That's great news that your inlaw is interested. I feel your pain in the choices and dupes out there now. Just when we find a great kit with a great price we have realize that hey, it might not be a Joye brand.... aargh. At least the Joye 510 is the original Daddy of the eGo, the one who begat the greatest starter eCig of them all. So, you're still in good hands.... just shorter battery life between charges and without the other benefits of the good ol' eGo. I almost bought an eGo kit the other day for my neighbor. It's the drip set up, complete with atty shield. But I couldn't tell if it was genuine Joye or not, so I backed out. I might buy it for me though (as I have plenty on hand at the moment) and then give her an old set to get her by until she can afford to buy her own kit.

It would be nice if there were a "who's in chat" list. For instance: There are many times I would have jumped in for a second to ask so and so a question about the new whatever gadget that they just posted or reviewed. Or a modder how to fix whatever. Or ... welll, you get the picture. (i hope). I know there was kind of a list... it would say "there are 2 people in chat"... but the number was never correct, and it didn't say who was there. (I'm a snob? nope, lol, just shy).

+1 to OP!! and I'll vape to that. <--- has to +1 because I accidentally clicked the like button and it unliked my like because I had already liked it at an earlier date and didn't remember. Note to self: wake up!!
-
Sweet! Glad to see you got it figured out already and are enjoying the flavor and vapor. +1 to ViperRon on all his clear and helpful posts. (stoopid "like" button is too limited and whacky grrrr)

Congrats on your new eGo kit!! You're going to love it, honest! You're not alone on the "feeling stupid" ... been there!! done that!!! I wish they sent out instructions with these kits. But, not to worry, you have us!! The video above is a good one, and if you need more info, please jump in and ask away. We love to help.

Bummers. I didn't go there often, just a few times when it was possible to do so, but still, it's nice knowing that it was there and available, especially if anybody had a vaping question. It was also so awesome watching Mark make a mod! (I got to watch once or twice and will never forget the experience).

The Riva is a "clone" of the eGo that does okay for a clone. We even recommend those occasionally espeically for the budget minded. They don't have the famous warranty of the eGo, but they are half the price and sometimes last half as long and sometimes last as long as the eGo. Ya done alright Sweetie. ::::: tossing the tar:::: hey! who's got the feathers??? I'm plumb out....

Not Quite A Noob, But Question About Usb Passthrough
Uma replied to hrsjunk's topic in New Vapers Forum
The eGo PT is great. Mine is almost (or maybe even over) a year old now and still going strong. ::knock on wood::: At first, I used it at the computer constantly, but hardly ever plug it in anymore because it lasts so long anyway. (like others mentioned). But, it's so good to know that it can be charged on my laptop anytime I need to. (I keep the cord in the laptop case). Plus I have a car charger adapter cigarette lighter thingie that I can use. as well as a portable Kennsington charger. haha, bet you can't tell I live off grid. -
GrimmGreen (a popular reviewer) is stoked over PinkSpotVapor's "Kiss in the Dark" chocolate. I haven't tried it yet, but I do love their Outlaw and Lemon Coconut Cookie flavors. and their Jamaican Me Crazy is great too. (I'm still getting around to trying the other flavors from my sample pk)

Welcome to VaporTalk, LauelLee! Haha, nope, not an eGo forum! But we certainly know, use and appreciate a good eCig when we have one and the eGo is one heck of a good eCig even after we've gone through Mah, Ohms, Volts, protected, High drain, Resistance, Regulated, BF, TF, cartomizer, cartridge, tank, dripping, drip tip, drip shield, mg, ml, vg, pg, .... well you get the picture.... school.

