  1. Yes very good find Patches gum etc is big money they don't want us cutting into that.

There is no appreciation for the struggle a smoker has. I do not want to quit smoking. But I have to or die early. This is a great alternative. I feel like a kid in a candy store. My other half is in total joy over it for the ovious reasons. Besides, she is a non smoker who still loves. Now she wants to get married. (Damn!) I think I screwed up..... :o

  2. Again, great info find... I appreciate how you are really trying to stay on top of our topic.... It always amazes me how apathetic Americans are. They forget that cancer is killing us and mostly from cigarette smoke.

I don't believe smokers want to die from cancer or due to smoking cigarettes. I, for one, don't. We are addicted, however. to the nicotine. If we are honest, we are addicts, per say. Yet, the all mighty dollar is more important than for us as smokers finally finding a positive alternative. I have virtually no respect for people who are anti-smoking freaks with absolutely no compassion.

  3. Questions that pertain to e-cig users:

How did you learn of e-cigs

    How long using e-cigs

Were you a smoker before you started using e-cigs

How long you smoked befor e-cigs

Have you quit smoking tobacco products since

If a smoker, how many a day

How would you be affected if FDA outlaws e-cigs (i.e. would you go bace to tobacco procucts

Etc........ And maybe some health questions, or did you quit tobacco due to health problems.... or another reason

  4. This is fantastic! Absolutely the beginning of the statistics we need. What a great start. It also gives you a foundation for standards for your venture, (which you have already considered). If this isn't an indorsement of the highest kind, I don't know what is. I would like to see some investigative information on how close the good senator is tied to the tobacco and pharmaceutical lobbies. I can not believe Senator Lautenberg started this campaign without some strong encouragement from these lobbys. Either way, it is difficult to dispute facts like these from an expert with these credentials. Maybe you could begin a poll to establish some stats of our own in ref. to the smokers who have switched from analog due to a vapor device (e-cigs) and make it ongoing poll for statistic collection similar to the banner you have for how many days off analog. If the other forums jumped on the bandwagon with the same type of poll it couldn't do anything but help. This is encouraging information. Something else I can point to with others I meet and share e-cig info with. Thanks Again!

  5. Christopher, it looks like we may be going underground for awhile.... I for one would be more than happy to help you out with whatever stock you obtain for 'personal use' however large it might be. I like getting gifts and I am sure you do to. So do my buddies who are doing their vapor thing.

Gifts exchanged could be a good thing....;) I personaly am getting very tired of being told what to do in my own country by fools who are always trying to dictate what is good for me... Go Stearn!

  6. Wow... Didn't know all that.. You would think I would, smoking as long as I have.... Randz, the reason I asked about the hooka is because I had a chance to try one, one time... It had a strwberry flavor to it and very mild... I thought it tasted much like the vapor we get from the strawberry flavored juice and the kick too.. Just grasping at straws, I guess. In case we get shut down by the FDA... I am so happy with e-smoking now ant the potential of never smoking again, it makes me sick to think of not having it now. I need the crutch.... Know what I mean?

  7. You are probably right, but the tobacco I had was not processed at all. Just the tobacco leaf twisted and dried as it is. Nothing added. But I do like the taste of tobacco. I'm not talking about the processed chewing tobacco with all the sweets added. I guess you are right, maybe the nicotine comes from a different source. Veggies, etc. Shows how ignorant I am. My point, basically is that if we could find a way to make a procuct here in America we wouldn't have to depend on China. What is the difference in the turkish tobacco used in a hooka. It seems to be kind of moist. (Patience guys, I'm in a learning curve here.) By the time Phillip Morris is finshed with tobacco, it doesn't even match the original leaf with all the processing. Isn't that where all the trouble starts, including the burning and what that does to the product before it gets to our lungs. We are just looking for the juice and a way to mix it in water in a way that we can vapor and never smoke again. And I go on, and on and on...... Where does Johnson Creek get their juice or how do they process it. It's good stuff and I'm glad it is American born. I'll stop......

  8. All good questions. My grandfather was a tobacco farmer all his life. We grew up using 'twist tobacco' to chew. No additives, just dried, twisted tobacco leaves.

THis was how I was introduced to chewing tobacco. It would make most people very ill but when you grow up with it, not so bad. Of course I don't chew now. But sometimes we dipped the twist into maple or honey, etc. I don't remember a lot about it, but maybe something to experiment with when attempting to get juice. I hope I don't appear to be rambling. What do you think?.... <_<

  9. :D too  funny :P

I like the tech support person,

"hello, this is Tim Collins in Connecticut" Hmmm my questions is - is there a Connecticut in India, cuz Tim had what i believe was an Indian accent?

    Thank you for holding...

You know, I now understand why when I make calls for help, get frustrated, and ask for a supervisor, they always say 'he's tied up' or 'he's on another line'.
