 510's where seized in customs. It takes months, if at all, to get a shipment released. We have more starter kits on the way but they are about 2-3 weeks out. Yes those cartomizers will work with the eGo and Joye 510. You really caught us at a bad time We have shipments on the way. We don't give the exact release date because the FDA loves to cruise around our forum I would suggest looking at our supplier list located above. (Click on the menu bar that says "suppliers") Different suppliers sell different cartomizers. Usually if it says "510" it will work with both the Joye 510 and Joye eGo has they use the same fitting. The 510 is pretty light although you won't hold it like a cigarette. You'll develop your own personal way to hold the e cigarette. The eGo is heavier but we're not talking much here. Don't let the size fool you. It's quite comfortable to use. It's what I use on a daily basis. I used to use a case but now I just use a velvet bag. We have them in the store for a buck. They work great on you can toss them in your purse, cup holder etc. As for knowing what carto has what flavor you can usually tell just by smelling the cartomizer Hope that helps!
  5. You are correct it is per ML. But you have to remember a bottle doesn't go in one day. It usually takes a person almost a week to vape an entire bottle. Take 24mg for example. (The highest strength most responsible suppliers sell) That's 240mg of nicotine. Spread over 7 days that's about 60mg 34.28 mg a day. A cigarette has about 3-4mg of nicotine. Take 20 in a pack and your looking at about 80mg of nicotine. So in actuality your probably taking in less nicotine.
  6. Moving to news area (already posted)
  7. My cartos only get hot on high voltages devices usually. Other than that the carto's we use don't really seem to get all that hot. (At least for me) I'd say I get 1 bad for every 10 I use. Even at that the bad one isn't that bad. Considering how cheap they are, next to atomizers, a bad one here or there isn't all that big of a deal. (Quality control is much better than it used to be) Another important thing is to make sure that you keep your cartomizer moist but don't over fill them. If you find your self getting liquid in your mouth the cartomizer is too full. (This is a pretty common mistake)
  8. You know what the of the biggest problems with the Joye 306 way back when was the fact that the cart life sucked. The battery life of course wasn't great but it was one of the smallest ecigs you could buy that was actually worth it's money. Makes me wonder if we should bring it back now that they have 306 cartos.
  9. Lily, create an account on the VT store and I'll send ya a bottle of Dulcis on the house
  10. Yes other than the warranty they are both exactly the same
  11. I would like note though that I hear their high resistance atomizers for custom mods work well. (At least its something!)
  12. Yes I do. SLB batteries tend to have more issues than Joye Tech does. This is why Joy Tech is as big as they are. Because they take them time to QC their hardware. Any supplier that's been around for a while (newer suppliers or start ups will argue otherwise) will usually tell you that other than perhaps the 901, SLB's quality control has really gone down hill.
  13. Silabo actually creates their version of the eGo (The same guys that make the "knock off" 510) Joye Tech suppliers normally sell the eGo for about 70 bucks. If the price is less it's probably an SLB. As for Janty, they usually create the model and Joye manufactures it for them. After a certain amount of time (whatever they have agreed upon) the generic version is released to other suppliers such as Vapor Talk.
  14. While you can stretch cartomizets for quite a long time, remember the fiber inside wasn't designed to be burned to a crisp. You'll notice the carto turn brown in the middle after a while, it's at this point you are probably best to change it out. It's just not worth the potential to inadvertently inhale anything toxic.
  15. My brother just got back from Afghanistan, some bad stuff going on over there. Amazing what hasn't made it to the press..
  16. There are none that I"m aware of. The reason I assume this has not been done is because it wouldn't be automated. Your constantly buying vaping products so you would need to update it daily. This would also be more information stored in the database, of which, someone needs to host at not cost to the user
  17. It takes a little while for your brain to associate nicotine with the electronic cigarette. You'll notice this most when you become angry. Let's say you get in an argument with your co worker, spouse, girlfriend , lover etc... Your going to want to jump for the cigarette. Why? Because you've been doing it for years. If you force yourself to vape, your brain will think "ahh, this does the same thing" and before you know it, the next time a day doesn't feel so great, you'll want your electronic cigarette. As for others smoking around you, the urge will pass in time (a short time too) You'll pull out your e cigarette without a cigarette ever crossing your mind.
  18. Have you spoken to a lawyer that specializes in this field? I am also adopted so I can understand why this would be so frustrating to you. Do your parents not have any information?
  19. read the store here Looks like Oregon doesn't want electronic cigarettes...
  20. No filler? Interesting. In that case it's basically an atomizers but they've raised the heating coil higher. What stops the liquid from leaking out?
  21. Interesting. I can't see exactly what they've done as the pictures don't blow up but looking at the second picture you can see a standard atomizer coil. (Notice the standard metal rap around the wick) How that's connected to the fiber is what I wonder.