I second, third, fourth, the eGo by Joye as well, especially the XL ones. The eGo-T is a good one, it has on/off capabilities and is compatible with the regular eGo stuff. The eGo typically lasts 6 months (I'm on month 11-ish with my eGo PT) and they typically get 6-8 hrs of use between charges. The eGo has tons of gadgets to purchase at leisure while vaping, making it a never dull toy. The Volt is a good contender as well. (smokelessimage.com) It produces great flavor and vapor, however it doesn't have a long battery life between charges. (2-4 hrs typically). But it looks and feels like a traditional cig except heavier and classier and they come in all sorts of colors including the LEDs. Don't panic, if you get confused on what to buy first. After switching over to vaping, you'll find yourself getting a back-up kit or two or three... There are many vendors now that sell 6ml samples of eLiquid. My favorites are PinkSpotVapors and TastyVapors. If you order a lot of samples, be sure to use only the light or clear ones until you have a lot of cartomizers or attys stockpiled. A good TasteLess Non-flavored VG is also a must have for your vaping needs... in order to clean your palette, or to prime your atty, or to thicken a pg or etc Good luck, get an eGo and happy vaping!

Sorry to hear you're having headaches. Luckily you have it narrowed down to a particular category, the fruit flavors. It might be the sweeteners or flavorings causing a personal discomfort, like a type of allergy or sensitivity. Personally, I find that any of the beverage types will give me a headache because I don't hydrate enough with those types of flavors. I need to force myself to drink water with those flavors, whereas with tobacco or deserts I look forward to drinking more liquid. Have you jotted down your hydrating sessions to be sure you're getting hydrated enough? I don't realize I'm dehydrated sometimes until in the evening when I can't seem to drink enough water for the life of me. (except on those days I get a headache, then I'm drinking purposefully). I hope you find the culprit and can guard against them in the future. Keep us updated!

Wow, check out this article in Forbes mag : http://www.forbes.co...ted-not-banned/ and please comment and educate those who are ignorant enough to try to fight us with stupidity.

It is pretty "coincidental" isn't it... between the Vote NO! on that disguised bill and the UK's Nudge Unit conclusions. I just hope they don't charge 2-4 bucks tax per tiny cart ... imagine what a bottle of juice would be if that goes through. (U.S. wants to tax ecigs like cigarettes and double the tax plus raise it every year). Scarey and heartbreaking and downright stupid. While we can wholeheartedly jump for joy with this UK article, we must be on guard at all times for hidden clauses within every bill taken to congress.

Vaping For A Little Bit Now And Loving It... Buuut
Uma replied to frosting's topic in New Vapers Forum
I agree with the others. Switch it up even more so. I think Salt does help in bringing it back, like MJ suggested. I know after spicey salty foods my vape tastebuds spring back to brand new. It surprises me every time. To combat the duds, I keep 3 pv's going off and on all day, each with a different flavor and sometimes a different nic strength. (Reo Grand, with 555 or other tobacco flavor,.. eGo,with desert flavor ....and then I switch between my Black Silver Bullet and Copper Q with fruit flavor). (Oh and On Sundays I break out my beautiful Mark's Mod with beverage flavor). I hope your buds awaken soon! -
The UK Cabinet office "Nudge Unit" encourages eCigs to help smokers stop smoking. http://www.guardian.co.uk/society/2011/sep/14/smokeless-nicotine-cigarettes-government

yes. (battery life might shorten with the LR but it will still work nicely). I think the poster, King, was referring to the juices used. For instance, 1.5 is great for tobacco type flavors, and 2.0 for baked goodies like Lemon Coconut Cookies, and 2.5 for fruity flavors like Grape.... and sometimes visa-versa! It all depends on the juice, the batterty, and most of all the user. I like Lemon Coconut Cookies even at 1.5 but my Grape at 2.0 etc... In other words, some of us have more than just one kind on hand in order to assure we achieve the greatest flavor satisfaction from our variety of juices on hand.

how many puffs in a ml? That's a hard one.

Congrats on your new lifestyle of vaping instead of smoking Cantus!

These duals produce tons of vapor plus holds lots of juice and if you get a 510-ego adapter then they can also be used on other 510 threaded mods as well. They're highly thought of, lots of good reviews on them.

cool and creepy both. But the range isn't very far ... wouldn't they see the blue light from that far anyway?
