I know nothing about VPs mind you, but with ANY electronics, length and quality of cable is a factor. Computer Networking is a prime example. There is a reason that big companies have several switches along the network path in their buildings. It's not because they can't afford long cable, it's because after a certain length they lose signal. USB is worse for some reason, it loses signal fast. That's why you don't see many long cables out of the box to your devices. IS the tape on my glasses showing?

Well I ASKED for everyone's 2 cents! hehe. And I am getting such wonderful advice from you all!!!!! It's sounding like the Screwdriver. I like the Ego but replacing the batteries and atomizers is expensive. I can believe it is worth it and all, but if I hit a bad spot and can't afford to replace them there am I on the analogs again. The Janty Stick sounds fannnnnntastic but I haven't seen anything written by anyone that's had it more than a month so, I dunno. LOL Janty stick has less expensive batteries, but folks say getting the atomizers on is a tight fit. They also say it's user error when things break but ....I'm not good at getting things completely straight when doing things like that I've learned, so it's more likely I'd have problems with it than others. I am conceited and all, but I DO know my own limitations and foibles. lol I so love the advice I get from you all!!! The DSE 905 V1 fell apart in the reviewer's hand... the v2 he liked better though not the cutoff switch, said it was sturdier - and the V3 I've seen nothing on at all.....at least not as identified. So it is looking more and more like getting a Screwdriver is the way to go for me. I can pick up adaptors as I go to try other attys too, if I recall. (I'll have to look again but I think that what I read) That's true with all of them tho. While watching the reviews I picked up that lots of people really like the 801 carts and attys. So All you screwdrivers HATERS ....time to put in yer nickel and tell me why THAT sucks ) Thanks sooooo much you darling people!!!!!

Right up to 2 days is very vague, which was why I asked a real live vaper LOL but the life sounds more reasonable than the hour I am getting when I am going crazy lol Especially when they take TWO hours to charge. And the batteries I was comparing to the replacement batteries for the 905 which are quite reasonable. Tho the Ego looks waaaay cool LOL There are adapters so I can use my 901s on the janty stick (according to the site) but really, my attys wud need replacing anyway so trying the 501's can't hurt. Snubber... great Idea... I've seen some of them... as well as Parked's I may get the TH I'm missing on my 901s from any of these I'm looking at I think

Right now life is good, but I run a small business, and it's a feast and famine kinda life. I need to be able to afford batteries when I'm in FAMINE mode. Other than that I love the look and the reviews it has gotten. I suppose I could buy extra batteries while I'm in FEAST mode, but then I have to research the shelf life of these things. One thing about analogs, they are simple. no research ROFL. However, I think I'd rather BREATHE. So now I'm juggling janty stick, dse 905, and screwdriver. I'm almost afraid to look anymore I'll end up buying the WORLD lmao

Thats $60 US plus shipping. For a little more I can get a kit with batteries and charger. But I'm interested in why I would need two bodies? Other than the waaaaaaaaaaay coooool factor that is LOL

Hi Jeff! The EGO looks great, but I'm also looking at maintenance prices. I haven't found a price on the replacement batteries so I'm a little leery LOL. I haven't been researching the EGO much however, since I was initially wanting to stick with the 901 attys so as not to waste them. But I'll still have my sticks to use them on, so I suppose that isn't such a huge deal. I'm already loving all the ideas and opinions I am getting

Thanks Nana! How is the battery life on the DSE? The info says "up to 2 days" I'd be happy with one day LOL but what is the life in REAL actual vaping? Interesting note on the 510 atty too. I always heard the 901 and the 501 were pretty close.

Hi my favorite experts! My birthday is the 14th so I get to buy a new toy. The spade looks gorgeous, but a tad outta my price range LOL. I've been lookin at the Screwdriver and the DSE905. 905 has a gorgeous black version, but that version has no cutoff switch. I guess the question is how important is a cutoff switch? I like that although I'm spending more for a kit, I'm going to get MORE POWER (can I get a Tim Allen AR AR AR ?) and the replacement batteries are less expensive. So 905 is prettier in the black version, but what would be the other differences between the 905 and the Screwdriver? I could probably look at others as well, I mean it's almost time to replace my attys ANYWAY but... it wasn't when I first started looking LOL. I've been googling and searching the forums, and I'm not using the right terms or something because I am not finding much on these products lol THANKS!

