  1. ha! you did record our conversation! I knew it!!!
  2. Congrats on making the switch over to vaping from analogs!! Stick around, listen to the vaping vets who've been there-done that, and you'll be good to go in no time. eCigs are amazing, with hundreds, if not thousands!, to choose from. Happy Vaping!
  3. Do a google search for eCig Master Coupon Codes or better yet, do a google search for the coupon code to any store you're particularly interested in shopping from at the moment. They change codes all the time and have their specials. Like, if I were to go to Electronicstix.com this month, and buy a purple eGo, the code I enter will be different from the one I used last month and next month. goodprophets has the fast charger on sale for 5 bucks right now. liberty-flights had the kit on sale for 39 for awhile, it might still be on. (many reported bad chargers, but they'll replace if that's the case and you make out a ticket). Happy many tab browsing! I think it's MastiffMom who now holds the record with 14 tabs going while shopping lol.
  4. <--- can vouch for the Black Silver Bullet too. It's a workhorse! I bought it as a safeguard from the FDA and other arrogant eCig protesters.. the batteries can be bought anywhere, anytime, they're regular good old rechargables and they last 2 days worth of vaping like Nana mentioned. The size of the battery, 18650 is one of the best for using LR attys with too. Just don't use the LR's with the PassThrough or the stacked batteries. (Do NOT use stacked batteries until you've researched the heck out of why and why not). I bought mine at altsmoke.com There's a little bit of maintanence with mods... and the SB is no exception. Watch the DoctorVapor video SB review on youtube. He'll show you how. My next mod after this will probably be the Reo Grand or mini... depends on if I can order within the 10 minute time frame before they're sold out again lol. (ReosMods.com) Half the fun of mods, is the researching. Make a list of what you're looking for in your next eCig and try to stick to your goal. It's easy to stray from list... trust me! My mod list consisted of: long life battery, non-propierty battery, pocket safe button, PT option, craftsmanship, durability, variety of v's, 510 threads to match my 510 goodies, and difficult to lose in the tall grass or clutter. The SB fit every criteria~! Today, my mod list consists of: no cartos, no carts, 2 day battery, handle LR attys, craftsmanship and comes in purple... P.S. The Screwdriver is a good pv too! I didn't mean to dismiss it entirely. Because it didn't fit into my personal criteria, I didn't get it. Otherwise I would have seriously considered it probably. While you're at youtube, check out GrimmGreen's video's. He's a SD diehard.
  5. haha Nana, you know me well! I so do love my lanyard from cloudsofvapor.com! NightOwlLeather made all kinds of lanyards for all types of pv's including the Saber and others. Unfortunately they closed their doors. Leaford makes some nice one and now that he's not with V4L(?) anymore, he'll be branching out. I think he's with Bloog now. I bet he would make one to fit the Joker! Here's a sample of past work: http://esmokersmag.com/2009/11/20/leaford-lanyard/ I need a shoulder holster for my BSB... off to surf...
  6. Welcome to VaporTalk, Buzzinski21`! I echo the eGo for recommendations. It's an awesome pv that has awesome flavor, great vapor and a fantastic battery life of about 8 hrs of hearty vaping. The ScrewDriver is a nice pv too! To learn more about it, check out GrimmGreen's video's on youtube.com Grimm's all time favorite is a SD. The SD has many sellers, I don't know one from another... who has which one. There's more than one type of SD though, of that I'm sure. The SD will probably suit you well, as you are a light smoker and it definitely has more ooomph than what you have now. Good luck and happy vaping!
  7. I switched over to the eGo Mega Cartomizers from the 510 cartos, because of same problems. These will last me 4-6 hrs of constant vaping.. well, with cool down pauses to let the liquid reabsorb between vapes. When it's set inside my Lanyard I never notice any leaks or sticky fingers either. The first one you fill is the hardest. After that it's pretty fast and easy. It only takes me an hour to fill 6-8 cartos and most of that time is spent trying to decide which flavor lol. I also like the eGo Mega Attys and carts but they do need topping off every hour or two.. but that's kind of nice when I want to switch to another complemeting flavor for awhile. This too sits nicely inside my Lanyard. Sorry you're going through such hassles and frustrations. Hopefully you'll soon find a solution that will work for you too.
