I have actually decided to pick up some cigars in the case that I run out again, I figure I'll still get the nicotine I need, see the smoke and best of all will not be inhaling them.... Still, just thinking of the smell on me makes me sick. They're actually sitting in a humidor that I've been using to hold my vaping stuff lol

LOL I've gone so far as to use a lighter with just the flint and plucked cotton lint from my sock to light a smoke, worked like a charm though. Thanks again Les Stroud! hahahaha

I was just thinking that maybe rolling up the pyramid bag and not folding it might work.... It might be just long enough to go from the extra space to the end of the atty.... I'll be in the garage Just don't tell my wife lol

Sorry, I haven't had much time to play around with my ideas (looking for work) But if someone else would like to jump in and lend a hand that'd be awesome. Basically you just need to cut the mouthpiece off of a cart and puncture a hole into the reservoir. Then I used a capri sun straw cut in half, flattened the straw with my teeth and inserted them into each air hole on the sides of the cart. From there I used a clear pen cap with the closed end cut off and slid it over the straws so it's pressed against the cart. (make sure the straws are air tight to the cart, I used a hot glue gun and an exacto knife to cut off the excess) Then glue the pen cap to the cart. for the mouth piece;there should be quite a bit extra straw sticking out just glue in between and around them to make sure everything is air tight. Oh yeah, I couldn't decide if this works better with filler in the extra compartment or not (I used the PTB mod and it seemed to work ok but when it got low on juice it didn't seem to transfer well from the extra unit to the normal reservoir) so that's pretty much it..... Just needs a little tweaking to get it just right. I was also considering finding something smaller than a pen cap that would fit directly into the cart reservoir and have the straws on the outside. my heads starting to hurt lol It's not that difficult just time consuming. Hopefully I'll get more time to play around soon but who knows. If anyone decides to give her a go let me know how it turns out.

Big thanks to everyone, I was going to try making my own 0 nic but my walmart didn't have the stuff (or I was looking in the wrong place). Oh,well. Jason thank you so much your shipping was excellent and I'm loving the flavors (B&H, Lucky Strike and grape soda) all great especially after a few analogs lol. Shipping took about 2 days so I Will definately be ordering again. It's nice to have so much support without going to some meeting or laying on a couch paying $300 an hour lol I love this site. Well, I ran out of E-liquid yesterday and the day before I ordered more from E-N-S.com.... Thought I'd be able to make it but, a freind of mine stopped by today (I've been letting him keep his broken down car in my driveway) and as "payment for storage" as he put it brought me a pack of my old favorite Camel wides.... So I gave in a smoked a few. The first was disgusting and I couldn't even finish it but then the next got easier and blah blah blah. I feel like crap for giving in, I had even dug out my old commit lozenges before he showed up and they just didn't do it for me. I know once I get my new supply of juice It'll be very easy to put down the analogs but I still hate the fact I'm smoking again. It scares me to think that if these devices are banned that I will definitely go back to analogs. I don't even see vaping as a substitute for analogs anymore but rather analogs are a substitute for vaping. And a horrible one at that. The only good I can see from this dilemma is that I realize how badly I don't want to smoke anymore, But I know I will continue to do it if I can't vape. I guess I just felt like venting and who better to listen then the people I know feel the same way about there own nicotine addiction and these wonderful things known fondly as E-cigs. When I first got my unit (which was only a week or so ago) I too had high expectations as far as taste. I started off with some 555 and it was nothing like an anolog but after using it a while and going back and forth between my 510 and the couple of smokes I had left, I realized how much better it started to taste. Now I don't even want to go into my garage (the ol' smoking spot) because of the stink and ash that's all over.... Anyway, I guess what I'm trying to say is that I didn't realize how bad an anolog tasted before I found my nicotine substitute and I'm happy to be free! I'm actually running low on niquid and need to place an order today or tomorrow cause I can't even imagine running out and going back to anologs while waiting.

I too am interested in your helmet idea. One tip though, use the smallest tubing you can find and keep it as short as possible. You wouldn't think the air in the line would make that much of a difference but trust me it will.... Unless of course you took a bunch of primer puffs first, but then you wouldn't get much out of a cart at all. I used a bic pen in a mod I was trying out and just that much air made vapor almost non existent....Just something to think about.

Well there's been quite a few places I've wanted to bust out my 510 and vap away but didn't want the hassle of finding a manager or just doing it then explaining myself when asked.So I developed a simple mod that I call "The Friendly Neighbor". Simply get a sharpie pen cap, some tape a pair of scissors and some cotton. Simply make a hole in the tip of the pen cap, and 3 to 4 small holes around the cap about half an inch from the opening where the pen goes in. Fill with cotton (you can also spray the cotton with cologne/purfume if you think someone will complain about the smell but I doubt anyone'll notice ) then wrap a little tape around the end of your 510 (where the light is) so the pen cap will fit snugly. Then you can hit your 510 wherever and whenever you want then simply turn it around and blow the vapor through the pen cap to completely get rid of the "smoke". Nobody'll ever notice you getting your nic fix. Sorry no pix.... camera's on the fritz.

I've heard quite a few different people say different things about how to get a good throat hit or lots of vapor etc. Some people like to hit it like a hookah, most fill their mouth then inhale. Some say long and slow is better blah blah blah you get my point. Well I've tried several different ways and have found that while slow and long does give great throat hit and lots of vapor it makes my 510 feel like a soldering iron! But if I start slow and long then about half way draw faster as I let off the batt. I get huge vapor, great throat hit and my atty stays nice and cool.... So what works best for you? Or do you have a different method for each E-Cig you use? How about different kinds/flavor juices?

