  1. This is just part of the good ol' United States mail service. It may have been mis scanned, re scanned. This happens from time to time. You'll know it's on the way once it actually shows it's in your local zip code.
  2. If you have not already read this letter, take a look. It was sent to the ECA the day the FDA started sending out cease and desist letters. (The ECA is no longer operational last we heard due to financial reasons, I have a feeling the FDA is unaware) http://www.fda.gov/downloads/Drugs/GuidanceCompianceRegulatoryInformation/UCM225263.pdf Looks like they are classifying the electronic cigarette a drug delivery device even before the lawsuit is over. Hold on to your seats suppliers.
  3. Yup the silver cartomizers (soft top) are the only way to go
  4. All of our order usually ship within 12 hours and often times faster
  5. Most suppliers do not take PayPal due to their Terms of Service. PayPal will not allow any transaction involving electronic cigarettes it the United States.
  6. I made this video at the start of the year, but given the recent news with the FDA I thought I'd re post it up again for some motivation. Some of the new members may not have seen the video. Enjoy
  7. It's always best to be sure not to overfill your carts/cartomizers and always wipe excess liquid with a paper towel or baby wipe Eventually, I have no doubt, bottled liquid will cease to exist in the future. My guess is, cartomizers will be the ultimate future of electronic cigarettes for safety reasons.
  8. wow, this looks like it hurt so bad... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xMBYvKFdeiE
  9. Not off the top of my head no. But, if she wants something simple I would go with a cartomizer model. If you purchase pre filled cartomizers for her there is very little she will need to do. Cartomizer models are 2 peice and require the user to only attached the cartomizer to the battery. Once the cartomizer is empty, she can toss it in the trash. Another great thing about cartomizer models is the fact that she can use auto batteries without much worry. (Cartomizers do not leak into the battery) I would suggest looking at a KR808 model or an eGo with pre filled cartomizer. This is about as simple and easy as you get
  10. Nicotine is a poison and yes if a large enough amount ends up on your skin it could become dangerous. This is the reason we no longer how low the discussion of high strength nicotine mixing on the forum.
  11. It's honestly better to go with the manual. The auto batteries are nice but they have a hole in the top of the battery to allow for the censor to sense when you inhale. The problem is, the liquid will often times end up going into that hole. This will cause the battery to malfunction over time. But when you have a manual battery the hole is sealed because you control the unit instead. The battery will instead last the life of the lithium battery rather than depend on the sensor. (manually batteries are also better for direct dripping)
  12. If you could actually get the secret service to allow the president to accept an electronic cigarette, I'd send him kits monthly no charge. The problem is, getting once of the most powerful political figures to accept a gift from some random business. They send an arsenal of 30+ vehicles just when the guy wants a hot dog from Costco lol.
  13. I like the butter idea but, once it hits the building it will probably mix with dirt and possibly paint chips from the building, that would make it a new unapproved drug.
  14. It's ok nobody notices the red box. It's a joke here at the office.
  15. No there where 5 letters sent out which you can read: here The first 5 companies on the list are the electronic cigarettes companies currently involved.
  16. The link to the FDA's email is in a giant red box on the top of every page of the forum Also we want to be very careful with the "I quit smoking" thing. The REASON the FDA wants electronic cigarettes pulled off the market is BECAUSE people are saying they are using them as a quit product. We want the ecig as an alternative to tobacco not a quit product.
  17. More supplier need to add warnings agree. We require that certified suppliers at least require an 18 and up warning but other than that most suppliers don't add a warning. Our store contains the following and ALWAYS has since the site was opened It's also part of our terms when a customer checks out. (All customers must agree to the terms) To top that off we also added warning on our bottles (VERY few suppliers have warnings on their bottles) It's time suppliers started to jump on the band wagon already. For their own protection at least.
  18. I'm going to leave the post for now as I don't want to become the next FDA, but I was informed this morning that apparently there is a US law forbidding the mixing of nicotine (of any kind) above 40mg. I don't have the law in hand but I"m trying to track it down.
  19. Please note that it is extremely important you are qualified to mix nicotine before purchasing such high nicotine strengths. For legal reasons I Would ask that ANY DIY post be kept only in the DIY section. Suppliers selling such high strengths is part of the reason this industry needs regulation.
  20. Yea that sounds about right. Our last quote was for 75k per batch.
  21. I don't think anyone should panic yet, but I do think we should be fully aware of what's going on. We should also closely watch the NJOY vs. FDA case coming up the 28th of this month. While the FDA isn't targeting hardware publicly, they are seizing hardware in customs under the pretense that hardware is "A drug delivery device." EDIT: I'm also going to move this to the general discussion area
  22. QT makes an excellent point. One of the main reasons the FDA is going after electronic cigarette companies is due to A. Unsupported health claims B. Un supported claims the electronic cigarette is a quite smoking product. While most, if not all of us, no longer use traditional tobacco, we are still dependent upon nicotine and cannot technically under the currently law, call electronic cigarette a quit product. Not without years of human and clinical studies.
  23. Hmm interesting and I admire the fast response. So as a user pointed out yesterday, it woulds seem for now, the FDA is going ofter electronic cigarette companies either A. Toting false health claims B. Offering up a product that helps to improve some type of health aspect. This is certainly a difference approach to what we've seen months ago. With that said however: This shows that perhaps regardless of whether a company is touting health claims they may very well STILL go after other companies as we've seen in examples of recent product seizers in U.S. Customs. I suppose at the very least their view isn't quite as cold as it once was but we must definitely stay alert especially, with the court case coming up this month on the 28th. If the court rules that an electronic cigarette, without a doubt, is a drug delivery device, expect many more cease and desist letters.
