There was some controversy about counterfit Boge carto's,I think they just got overwhelmed with success and had to use another manufacturer to help keep up.I have had some lately that take quite some time to soak in but after you get them wet the first time they seem to be ok.Just takes a little more time and patience.I would imagine high VG liquids could be a nightmare .

Take one of the rubber condoms they are packaged with on the ends. Fill up one and slide the bottom of the Carto into it. Then squeeze the rubber a bunch of times the liquid will absorb nicely into the filler material.

I'm thinking about doing that in the near future. I've been using the 24 mg day and night - I usually end up vaping more heavily at night when I'm sitting around and I'm having wild and crazy nicotine induced dreams. It is definitely something to consider! Being so new at quitting the analogs, I've still got major cravings - but it's getting better all the time....

Like Kitsune and Proetus said, I'm in the "go ahead and light one up" camp. For the first five days after I bought my first ecig I still smoked. On the fifth day I just didn't want them anymore. Then, a month or two after having vaped exclusively, I started thinking about a cigarette and couldn't get it out of my mind. Once I lit up and took about three drags that was it for me. Even now, after all this time without an analog, about a month ago I tried one just out of curiosity and was so grossed out I had to go brush my teeth and take a shower.

The answer to most of your questions is we are all different.Higher voltage or lower resitance heats the liquid hotter quicker so you get more warmer vapor.It usually does change the flavor ,some liquids change for the better some not so much.If you are just starting out I would suggest you stick to the basics.Get an Ego type battery ,there are lots of good deals on EGO tank types.The tanks don't work as good as other options but do work and you can ditch them when they go bad.You are mostly after batteries and charger.The you have to experiment with stuff like Boge refillable cartomisers,dripping with Ego,Joye 510 and 306 atomisers and Vivi Nova Clearomiser or Vision Clearomisers.Any of those should do a good job ,the tricky part is finding liquids you like and for that you just have to try a little from everybody until you find what you like.Hope that helps.Kind of overwhelming at first.

I like to buy 0mg of the same (this month's favorite whatever that may be) flavor that I vape a lot of. That makes it so much easier to dilute my regular 18mg flavor down even more as wanted/needed. Certain delivery systems are stronger than others, such as the RBA's, and being able to dilute the nic without loosing flavor is priceless in my book.

Ok so recently i posted a in the newbie forum about all the e-juice's & providers I had tried out over the last year as a newbie vaper.
Well my list just got shorter now that I tried some juice from the "Vape Dudes".

Right out of the box (delivered today) I have thus far tried the 'buttery nipple' & 'blue honey'. Hands down the best vape I have ever had the pleasure of tasting in my LIFE.
These things havn't even gone through my mandatory 5-day steep yet.
Just smooth, sweet, delicious....if there was such a thing as A, B & C grade juices...these guys have officially tested out of class. This is quite possibly 100x better tasting/smoother & just all around a better vape than anything else I have ever tried.

oh and i put on the order comment form that i was a new customer....& if they gave out free samples...i would love to try the 'ice flavor'. Well apparently they have 2 different types of "ice"... ICE ICE & BLUBERRY ICE. Instead of asking me which kind I wanted...they threw BOTH...both in 10ML bottles...for free yo! I don't know if this is something they usually do...but i asked..and i got 20ML of free samples. And it's not like I made a big order...i just got two 30ML bottles of Juice.

The only way I could be wrong about these guys juices...is if they have spiked my E-juice with heroin & I'm simply addicted to E-opiates now.

Also what voltage are you using with what ohm atomizer? Plays a huge role in throat hit. I haven't met anyone who ordered it that didn't find at least 2 or 3 flavors they didn't fall in love with. I'm really picky when it comes to juice. I vaped the same juice every day for over a yr. without finding something I could vape for more than an hr. without switching back and I fell in love with 4 flavors from AIV. Shipping right now takes a really long time though as they have just moved their entire shop across country. Takes 10-14 days to ship but it's mixed to order and well worth it.

This is some really good info. Especially using 0mg right before bedtime! I think I'll start using 24 in the morning, then a 18 in the afternoon, a 12 in the evening and a 0 at bedtime. I also keep a variety of levels and flavors, and now I totally get the point. Thanks guys.

When buying e-juice I will usually buy the highest nic level and use 0 nic to cut it. I will also vape 0 when I just feel like vapping and right before bed.

I get much of my stuff from ecig express...very good selection of supplies, flavors, nicotine, PG/VG. It takes a bit to build up supplies, especially flavors....so many flavors. My personal favorites are still flavor west and flavour Art.

to start: keep things simple....I use a syringe and blunt needle. some 3 ml bottles are great for mixing in small amounts until you find a mix you like...much less to waste.
if you have an android....I love the 'eliquid recipe manager'. very easy to use and can calculate multiple flavors.

This is what works for me. I have found that Wizard Labs is my one stop shop for DIY juice. You can do it 1 of 2 ways the easiest is just order pre-mixed liquid in the strength and vg/pg percentage that you want to be at like 12mg 50/50 up to 500 m/l. Then order however many flavors you want to try (they are only $1.49 for an 8 m/l glass vial) and add the liquid and flavor to one of your spare bottles. Most people start at 10% flavor so in a 10 m/l bottle add 1 m/l of flavor fill with liquid and shake very simple. Or you can order a higher % of nicotine and some pg and vg and cut down to whatever level you want using a downloadable ejuice calculator. I recommend that you order syringes and needles of various sizes while you are there also (very cheap). That is what I use to measure and mix with and have not needed graduated cylinders. They are known for the security of the packages, quality of nicotine, and great prices.
Also if you order over $65.00 it ships free.

If you order juice and vape it regardless of where it originates you should be ready to take responsibility of any consequences that arise from its use. The companies did not come to you and force you to vape their product. Its your responsibility to be an informed consumer.

I have visions of people mixing liquid in thier basements and garages when it comes to most domestic eliquid.While most of the components DIY folks use are safe for consumption when used as intended funny things happen when you mix things together and heat them up.just sayin....
