  1. A fun way to spend a Saturday. E-Cig Bubble Trick
  2. I immediately recieved a Form mail from 5 of the Reps, saying they can't review the emails because they recieve too many of them, so please CALL INSTEAD... as if their phones aren't ringing off the hook aarggh. Wish I had a plane ticket... My poor phone is going hoarse from all the incoming Canned Replies. Droid.. Droid.. Droid.. 12 to date
  3. They don't want to lose their dollars from the analogs, so they turn a deaf ear. We need to hit the airwaves somehow.
  4. I found this thread at ecf yesterday and it's important to act now!! As well as with the NY state! The NY ban is code RED ALERT, they will be voting on Tuesday. This thread on SC is a must read... it shares with us how the Reps pass bills without even reading them. Give NY and SC something to read. ACT NOW!! ECF SC BAN Thread
  5. The reps need to be informed of the benefits of vaping compared to smoking. They're voting blind in many cases. In other cases, they're voting with moral bias. Most of them are just following whatever the FDA shovels at them. Hurry! Tuesday is the deadline!!!
  6. Glad you're enjoying it! Like Brian said, it's a go to pv for the newbie as well as the veteran. I'll always have an eGo at hand if not in hand. Welcome to the more tasteful side of life.
  7. Just found this at ecf and thought I'd better post this immediately. URGENT -NYS Outright Sales Ban On the AGENDA Again They need us to fight to the bone right away. I'll copy/paste, I'm sure they won't mind: URGENT - NYS Outright Sales Ban On the AGENDA Again The New York State Assembly Health Committee has A01468 on its meeting agenda for this coming Tuesday, 1/25, at 12 noon. If the bill is favorably reported out of committee, it will then go to the full Assembly for a vote - where the identical bill passed unanimously last year! It did not become law only because the Senate version never got out of the Senate Health Committee last year. Here is the bill memo and text: Bills It is Section 2 (starting at line 37) that purports to ban all sales (unless and until approved by the FDA as a cessation product), while Section 1 only bans sales to minors, etc. While we probably have a better chance of stopping this in the NYS Senate, we still need to try and stop it at the Assembly level. And while I would normally be asking for snail mail, because that would seem to be more effective than emails, due to the shortness of notice for Tuesday, I am begging people to send either emails or better yet faxes, and even more importantly, to please find some time on Monday and/or Tuesday morning to make phone calls, if not to all of the committee members, then at least to the Chair and one or two others. Phone calls should go to their Albany offices, as they will be in Albany on Monday. Here is the full list of Assembly Health Committee members, and at the bottom of it you will find both semicolon and comma delimited email lists for ease of use: Assembly Health Committee Chair: Richard N. Reason: typo I (Yvilla)will be back with the list of Senate Health Committee members in due course, but we have a little more time to deal with that committee. And mailed letters will really be the ideal for them.
  8. I've never added extra to the flavors I've chosen to date, and they've all been just right sweet for me. (Strawberry Cheesecake, BlueBerry Waffle, Pina Colada, Atomic Cinnacide, Cappachino, and so forth)
  9. Welcome to VT, Ripple! Aimee's on a roll, I'll let her reply set in deep. Congrats on your eGo selection, you're going to love it!!
  10. <--- loves slightly burnt hamburgers off the grill. Also must have the buns crispy brown and black around the edges. But, Brick hard burnt? No thanks! I agree with your thoughts, your post. But there are times when subjective rules because our objective tastebuds have taken a bonker trip and have become distrusting. Suddenly, without notice, they've become exaggerated, dull, meh', blank, ... and some eliquids are dull the first day and delicious or wild the next. It's a difficult line to try to cross with adamant certainty.
  11. Dr. Michael Seigel (hope I spelled correctly) is conducting a STUDY on Vaping. I think it's in the Boston area. People are still needed, so hurry and join if you can! Here is an interview with Dr. Michael Seigel at VP-live. It's a must hear! (scroll down the page a little bit)
  12. Good find Jeff! Wish I had a business license...
  13. Welcome to VaporTalk, HotDamn! I echo the advice from above. The eGo for serious vaping, and the 510 for backup might be a nice option for you. (just don't ever ever charge the 510 on the eGo's charger or it will kill your battery.)
  14. Welcome to VT and congrats on your new eGo!! That's a great pv. The eGo's come in a variety of choices these days, ... which kit did you purchase? (carts, cartos, reg, XL, etc). If it's the original kit, it came with cartridges. They are called carts for short. When you opened your box there was what appeared to be a fully assembled eGo ready to puff. It's not ready. You'll need to remove the mouthpiece (cart) and open one of the new prefilled carts that came with your pkg. (5-10 depending on kit). Put that in and now you can puff away until the flavor or vapor subsides. Top off with eLiquid at least once an hour probably, depending on how much you vape and how well the wick wicks. Hope this helps. If not, just disregard.
  15. Here's a link to yet another thread at ecf: FDA at it again!! Tell your Representative! .... http://tinyurl.com/FDA-at-it-again
  16. Great to hear your sweet type again, Lori. Vape on!
  17. Last payday was the first time I missed out on new anything. Now I am way behind ... still need to get the Map Tank, the eGo-T tank thingies, Boba's Bounty, ... I hope I never miss another payday!!
  18. I use the 510 SR threaded LiquidXpress soft cap carto's now and then (with a drip tip for comfort and ez topping off)... if you can't find the 808 in soft caps, then maybe an 808-510 adapter and 510 softcapcartos would work for you until you eventually find them? Good luck!
  19. Woohooo!!! Congrats Jodie!!! I hope to have your problem some day in the future...
  20. The title scared me... thought sure Google Earth captured my dare devil 4 wheeling the other day. Funny stories!! Ann-all folks...
  21. I was leary around the kids at first... they were quite exhuberant about the roasted marshmellow smell (RY4 + Marshmellow) and other flavors. The youngest has been so supportive of my switching to vaping from fibers that I overheard him telling not only the Soccer team but the Basketball team too: "Don't be interested in trying those eCigs or the Goverment will take them away from the adults and then they'll be forced to going back to those stinky real cigarettes. Besides, I hear they taste like old chewing gum anyway" He has my best interest at heart... and now the whole team does too just so they can enjoy a whiff and play "name that flavor".
  22. MadVapes has a cheap 5v box, for around 25 bucks. A good unit to taste test with.
