The 1.1 software fixed the Wattage issue he had. The 1.2 fixed a lot of his other menu-option gripes (like into screen shows ohms instead of puff count if you choose it, also some of the timers have 'unlimited/endless' options to name just a couple of the upgrades). Still costs more than a kick or a vamo and whatnot...

Been a day now since I got the Nanos. Got 10 of 'em: and ohms are 2.5 on 2 of them, 3.2 on the highest one and 2.7 - 2.9 on most of the rest. Kind of a range there... So (theoretically anyway) they should handle up to 4.6(ish) volts no prob. I found the draw a bit tight at first but a lot quieter. I used to have to plug a couple holes with my finger on clearomizers to get the vapor i wanted. These are tighter like when i plugged the clearos. So I knew vapor potential was better if i took long draws. On a clearo i get a burnt flavor if i did that, not on these nanos. No burnt flavor but i do have to draw long and slow to get more vapor. Still better than any carto and they look super-cool, i wish they came with LED's. P.S. And I didn't get any whistles from any of 'em... Edit: I AM able to get a burnt flavor if I try hard enough at 4.8 volts.

Hello and welcome. Here is the most in-depth review of the e-vic I have ever seen... Enjoy, it's a long one but I watched the whole thing, I love his in-depth reviews!! So far only 1/4 clearomizers have had any problems here. I didn't like thicker fluids in them, however.

That mod looks seriously bada$$ love the bullet-head drip tip there

SS mesh in different grain, various types of wicking material, and coil wire at the usual gauges. Also food-grade stainless steel tanks/cartos for the "tank-killer" juices. Even replacement cartos with the 'lip' on the bottom to be used for tanks. I could also use some new banjo strings and a new capo... (oops wrong forum)

Thank you CascadianExotics (the Paragon of Python), your post made me realize I have not yet tried tobacco juices. I already change my flavors and nic mG constantly. So I gotta try some tobacco flavors, thanx for the idea. At least vanilla didn't crack my polycarbonate tank, I already miss the stuff.

Thanks again Tameiki!! I wish I knew it was going to have that high citrus content in the first place. Don't mixologists/label-makers/web-page-designers want to let the buyers know something like that? I guess that is something I will have to figure out. Thanks for the head's up on Mojito, anyway. That is a flavor I definately had on my radar!! And thanx for the Biansi head's up also. I was a bit worried about that since the mouthpiece/tank/cartridge is plastic. How about nano's?? Are they safe for cinnamon/citrus??

I won one of these last saturday at the White Rose Vaper's Club. Thanks Rob from BlueMist Vaping. And thanks PADave (on these forums) for (Co)leading it and inviting me. As a side note Fox News interviewed him at the meet! Anyway, I didn't see a place on the Forums here that does *Product Reviews* I only see E-cig, Supplier, and E-Liquid Reviews. Here's my Product Review: I had no idea what I was doing when I first got it. I lost the end cap on the mouthpiece (the part that fits the round grommet). I thought it was only one piece. Not knowing it came apart, I rinsed it down the drain in my sink. So, they come apart... This is AWESOME if you ever want to clean it (as long as you know it can come apart and don't pinch it too hard under a faucet). So I had to re-order a 5-pack of mouthpieces, but the box calls them E-Cigarette Cartridges. I got to choose blue or black for the mouthpiece. The Biansi (Brand) IMIST Atomizer is a beauty imho. I won the silver but she comes in black. The silver one comes with a clear/semi-transparent mouthpiece, but I got black for my replacements. It's a flat mouthpiece so I hope I don't get too attached to that over all the round drip tips I have. So far I like the variety of a different mouthpiece... change is goot. I just got the mouthpiece on Thursday eve and I had trouble putting down the IMIST today so now my battery is charging. That may be the fault of the Butter Cream Frosting from Dawn at: http://www.diyflavorshack.com/SearchResults.asp?Search=frosting but that's for a later review. Either way, I get tons of vapor and plenty of flavor from this atomizer. The tank inside the mouthpiece holds plenty of fluid to get me through the day. I have to guess here, maybe holds around a mL of fluid (at least). The reason I really wanted to mention this was because of what I read by 'nnote' from Arizona found here http://www.vaporcigzz.com/Imist-Atomizer-in-Chrome-p/atty-imist-ch.htm who said: Great piece of work August 9, 2012 Reviewer: nnote from Mesa, AZ United States Love this thing! It's actually turned into my primary vaping device. This atty on the imist 650 battery is so tiny and portable, great for short trips out and about. Taste and vapor production are outstanding. My only complaint is the wick that comes in it is a spot short, you need to push it down a hair before you put the tank on to get the wick to cover the coil a bit better. Although after a week of using the original wick, I replaced it with SS mesh (available here also) and made the mesh wick a bit longer than the original fiber wick. Doing that has turned this atty from a very good to absolutely excellent vape! I see alot of newbie kits out there that come with sub par and useless parts. This atty and battery and a charger should be what newbie starter kits are made of. This got my ears perked because I finally have a second atomizer that I can mod some mesh into. This officially makes it a long-term device for a (relative) beginner like myself. It should also be at least 'interesting' for a seasoned veteran or for anyone in between that likes to tinker. Btw, I don't find the wick too short on mine at all (as per the review above), nor do I have to (or even want to) pull on it. But all wicks eventually need changed I'm sure. I DID put a drop of juice on the wick before I ever screwed it together after I had filled it. Maybe that's all he needed to do instead of pulling on the thing?? It does not leak no matter the position I hold it. It's built very solid, made in China, and the label clearly says Biansi IMIST on the silver atomizer. Compared to the CE5 clearomizer and catromizers I have personally used so far, this thing is a class above that. At 3.3 volts it is quiet like: I can't hear anything but the light on my Spinner comes on and I feel a good throat hit. Above 4 volts it's snap, crackle, pop, and a (line of sight blocking) cloud of vapor. Ohm's are 1.8 on my multimeter. Well my Battery is charged now, so time to vape some of that frosting and say goodnight VT. If anyone else has used these atomizers be sure to share your experiences. I love to learn how to maximize this vape-tastic journey. Edit: It Is Ego-threaded so you need a 510 to Ego adapter if you are using a mod.

