Great Article From Smokefree Pennsylvania
Luke replied to Tektronik's topic in Vaping Legislation & Regulation News
Yes! I live in PA, and I'm so glad to hear that at least one person on the other side of the fence so to speak was there and happened to be from PA. And He had an open mind to see what vaping was all about. A+ on the article! Planning on attending Vegas Vapefest in Jan 2011! -
Geniune Joye attys don't have the washer inside them, so you may wanna ask the seller. As for being Genuine EXPERT 510?? hmm doubt they are Joye attys at all. Not that that is a bad thing the SLB ones and other 3rd party ones (with the washers inside) are built like tanks and work great for dripping!

Does This Video Not Sit With You Right Or Is It Just Me?
Luke replied to Luke's topic in General Vaping Discussion
agreed. -
So far I have had no weight gain, in fact I have lost 10 pounds, since switching to vaping. I find that my lung capacity has come back so I get on the tredmill and have started an upper body free weight regiment. Also using PG and down to 11mg - 18 mg nicotine strengths. So I guess my body is reacting differently. (In a good way for once!) In addition I find that all the flavors in E-Liquid tend to "trick" my tastebuds into thinking I just ate something sweet. So I find that I'm not reaching for any additional food. Anywho thats my experiences so far! Luke

Xhaler 02 "ad"? This guy picks up a e-cig $20.00 from 7-11 and was a non smoker. The things that stood out in my mind were "I never smoked a day in my life" and "I could become a smoker" That disturbed me as someone that smoked analogs for so long and took alot of work to switch/quit! Is it just me? Luke.

Hey all a cool bit of info I pulled of a website about Propylene Glycol. link here PG Website "The use and effects of propylene glycol have been thoroughly researched. It has been used safely for more than 50 years, including adoption in health-sensitive applications such as food, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, where the molecule mainly serves as non-active ingredient or carrier of other substances. Studies have proven that propylene glycol has a very low degree of toxicity. In the body, propylene glycol is rapidly converted into lactic acid, in a similar manner to what happens with with sugar (energy) in the muscles during sports. For the environment, studies have shown that propylene glycol is neither persistent nor does it bio-accumulate - it is readily biodegradable." Interesting part was the lactic acid, another good reason why you should drink more water when switching to vaping, I have had some customers (mainly ones that I find after asking if they drink water on a regular basis, and they say they don't.) report muscle and joint pain. (this may be a good cause of that). Anywho just some interesting info, and hey most people don't drink enough water anyway :P I know I didn't but I sure do drink alot more water now. Luke

Ya thats just not something to even have your kids mess with for sure, poor judgment all around there. I too noticed he disabled comments but left the video up, what an idiot. I understand that educating your child is a good thing but having your child do a review on something thats made for adults is not the way to encourge him at all, if he wanted to do a "video review" like dad does, then he should have let him do it on something child related like his favorite xbox game or whatnot... hmmm

Indeed its a shame that the government sees us as "Dollar Signs" and not actual people.

Question #1 - How do you know what a dirty hamster tastes like? (maybe I really don't want to know!) Question #2 - Refer to question #1. Kidding man, welcome I had a DSE 901 and the stock carts that came with it I did not like when I first started to vape. The DSE 901 IMO gives more flavor than the popular 510 for sure. So I'm thinking it just may take you a bit to get your buds back. For me? Taste and smell started coming back within the first 2 weeks. Food now tastes different for sure and my sense of smell is definitley better. Keep it up, it will happen. Just stick with it and your body will do the rest.

hahaha i love it, that is great! reading old opinions like that! and it turned out the were 100% WRONG! rofl.

I see they are trying to justify this by saying that 50% of philadelphia's kids are over weight. I live right outside philly, it will be interesting to see if this tax holds up.

E-Cigarettes Give Poor Delivery Of Drug Smokers Crave
Luke replied to vapersplace's topic in General Vape News
Poor guy hope he pops over here for some advice! -
Congrats on the beginning of your smoke free journey! Took me about a month or so to fully get my smell and taste back but when you do you'll notice trust me hehe. Welcome, and congrats again!

you can either by straight PG or VG and cut it with that that will make the nicotine weaker but also the flavor a bit, or buy some 0mg nicotine juice of the same flavors and cut it with that to keep the flavor.
-
Yup headaches can definitely be happining if your using too high a dose of nicotine. Also I noticed that PG liquid dried out my mouth a bit easpecially when I frist started, so drinking more water (especially while your vaping) but through out the day definitrly helped me in the beginning. And now of course I find that I drink more water as a whole, which of course is always a good thing.
-
Nice~ Always nice when doctors agree with us switching to vaping as well!
-
I got headaches in the beginning, I believe partly because of the switching to vaping, but i found that the PG base liquids in the beginning, dried out my mouth a bit, and on days I drink more water I had no headaches. So for me it was a combination I think of being dehydrated and adjusting to vaping in general.
