all the vendors have to do to detour kids away from being interested in eCigs is to put Warning Alerts on their sites: WARNING: Ecigs MAY cause Bloating, ACNE, Farting, and other disgusting to a teenager symtoms. There goes that flat belly, beautiful skin, and "close" friends ....

I joined a lot of forums while researching eCigs... especially for the contests lol. But VT here is the only place I've called home and post a whole lot. It took me almost a year to post much at the big ecf forum. Like Nana, beleive it or not, I'm basically shy and feel uncomfortable in social gatherings of any kind. But the eCig is such a miracle to me and I can't contain my happiness and excitement... so although I am now all over the place (faint), I still call VT my "home". Once you pick up a Delrin type Drip Tip you won't have to mess with that tiny white stopper thingie anymore. (they're anywhere from 99 cents to 5 bucks, depending on color and vendor). You'll just remove the DT, tilt the cartomizer, drip your drops, replace the DT and vape away. So much easier. With DT on an atty instead of carto, leave it on, drip straight in without tilt, and vape away. (2 or 3 drops unless it's a LR atty then it's around 6 drops I think). hehe, I'm going to have all of you shopping all day! am I good or what. lol

Yep, definitely sounds flooded, Troopx (love your avatar btw!). You can blow out the atty and start over using a drop or two less liquid as suggested, OR you can try Prime Vaping until it catches. (just like when an analog doesn't light properly at first). I like to have on hand some prefilled cartos from LiquidXpress.com for times like this... even us vets have off days now and then where nothing goes right .... I recommend their Honey Flu Cured Tobacco and their Grape. (to date. Unless they've improved their cappachino, I can't recommend their prefilled cappy and I love capp!) I haven't tried all their prefilled flavors, just those 3 or 4 so far. I'm sure they have others that are right up there with the 2 I recommend. Also be sure to pick up some eLiquid in the same flavor for topping off. (and a drip tip if you don't yet have one. It makes topping off so much easier, even though you still have remove it and tilt it to topp off). As far as hijacking, chances are that the OP will soon realize that his also is flooded now lol. It's a learning curve. So, have one eGo with a prefilled carto to satisfy your fix while you tinker with the other eGo and it's learning curve atty. (for both of you)

My guess would be: Ripple, yours is too dry, need to add a drop to the atty and top off your cart more often. Troopx yours sounds too wet and at the verge of gurgeling. Blow out the atty onto a kleenex and then add just 1 or 2 drops onto the atty and see if that improves the vapor. There's always a fine line between too dry and too wet...

I hope they work better. It'd be such a shame if not downright sin to stay in the dark ages.

That's a good question, it's such a delicate issue. So far, personally, I haven't asked anyone. I stealth vape in public group situations, and openly vape when others afford me my personal space and aren't crowding me. I'm proud to be vaping instead of smoking and I hope others will be curious enough to investigate the pv for themselves or their loved ones. I'm not hiding my light, but I'm not invading other's spaces either. But, it would be nice to have a nice polite (and confident) way to approach business's and groups and I'm eagerly awaiting the many responses right here with you.

CASAA.org Anybody youtube nuts with a cellphone living in NYC??? Capturing those Faxes and phone calls would be a big help. Follow up at the meeting tomorrow would be great too. Anybody know of any non-biased NYC TV reporters that would like to cover a hot story and capture the Opposing Faxes and calls coming in at the offices? Plus do a follow up and cover the meeting tomorrow as well.

I remember rebelling against the theory that my burning analog was destroying the ozone layer. The anti-smokers (back then, they claimed to be anti-2nd-hand-smokers instead of the new and not so improved anti-nicotine-inhalers) were adamant. They were sending rockets through the atmosphere (breaking through to the other side.... ), jet fuel was everywhere, factory smoke stacks everywhere, my GTO smoking up a storm, .... yet they blamed my tiny little burning cig on the destruction of the earth. Good for him for bringing this point up along with the rest of his great presentation.

I agree with MiaFrank. Big Pharma has the FDA, ACA, ALA, and others eating out of their pockets. The States and Gov have the TAX monies to worry about.

Altsmoke carries the Silver Bullet for 80 or so bucks and you can buy the charger and batteries there as well as a PT and even a Dbl Barrel atty ... It's a workhorse. You can vape it at 3.7 or 5v with PT or 6v with stacked batts (but the stacked batts are not officially recommended). If you also pick up an enercell adapter to plug your PT into you can vary even more. I think the new Vv from Buzz is affordable too. This might help: Data Base of Mods