I agree with Darth... this chart shows what he is talking about if you are a beginner. Happy trails and welcome to the forum. Edit: It is normal, however, for the coils to build up 'some' heat if you use it a lot.
-
What gauge coil are you using?? I only ask because i recently got 33 gauge myself and want about 2.5ohm when i get around to wrapping it. If you did 5 loops I'll probably want a few more than that... No idea about the wicking slow (unless the coil is too tight) what grade mesh did you use??

I filled one of the XXXL dual-coil clear cartomizers I had http://shop.hotvapes.com/Clear-Dual-Coil-XXXL-Cartomizers-15ohm-cleardualcartos.htm with High Desert Vapes 50/50 6mg Sweet Tarts http://highdesertvapes.com/products/Sweet-Tarts.html And it DESTROYED the carto. Cracked it literally in half!! Just a caution because the juice tasted awesome in my atomizer so I filled the carto. A $2.40 lesson to save anyone else from experiencing.

Well I got 10 Nano's coming from AltSmoke. I'll lat ya know how they do for me. I got a lot of 6mL bottles of juice to sample.

Heck no, man, this is one of my favorites thanks to jeffb's ban hammer. And Rixter compares apples to bazookas - you can't beat that!!

I'm partial to vaping over smoking

Mega grats on that!! Howz it vapin' for ya??

Vision Spinner or Ego twist will get you further if you don't need a 'cigarette-shaped device'. Variable voltage will give you that "kick" some e-juices need. And mega-welcome from a fellow Pennsylvanian, welcome to VT!! Edit: I DID get a headache the first time I ever used an e-cig. It was a gas station disposable and I think it was too much nicotine. I agree with Synther you can't blame the e-cig when you get a virus.

I am new here and would like to know more. Cigarette made in USA?
ninjabat replied to annag's topic in Introduce Yourself
Well I can only speak from my own experience but a few companies here in the US that have their own brands include HotVapes, Volcano, and Provari. There are a couple vendors on here that I believe do their own products. Other people here may know of more but this is a start, anyway. I also found this: http://vapegrl.com/usa-made-electronic-cigarettes/ but the info is way out-dated. The places where I have bought my supplies are HotVapes (got the Bombshell Stinger) and MyVaporStore (Vision Spinner 1300mah) both in the USA. Hope this helps you getting started. -

If parts are made in China but it was assembled in the USA does it still count?? Welcome to VT and best of luck on your journey. -
Howdy and welcome to the forum. What's it like vaping in the tropical weather?

Hmmm... a NANO plus Vanilla Cake Batter. I need to try Sweet-Vapes so bad. I also like the bulk pricing at altsmoke. Someone has to compare them, why not me?? My wallet is about to commit suicide. When is my birthday??
