  1. I used to light up another smoke....while smoking.
  2. What smells good to me these days is a closet full of clean clothes. No more smoking in the house means clean clothes stay clean smelling. Never noticed that before vaping.
  3. All great advice. Farther down the road, you may want to look into other options for your e-cig to make it produce more vapor, such as going to a high voltage device, a low resistance atomizer, or maybe even bumping up the nicotine strength to make a stronger throat hit.
  4. I've been using mine pretty much non-stop for the past 3 months without ANY reliability issues whatsoever. I am pretty tough on my pvs but this baby is built like an old Buick. This Pv has been dropped several times without so much as a scratch on it. I use the larger battery and extension cap, and even with heavy vaping, I get almost 24 hours out of a single charge. Very happy with the performance, and in circumstances when I need more power, I simply dial it up and go hotter. The only drawback (and it's not a deal breaker for me) is the weight. It's a bit on the heavy side, but on the flip side, the weight reminds me that I still have it in my pocket and haven't left it someplace. In short, in my case, it has done what I've asked it to, when I needed it the most, and that's a great thing. Now, I just need to find a belt holster that will fit it so it can quit beating up the contents of my pocket.
  5. What about the bans already in place or proposed bans? Will proposed bans be dropped by individual states? Could a ban on using one in public places happen? Since flavored tobacco products aren't allowed anymore, what about juice? Such a soap opera for people to merely have a choice in their own lives. Nanny state anyone?
  6. For my tastes, I find the honey flue cured from liquidxpress to be pretty hard to top. The honey flavor is light and lends a great throat hit at higher nic and voltages, while the tobacco under it is smooth and satisfying. It's the only tobacco flavor I enjoy as an all day vape other than the VaporTalk store's Exotic Tobacco. Plenty of good reviews on this one, as I know tastes are all subjective. http://www.liquidxpress.com/Liquids/PG-Premixed-E-Liquid/Honey-Flue-Cured-Tobacco-E-Liquid-p83.html
  7. Happy Birthday Chris! We'd all be lost without you and The VaporTalk forums! Party like the Godfather tonight!
  8. Agreed, The best advice is don't start. Don't vape, don't smoke and instead pride yourself on having pefect Lungs.
  9. Who's gonna work on a "sweet dawn" dessert for Christopher? We can all sit around and sip Carmel macchiatos and grape soda!
  10. I managed to find the page with them still listed with prices.
  11. Thanks for the tip, I may be able to save some now that I thought were beyond all hope
  12. I had to put my pv IN the ashtray, as that's where I would instinctively reach. Talk about Pavlovian.
  13. Agreed, This will be my 3rd week waiting, no way I'm changing my order this late and waiting any longer. The black one is pretty sweet though
  14. I second that Chris, I would hate to be gellin' without my VT Tobacco! Can't wait to hear more from our fearless leader/guinea pig on any first hand intel on how good these are
  15. Sure thing! WASHINGTON—A U.S. federal appeals court in a decision Tuesday found that as long as electronic cigarettes aren't marketed as a way to treat or cure a disease, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has no authority to block the importation of the battery-powered products. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit ruled that the FDA's powers are limited when it comes to regulating e-cigarettes. The FDA had appealed a federal judge's ruling that the agency doesn't have the authority to regulate electronic cigarettes. In a case that tests the reach of the federal government's regulatory powers, the FDA said it does have the authority to regulate some products containing nicotine as though they are drugs and devices, such as nicotine patches and nicotine lollipops. In January, U.S. District Judge Richard J. Leon sided with electronic-cigarette makers Smoking Everywhere Inc. and NJoy in finding that the FDA has no authority to regulate the products and can't stop them from entering the country. His opinion came with a preliminary injunction that allowed Smoking Everywhere and NJoy to continue importing their products into the country. The FDA has seized shipments of electronic cigarettes, which contain nicotine and look and taste like cigarettes but don't contain tar, amid concerns the products were being marketed as safer alternatives to traditional tobacco. The FDA asserted its power by saying the electronic cigarettes were essentially drugs or devices that were being imported without FDA approval. Regulating the products as drugs or devices means the companies would have to conduct extensive clinical safety testing and apply for formal FDA approval. Smoking Everywhere and NJoy are trying to avoid that. The companies say their products are used for recreation and, unlike nicotine patches, aren't used as smoking cessation aids. Judge Leon's decision was based on a Supreme Court case decided in 2000 called FDA v. Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corp. In that case, the court decided that allowing cigarettes and smokeless tobacco products to be marketed as drugs or devices would result in their being banned from the market. That case "leaves the FDA without jurisdiction over these products under the FDCA's [Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act] drug/device provisions," the appeals court said in Tuesday's decision.
  16. Tell the fiends to UNHAND Christopher's shipments! VICTORY!
  17. Same here, We had both Rocky Horror Picture Show AND Pink Floyd The Wall as midnight movies for a long while. (two different theatres) In the Summer, the drive in theatre was open. SIGH. Oh the nostalgia! What a great escape they were from the rigors of High School! Don't dream it. Be it. Thanks for the kick *** flashback!
  18. They just keep on building better mousetraps to catch my wallet in! Hooray for innovation!
  19. It's funny you mention color coding attys, as right after I read this thread I was checking out another site I just read about on Vaportalk and ran into these, sounds like just the ticket! Hope this helps out!
  20. that while the formula containing these beetles poses no immediate health risk... Wait...The FDA says THIS IS NO HEALTH RISK? But E-Cigs are. Thanks again FDA.
  21. I can't get enough VaporTalk Tobacco, nothing else tastes like this. Most tobacco flavors I've tried end up tasting more like you are either chewing a huge, damp tobacco leaf or it ends up tasting like tea for some ungodly reason. Can't go wrong with VaporTalk tobacco.
  22. Same problem with mine, corrected it in the same fashion.
  23. and it was all done without ONCE asking the PEOPLE what THEY want. let's protect our teens from those nasty e-cigs, they could end up tobacco free! (and who wants that).
  24. I've not heard of THAT particular brand, but I did notice when I looked at the Dekang page (they make a lot of the liquid out there) that under available flavors they list things like coenzyme Q10, Vitamin A, Vitamin C etc...I thought 'what the heck'? I'm not sure what effect the liquid you're talking about gives, but I'm wondering about if this vitamin thing is something new, does it work? Anyone? Great question by the way