Yeah, the color isn't great but I wanted to make sure the piece would work. What better way then to look inside, right? I'm currently on a material hunt throughout the house to make more lol I'll make sure to take a lot of pics and notes throughout the build. It's been working great so far although I have noticed a little bit more gurgling, but since the mouthpiece is so long I haven't got juice in my mouth. It's still going strong since I first filled it although I switched carts today for a diff flavor.... I should've kept track of how many hits I got from it but I guess that's kind of irrelevant.... I'll keep you guys updated.

The Mega Cart, This little baby holds a whopping 50 drops!!!! That's right 50, 5-0, FIFTY! And works like a dream when combined with the PTB mod.... Guaranteed not to leak, disappoint or fit in a PCC. LOL Needless to say this thing works way better than I expected and I'm excited about that. I'll be posting a "how to" pretty soon if you're interested. I gotta say this took a bit longer than I thought it would but then again I didn't have instructions. This was just a prototype and now that I know it'll work the final product will look much better (and not have tape lol) So, what do ya think?

So I had to run down to the liquor store earlier (for milk lol not smokes!) and without even thinking about it I walked in vaping. Of course the man behind the counter started yelling at me and I calmly apologized and told/showed him what it was. Luckily I was the only one there and to make a long story short I spent 15 min. talking to him about my wonderful 510, and how I believe it's much safer than smoking. (I made sure not to say it's healthy) and I now have his permission to vape in his store as long as I go back tomorrow to show his wife lol. It got me thinking, We should make up a document with the pros and cons of E-Cigs....wait....Is there any cons? anyway, and some FAQ's for people who ask about them. So what do you think? A lot of people have no idea what these things are and if I could print out a few pamphlets when I go out where I'm pretty sure someone's going to ask about my E-Cig. It'd save me the time of having to explain (if I'm in a hurry), better inform interested or ignorant people, and help spread the word. If we had something like this I'd vape everywhere, and when someone confronts me simply explain that it's not a cigarette. Put it away, hand them a pamphlet and walk away. Basically what I'm asking is, what are the main things people should know when they first encounter one of these devices? I don't want to seem like an ******* "smoking" wherever I please and just saying "it's a personal nicotine vaporizer not tobacco"We should try to be as polite and informative as we can as this is still a very new thing for most people. Thoughts?

Too bad he stopped trying.... I actually am working on a mod that could've helped. It's basically a bottle of juice attached to a cart to easily top it off. It's in the mod section, Bummer.

Well the cart still has the fluval crap in it, this is just an easy lazy way to refill. So when it seems to be getting a bit low I can just give the bottle a little squeeze and TADA! A topped off cart lol I wanted to make one for dripping onto the atty but this just seemed simpler and more (although still wierd looking) streamlined. lol for a direct drip I'd have to have the bat and atty facing vertical with the bottle on top. Then Maybe a needle attached to the tip of the bottle that would touch the atty so the drops slide right down onto it. But the mouthpiece would have to be horizontal....Doable, but even stranger looking lol. I'll probably make one just to do it. I'll post that one when it's done.

Well I was refilling a cart today and thought "if I could just attach the entire bottle I'd be set" so I tried lol here's what I did happened.... First I cut about half of my cart off (to expose the back wall of where you drip) then heated up a nail to make a small hole (drill's dead) Then took a wire nut which a small bottle of juice fits perfectly in and burned a hole in that. Then connected the two with a small piece from the end of a Bic pen (which was thoroughly cleaned along with everything else) then with the pen gutted, I heated it up and formed it over the bottle/wire nut with the opening between the cart and nut as the mouthpiece. Then for lack of anything better taped it all up with electrical tape. The result? Well, it certainly fills the cart up as it should and doesn't leak, it does draw vapor but the pen is just too large and brings in way too much air.... HAHAHA As I was writing this my son brought a Capri Sun to me to open for him and I noticed the small straw, a quick little experiment later and it'll work! works Great actually,If I say so myself lol well looks like I gotta make a few changes to this thing but you get the idea. I'll post a pic of the new design when I can. So all in all it's a bit impractical but who cares, I had an idea and went for it. Your thoughts?

Kind of a weird connection but my brain tends to do that a lot.... anywho, when I first read about your feelings on how other's see your "fake" cig it made me think about when the blutooth headsets first came out lol. I was one of the first people in my circle to get one before almost anyone had seen one or even heard of one and I got crap for it all the time. (the name "Spock thingy" stuck the most lol) But it was safer,more convenient worked great for me and I liked it. Now it's illegal to drive and talk on a phone without one (or something like it). So that's pretty much how I hope to see E-cigs turn out. It'll start out as kind of a fad (to others) then when people realize how effective and safe they are then turn legit (in the general public's eyes) Just a thought from someone who's life was literally saved by these products. I know I'm still a noob but I can already tell that this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship Sorry for the novel, I love my 510! lol

I don't remember exactly what juices I ordered but I know one was cappuccino and one was a tobacco flavor.... Should be here any minute,it better be here soon or i'm gonna start driving around looking for my mailman.I loved my coffee/cappuccino hookah flavors so I thought i'd give it a try with vaping.

If someone can make some McD's strawberry milkshake flavor I'd be lovin life! But in the meantime I think I'm gonna be using the VT Tobacco, I'll probably go ahead and get the VT sampler.... One more thing, I've seen peanut butter Juice....but not Jelly?

Thanks! I understand there's nothing that tastes like the real thing (yet) but something sorta close is a lot better than say Dr. Pepper or cheeseburger flavors.... Wait, does anyone make a bacon cheeseburger juice? I could quit smoking and not have to worry about gaining weight lol I'll be in the lab....