  8. Oh I better develop a habit of starting each fresh battery with a regular standard atty then. I never would have thought about that at all. We have a volt meter, and it looks like it's time to start learning how to use it. Thanks for the headsup! edited to say: I'm assuming that 10 is the top number I want to reach because that makes a 5v simulation right? How high can it go before it pops the atty?
  9. With guide in hand, I felt confident enough to make my first Cisco LR 510 purchase for my BSB. Thanks Brian!! I did it right right? (I'm using the one 18650 battery) http://www.vaporflow.com/products/LR-306-Atomizer-%252b-Drip-Tip-Package.html
  10. Exactly like that! Wow, you da man!! Oh, one question. oops, doh'! nebbermind. lol
  11. Could someone be a dear and go to a bunch of trouble for those of us who are ohm impaired and put together a nice reference table consisting of what ohm/watt/volt/amp makes what vaping pleasure. hmmmm, in other words, a 1.5 LR atty on an eGo = v vaping? A 1.7 LR on an 18650 battery = ?v vaping? etc. There are way too many choices out there with the LR's and the HR's and the Standards. Trying to remember which one goes with which one the best during a shopping trip is ... almost hilarious. Hope this is do-able. Thanks for listening!
  12. GP has them on sale for 25 right now (without cone, 4 bucks more with cone) in a variety of colors... black, white, chrome, platinum, pink, blue, green, red, etc) You can vape while charging, and you can unplug and vape the now charged battery. http://www.shop.goodprophets.com/product.sc?productId=174&categoryId=46
  13. Don't feel alone there DarthVaper! From my understanding, either of these is great. I have the one from GoodProphets and it's a nice thin device, fits nicely inside the pocket or eGo zipper case. The Tekkeon is larger in size and stuff. They're both great for different reasons, and I'm going to purchase the Tekk one before too long. (can never have enough backups, including the charging equip!)
  14. Everyone smoked. I was 20 something before meeting my first non-smoker. I couldn't believe it... a non-smoker?? I thought they were nuts.
  15. Glad you finally found your all day vape!! Have heard nothing but good about Geoffs blend and can't wait to try it too. thanks for the review!
  16. You're right Nana. Much like the stop smoking classes the 7th day adventists put on years ago. The sad and gross video's and slide shows didn't help a bit... but I did get to where I couldn't enjoy a cig without a glass of oj! With that said, now they'll be training smokers they can't enjoy a cig without the maccrabe!
  17. Excellent thoughts, I couldn't agree more. And to those with an AppleBee's in your area, be sure to mention they're having a free meal for Vets serving now or retired, either one and for both. Especially good if you run into a homeless Vet ...
  18. I hope your next one has a GPS installed inside. Until you have enough saved up for your 5v mod, you can pick up a nice 510 5v PT for about 15 bucks. (madvapes or vaporkings or maybe VTstore)
  19. Sounds to me like a ploy to entice the cults back to smoking. Shame on them!
  20. Thanks for the review! I've not yet tried Geoffs blend but have been curious as to the flavors entailed. Love his Atomic Cynnacide, even when I mix it with my 555 for on the go. Will try my first "add sweetener" too. (so far, haven't added extra in any flavor). I just wish they had a better addy! I remember it's not .com so I use .net and naturally, they're both wrong and I end up at that stoopid DAWG place grrrrr. And then I remember... oh yeah!!!! It's .us!!!!! Tastyvapor.us maybe it's not them... maybe I just need a new filing cabinet in my brain. nahhhhhh
  21. I love my eGo Mega Attys with carts and for direct dripping with the mega drip tip. Also love the eGo Mega Cartomizers for travelling and working. The regular Joye 510 is a good atty, and is pretty reliable. There's something wonderful about the flavor when a cone is used with the Joye 510 atty and drip tip. However, a cone over a 510 cartomizer is ... lacking. It's hard to get the perfect fit.. either too tight of a draw or won't go on at all. But, when it works right it's quite nice. Summary... I prefer the eGo Mega Atty with eGo Mega Cart held inside my Lanyard. (mess? what mess? lol) If you have a 900 mah XL eGo, you might want to check out the Cisco LR 306 attys and drip tips for them. It will simulate 5v vaping without ruining your 600 mah regular eGo battery.
  22. ya, the gold threading ones suck. I bought a cheap pack for "emergencys" and hope to never have to deal with them. I love the eGo Mega Cartos ones too!!!
  23. oh no! Did you make out a ticket? Chris will remedy that right quick!!
