  1. Thanks for your kind thoughts, BirdDog. You're very sweet too, like Nana. I didn't mean to hijack the thread guys... sorry. I should have shown more restraint and not responded at this time in my life, when Nana brought up the part about "shortening the life of the dog". I kinda just fell apart a little. She was only 20 lbs soaking wet, but her heart was the size of a Great Dane. That said, Let's forget I said anything and just move this forward... I appreciate the hugs, boy oh boy do they help!!! But, this isn't the place, and that's MY fault it started, and it's my job to put a stop to it so we can go back to the joy of puppys and life itself. All is well. Let's go
  2. I love my Nana hugs. Thanks Nana.
  3. I have one battery that those will fit perfectly lined up. All the others I have to leave loose like Jolly suggested. It's just a quarter turn or so, and still works nicely. Neat idea though to try to realign the carto onto it's own thread tho.
  4. I recently lost my little longtime best friend. It still hurts... and I still have to shrug or lighten my way out of talking about it or I'm bawling like mad again. You might remember her, I had her photo for my Avatar for many many months this past year. (white dog) She passed away from old age the day before Thanksgiving. Anyway, I just ran across a short story on a website sharing how they had to put their old dog to sleep and I borrowed this part to help me get through. It possibly might help others who have had or are going to have to deal with it too. Here goes, out of the mouths of babes: "People are born so that they can learn how to live a good life -- like loving everybody all the time and being nice, right?" The six-year-old continued, "Well, dogs already know how to do that, so they don't have to stay as long"
  5. Hey Snubber, maybe someone around here can interest Christopher :::hint hint::: Oh, they even have one that has VT logo on the diamond LED button ...
  6. NANA!!! I need you!!! QT and Snubbs are putting the temptation back onto the front burner.... (but no more talk about the lights dearheart or I'll smack ya upside da vapor)
  7. Oh no, poor Kit, has to spend Christmas in Hawaii. ((((hugs)))) But, serious face now, I hope he doesn't have to be over there for too much longer. That's the pits having to be gone for lengths of time like that. Nana, thanks for sharing your experience with the 801. That helps to settle me down. Whew!! I'll never save up enough for my Ali'i if I keep 20'ing myself to death lol. And, most importantly, I now know that it won't be such a nice present until it comes in a 510 mode. There are adaptors for it, of course, but that sucks having to use adapters right off the bat. haha, and those lights... oooooo so tempting even for you! We're hopeless Nana, pure hopeless. We can only rationalize for so long... we might need help
  8. such beautiful dogs!! These pics also bring out their shiny coats and playful attitudes. Wonderful, thanks for sharing!
  9. haha, okaaay, nebbermind the above post's ramblings about the 801... I did a search and the results hit my memory banks hard lol. Nothin' like a good old brain toot in the middle of an awe session.
  10. That was heartfelt and beautifully done. Mark might toss you a Miller light yet...
  11. We're hoping to see the movie. Hopefully it's a good one. Can't wait to see him vaping and the quizzikle expressions of the audience when the "smoke" doesn't linger or perpeptually emit from the end of it. haha
  12. Go Kitsune! Go Kitsune! I keep staring at the banner on top of home page. (put cursor on the #3 and it will stay put). Just now noticed the flashlight ring one is an 801 . I've heard of 901's and 808's, and 510's and 306's... but not the 801. I also get the impression it doesn't light up unless the atty/carto is taken off first... so much to wonder about. Jeff's right, we need a buyer and a review. and more info on the 801 cartomizers... how many places sell them, are there 801-510 or 901 adaptors? etc... Sure would make nice Christmas presents if they're as useful as they are pretty.
  13. the USB eGo will charge while vaping plus you can unplug it and vape on the go. The battery will last 6-8 hrs between charges. The USB eGo also lets you use the mega monster cartomizers and Low Resistance attys or cartomizers. It's a really versatile little vaping machine.
  14. +1 for Jeff too. Plus a Lanyard from CloudsofVapor.com Plus mega monster eGo cartomizers for the long drives without many breaks. That's what our truckin' family uses. Or wait for the GLV 3 to come out in January. That thing should be tough as nails. (it's a long fall from the seat of the truck onto the steps onto the pavement... we go through at least 2 metal thermoses a year lol). It's a bottom feeder, he won't have to worry about changing cartos at all. Plus it's a variable volt to boot. Has a nice hand grip and a detonator button to die for.
  15. I second that! P.S. I'm jotting you down in the top half of my top 10 favorite reviewer's list. Loved it!
  16. Wow! I just saw this VGO add and went immediatly to their site. My goodness, what a beauty!! It's like an eGo except with a stylin' curve plus a row of lights at the bottom that lets you know how you're battery is doing. (like the Joker did). ALSO, they have soft mouthpieces on their cartomizers (go to the cartomizer page) that resemble the feel of a real cig. Sweet! Here's the link if you want to see what I'm hyped up about. http://www.e-cigarette.hk/en
  17. I've fully enjoyed to the max 2 of my Mega Carts out of the 4 I've used. The remaining 2 were ... horrible to say the least. Sometimes the wicking material is too packed, too tight, and not much can be done about that. Sometimes, on others, it helps, as was mentioned, to pull the material out and cut a 1/4 off the mouth end so that there is less wicking material and better air flow. Sometimes just topping off every 20 puffs or so is good enough. I still use them though, because when they're good they're awesome! I get righteous vapor and flavor from these, and no constant topping off. There you have it... some of the carts are awesome, some need tweeking, and some just plain suck. It's that way with the little itty bitty carts too though, not just the Mega's. I've yet to have one last longer than 2 weeks of full time vaping. I recommend buying a Mega Drip Tip and dripping in between good carts. Oh, and I know of at least one happy vaporer who modded his by trimming off 1/4 - 1/2 of the fiberfill stuff, refilling, reinserting, and then topping off with a square of blue foam... the blue foam (for aquariums) is then pushed down into the eliquid and then pulled back up via tweezers. The blue foam drips better, while the pollyfill wicks slowly and refills the blue foam. Hope this makes sense.
  18. Five volt, sounds like a nice vaping machine. I'd like to see pics too, especially when held.
  19. Woohooo! Congrats!!! What an awesome win and even better timing. Right on!
  20. That cone was/is such a genius idea for enhancing the flavor and vapor, plus it acts as a drip catcher. Welcome to the wonderful flavor of vaping.
  21. Welcome to VaporTalk, MrTroy! Congrats on selecting a great pv, it's a fantastic little device. The USB eGo lets you vape whilt it's charging, plus you can unplug it and vape as well. Like Jeffb said, with any new atomizer you'll want to blow out the primer fluid, then reprime it with 3-4 drops of good eLiquid. (never let the atty go dry while vaping). Any time you're not using the eGo, be sure to unscrew the atty or carto to assure it doesn't somehow go on and burn your atty dry. When you take the atty off for the night, blow out the excess eLiquid, set a tissue inside it, and let it drip dry over night. The next morning reprime with a few drops of your eLiquid and you're good to go. We don't have to drip dry the cartomizers, just the atomizers. Also, take a tissue or qtip and gently swab out the battery connector where the atty screws on. (snug, but never tight) Happy Vaping!
  22. Welcome to VaporTalk, Emily!! The eGo is a fantastic pv, you've made an excellent decision. Vape on!
  23. What a relief!! We can vape as they raise money for all those overpriced tests. What was that 3 worded phraze G.I.Jane said to her commander during the test beating .... Oh yes... What G.I. Jane said, FDA!! :P ::::spinning cartwheels as I head back across the river for another long stay::::
