I experienced the exact same problem with my VP/PT when I first got it and with the advice given so far, you should have no trouble fixing it. It worked like a charm on mine.

That makes two of us. I really do like my Joker, but the price was plain hurtful and reliability seems to be an issue. (mine is currently in the shop under warranty for non-functioning LED.) I got caught up in the hype once. I don't regret it, the Joker is a good unit. The Joker part deux? Thanks, but no thanks Vaprlife.

Don't forget to change out the AC/Furnace filter too, you'll be surprised how much smoke smell they retain.

No, I didn't want to use another carto, as I really am not too fond of this flavor after trying it. I didn't want to waste a second carto on a flavor that I don't care for. I never had that happen before. Chris, your tip was probably the most effective. Thanks for the assist.

I know exactly the taste you mean. I've tried several 'cola' juices and VT Cola is the best. Doesn't leave that flat soda aftertaste. (the ONLY one). You'd still have to be a pretty big soda fan to like cola juice, it doesn't really work for me as I think cola should be cool, but vaping at 5v it's a different kind of sensation. Excellent juice, just not for me.

You got it. VG only. Dripping from the bottom seemed to work better. That, and a little time to soak in.

I just got some new juices in today from Vermont Vapor, maple and smoke. I seem to be having some trouble though. I can't get the smoke juice to absorb into a new carto. The juice simply lays right on the top of the filler and will NOT be absorbed? Has anyone else run across this phenomenon before? The maple went in just fine.

The Joker is a great beast of a pv, only trouble is, I don't want to stop using it to send it in to have the led repaired. The light went out on day 2 but still vapes like monster. This bad boy hasn't left my hand since I opened it. I own a VP/PT and it's been bulletproof reliability wise, so I expected the same quality in the Joker and ESPECIALLY at that price. I'd say wait and watch and see if there will be a Joker V2. Bottom line - I love my Joker but not so in love with the defects or price.

A few months back I got 'the whole collection' from the VT store and I was really pleased with the variety and flavors I got in the pack. It gave me a real good idea what they have to offer and if it would suit my tastes. I'm done with that and now I'm looking for your opinions on who has another great sampler pack so I can broaden my juice horizons. Anyone have any sampler pack experiences to share? I.E. Value for the money, least number of yuk flavors. I know it's all subjective to people's tastes, but there's got to be some good ones out there.

If you like fruit flavors, My recommendation is to swing by CelticsEjuiceShop.com and get some Hpnotiq. Unusual fruit taste (my guess is passionfruit blended with some others?), but refreshing and DEE-licious!

Just got in some Hpnotiq 12 MG from Celticsejuiceshop.com and let me tell you, if you like fruity flavors, you're gonna LOVE this one. The juices there are all made with PG and VG so you're getting the good throat of the PG, PLUS the extra vapor boost that you get with the VG. The flavor itself is just pure pleasure. Tastes like a peachy, passionfruity, grapefruity kinda thing. ( I know, really technical). I've had a few fruit flavors, but NONE like this one. It's fresh, not too sweet, and refreshing at 5V. Yum yum yummy! Celtic, you, and this flavor ROCK! Thanks for putting it out there.

On a happier note...there are MORE smokers out there just WAITING to be saved! I have not yet BEGUN to fight!

-UPDATE- I got a bummer phone call from my friend today, she had been using the kit I gave her and for a day or so it went well. She had complained to me of nic fits and that she was craving analogs. I advised her NOT to use both analogs and vape at the same time. She let me know that she had woken up and used her pv and afterward got really jittery and felt her heart race. The cartos I gave her were only 9mg and she had told me that she had been smoking regular analogs before trying to switch over. I gave her the low nic ones so she wouldn't accidentally make herself sick (exactly what happened). I asked her if she had also smoked an analog and she had. SOOO...She freaked out and called her Doctor, who promptly blamed her using a pv and told her to discontinue using it and just cut down an the analogs. Really. The Doctor TOLD her to go back to smoking! I really wish it would have worked out for her, but to her, the word of her MD is gospel and she's given up on the idea of using a pv. Go figure.

Hey Genet1c, I've had that problem with mine as well, but I've found that it was from me overfilling my atty and it ends up dripping onto the contact that the atty screws down onto. Using a paper towel, I've soaked up any juice that may have gotten under that atty connector and it worked as good as new. Might be worth a try. Hope this helps ya.

I had the same burning happen when using cartos on my Joker, and I found that it only happened on a carto that was borderline overfilled. Has NOT happened on my Joye 510 when using the carto. High volts seem to make a really filled carto pop and spray hot e-juice until the level inside the carto drops. outside of that, I LOVE cartos, they outlast carts by a HUGE margin and they make driving and vaping a whole lot easier.
