  1. It's normal to vape more often in the beginning. If you have to go 2hrs or more in between vapes, then you might want to invest in a 5v mod or LR simulations to make it feel more like "smoke breaks". Here is an interesting study being conducted and the preliminary findings to date by Dr. Eisenbergs.
  2. <--- increased a PAD after switching to "lights". Yet, I feel for equal fairness sake, that the FDA and their backers should also be forced to tell the truth about their involvement in keeping safer alternatives away from smokers for over 30 yers.
  3. Personally, I feel that 18mg has more flavor than 24mg. 12mg is close to 18mg. 6mg is a little more flavor. 0-mg rocks the boat (with the right mix/vendor/whatever)
  4. Personally, I feel that having/craving to drink lots and lots of good pure clean crystal water is one of the healthiest benefits of vaping. I was a coffee junkie, now I'm a coffee and water junkie. I switch to mostly VG in the dry months... summer. I like a lot of the vendors for DD, like MsTsBakery, etc... but for filling cartos with VG, I like GoodProphets. They have pretty much perfcted a thin line of VG without loosing flavor. I like their 555 and ry4 and can't wait to try their TurboSmog ... etc. My point, though, is that VG will let us walk & play without dying of thirst ...
  5. I wonder if being on the new VaporBar toolbar has helped too? It's neat seeing new old faces swinging on through.
  6. Gosh, guys, I'd tell ya, ... but then I'd have to kill ya... at least that's what I think the pod... ooooops :::running like mad before birddog catches me::::
  7. Cheshyl, try purchasing some 0nic in the same flavor that you love in the 24mg and adding just one drop of zero to your bottle the first week, then 2 drops the next, then 3 ... etc (or day or month) ... the most amazing and wonderful part of vaping, is being able to remain comfortable even if we decide to cut back on nicotine clear to zero intake. If at any time your body wakes up and yell HEY!!! SHOW ME THE NIC BRAT!!! then be sure to have a bottle of your 18 or 24 handy for those days. (but those days will become fewer and fewer, trust me). G'luck!
  8. You did it again, yet another great review!! I loved your honest, straightforward, pro's and con's take on this device. You rock, Schlitz!!
  9. Bill Cosby makes Chief Petty Officer in the Navy. haha, love the underpants story...
  10. They are all in my top 10 favorites list too, to date. (and I've tried quite a few different places over this past year, and still have a thousand to go .. poor me haha).
  11. Excellent review!! I hadn't heard of this vendor before now and you can bet they'll now be on my must buy list. Thanks! <--- loves a good apple flavor
  12. Oh oh oh!! David Goeritz(sp) (dang, I forgot how to spell) who used to be one of the "Winston Man" commercial guys just mentioned on the radio (vpLive) that Obama uses an eCig and munches celery in his attempts to quit smoking tobacco. How cool is that!!! (but shhhhh, we don't want the anti's to pick on him too).
  13. I love this guy!! Go get em Winston Man!!! It's radio and archived, you can listen easily as you browze ... http://www.blogtalkradio.com/vapersplace/2011/02/21/an-hour-with-the-tveca He wants to gather an army of facts, info and vapers to fight these dumb bans and misguided propaganda against the eCig. March on!!!
  14. I've had bad days like that before... and did light up unfortunately... but could only handle 3 puffs thank goodness. I've since learned to always keep on hand extra batteries & attys (back ups x Nana advice) and to always have on hand some prefilled cartomizers. I now reach for a new cartomizer, unwrap it (the same satisfaction as opening a new pack of cigs) and twisting it on and vape away happily while I tinker with my flailing atty/carto. I really really like LiquidXpress.com "Honey Flu Cured Tobacco" at 18mg and their "Grape" also at 18mg. Even their "Cool" is pretty good for a change in pace. They have other flavors too to try, but those are ones I know I like and enjoy and can highly recommend to keep on hand for druther days and for friends to try out the ecig with. Good luck to you and happy vaping!
  15. Farrrrr Outttttt!!! That's so way awesome!!!
  16. It depends on the pocket, naturally. The avg shirt pocket, it would stick out, can't button the flap down to hold it. It's a tad heavy and will also pull the fabric away from the body. Pants pocket, it's bulky and on the heavy side and you'd have to wear loose fitting jeans and take it out before sitting down. (but you would realize when it left the pocket). Great for coat pockets and of course purses though.
  17. You're gonna love your LR no doubt. I stocked up the Cisco's in anticipation of a juicebox and I'm so glad I did! I love it!!! And with the JB it's so easy to assure it stays wet. (they take something like 6 drops the first time, let sit a minute, put in 2 drops and vape. Before adding more, let atty cool a bit). I'm sure you'll love it on your eGo too! They spoil ya though... I have 2 eeGo cases...the big black one and the regular sized red one. The black one carries my kensington charger, pt cord, etc... while the red one carries 4 eGo batteries, a spare DT, a prefilled mega ego cart in it's wrapper, and a few extra cartos that I filled. I keep my eliquid in my little keychain juice buddy from MsTsBakery... and also in the side pocket of my purse... Long story short, yes, the eGo cases are great. They're deep insets, and have straps to keep the batteries in place and net pockets to store other goodies or more batteries. Well worth the money. And they're no larger than eyeglass cases. The little one feels sturdier than the extra lg one.
  18. Both hubby and the kids backed out... because it doesn't have any warranty.. not even the extended ... and gamer laptops have a tendency to need replacing every few years. So, we didn't get it. But we did get an Asus! But it's not a gamer. In fact, it's the total and complete opposite. We fell for the..... Asus eee 1015PEM-PU with 13hr battery (8hrs of actual using time!) We purchased an Asus eee 1015PEM-MU with 10hr battery (5hrs of acutal using time) I blundered and didn't notice the PU-MU difference while I was in a hurry to skip across the river in time before bridge goes under water. But, all in all, it's a cutie patootie and we'll pick up an extra battery later down the road. And we saved 50 bucks for the present being. The kids took their money back and purchased an AC/DC tv/dvd combo with xbox port. Combining our efforts, we stayed on budget and didn't go over 600 total between the pc and the tv. Sweet! Long story short, watch your P's and Q's (M's)? lol Nah, just happy to have finally made a purchase that will entertain without having to use the generator at night. And we still get to play Black Ops for a few hours here and there... on sunny days. Thanks everyone for your help!! I truely appreciate it.
  19. hmmmm, maybe I'll start with some warm up exercises... got a pkg coming next payday...
  20. That sounds absolutely gorgeous!! and yes, very different from the others I've seen to date. Way cool!! hurryMarchhurryMarchhurryMarch
  21. Congrats to you too Ripple!! What combo did you order? Can't wait to see it and Nana's.
  22. How fun for you! Can't wait to see the pics!