I am not sure why anyone would start smoking these days. As far as I can tell it's not COOL anymore. Not only that but you can't do it ANYWHERE. I also don't know why a person would start vaping unless they were attempting to get off the tobacco they were already addicted to. Of course, that said, I don't know why *I* started smoking a zillion years ago. Not really. Except it seemed like a good idea AT THE TIME. ROFL I suppose if you were considering taking up smoking.....vaping would be a good alternative. But really I just don't see it myself. People don't start smoking by CONSIDERING their options, we are a pile of idiots if you ask me. LOL That SAID, I don't see the point of doing EITHER. If you are smart enough to want to vape versus smoke you are smart enough to know that NEITHER is a good idea. Right?

Sorry to hear about the setback, but your drill seargent description DID make me giggle a bit. I'm not the happiest patient on the planet. I was in the hospital for a month as a young'n in the Navy trying not to have a miscarriage.... ANYWAY..... I learned to sleep during the day because they ignored me during the day......woke me up like CONSTANTLY at night LOL go figure.

Well I smoked as a kid, but that doesn't mean I condone it. I worked fruitlessly for years trying to stop my son from smoking. The daughter I caught early enough to make her decide smoking was not fun. Course the first time she started suddenly waving my smoke away and acting offended I KNEW she was smokin LOL. Anyway that said... Point made. However. As your mother would have bought it anyway, it wouldn't have stopped you. Cigarettes have been NOT FOR MINORS for a very long time. It hasn't stopped them. It never will. If someone wants to be stupid, they can be damn creative about doing it. I have a feeling that no matter what they do about e-cigs and all, if kids really want them, by god they will get them.

My husband claims I look like Ally Sheaty or however you spell that. I never saw it. But at least he didn't say Granny Clampett or something. LOL

My friend is thinking about buying a kit. She smokes marlboro lights and smokes 1 - 2 packs a day. Tho she says she lets them burn down half the time. SO my question to you all is what nicotine level do you think she should get? Thanks in advance for your help!!!!!!!!!

Seems to vape well, until all that blinkin wears the batt down lol. Whatever it is, I'll save it for like an "OMG all my attys died" emergency. lol I ordered a PT today. I'm thinkin I won't use that atty on it since i've no idea what it is doing. I suppose if it was a borderline kinda short it could blinky blinky and still vape decent.... i dunno. However, the ghost one sounds waaaaay more interesting don't it? Oh and I did some math today. I went from 10 packs in 7 days to..... lessee, I'm working on my 4th pack in 2 weeks. This is way cool. It will be cooler when I find I'm not on analogs at ALL of course, but YAY anyway!!!! Teri

It is an automatic. No noises. I could go for the switch idea except it is only doing this with one of my 3 attys. I'm thinking something on the atty is activiating the switch....but then the question would be HOW. The only thing I cud possibly think of would be it's taking in more AIR than the other attys.. but it takes more than a DRAFT to make that lil light turn blue. So I think I'm down to how it is making contact. It's a MYSTERY. I love MYSTERIES as long as there's no guns or bombs or ya know....strangling involved. I have two attys that don't make it do this, so it isn't an emergency I just HAVE TO KNOW giggle. Teri

K. Battery by itself.....no blink. Different Atty.... no blink... so the trick is to figure out what makes THIS atty make it blink I guess. It's just really weird. Have I entered the TWILIGHT ZONE? Teri

I have no idea if this has been happening from the beginning, but I noticed last night and today.... On my dsc901 sitting on my desk, the LED seems to blink now and then for no reason. I'm sure the LED can't draw MUCH power and all, it just seemed very odd to me. Tried the pyramid mod... and love it. Now, since I noticed this AFTER the mod, I thought maybe my stuffing was too high and took the cart completely off. Still blinks.....so it isn't THAT. Does anyone know what would cause this to blink? I just took the whole atty assembly off and now peekin to see if it still does it....but I sure wish it came with a manual LOL Teri
