  1. Definitely depends on the eLiquid, but on avg they have a good long life. I would suggest picking up a mega delrin DT (or epipemods fancy dt) if you like to draw often. For some reason, the rubberized DT that comes with it will change the flavor when it gets warm.
  2. TrippyTips are unique and gorgeous. I've seen a donut style that lets the juice in but not out. ePipeMods has some nice ones too. I have this one for my SB and MM with an eMDCC. Love it, as it lets me relax my arm at chest level, like a clarinet player. One of the reviewers has an awesome SS Spade shaped drip tip that I'm anxiously awaiting for. (vapingmonkey???) Someone from one of the tv shows makes them.
  3. Gotta love how he calls it likes he sees it. Spoken like a true champ, with honesty, passion and facts.
  4. Can someone contact our missing little dragon, Kitsune?
  5. Oh sweet! We can buy directly from the vendork's site now, it's on his website. Way cool! Dual 18650? I didn't see that. But it does allow for 2 of the 3.? batts and you can get it resisted to a 5.v ...
  6. Yeh, it's one of the best ergonomic buttons on the planet to date. Followed closely by the Silver Bullet's. The air holes are a problem on some, but easy to deal with. Some of them have even been filed out by the owners and do better. There are a lot of mods with the same problem. Even the GG had that problem. It's called the GLV-XL and he's busy getting his pre-orders out the door. It'll be awhile before he's caught up, and I don't know when his next pre-order thread will be, but here's his old one. GLV-XL I'll take a Lime Green one for a finders fee... LOL.
  7. That was on my long christmas list last year. But, I've since changed my mind because it's a P.I.A.. to get it set up. I much prefer the simplicity of my Reo Grand. The feel in the hand is a huge hit or miss too. With that said, I would kill for their GLV2 without the juice feeder option. Plus their 18650 model coming out.
  8. Nice!! Glad to hear you got your sweet baby back.
  9. You're welcome! I just ran across SteelJan's video on how to maintain the original automatic Volt batteries. Some of the tips are handy for the newer sealed and the manual as well. Toothpick, kleenex, .... rims and airholes. The how-to starts somewhere around 3:00 on the counter if I remember right. Video
  10. It's a good thing the Vaping communities and DIY'ers are always on the ball. This is awful. In fact, it's so ridiculous, I can't help but picture some ANTZ behind the managerial wheels.
  11. There is a difference. The Volt is a regulated 3.7v battery. It produces a true 3.7v vape for the entire duration. It doesn't peter down to 3.2 and oh so blue like most slims do. With that said, I have to change my previous post and say, NO, the batt life is not the same, it's better.
  12. Bummers your order didn't show up on time for your journey. A new everything is a great way to start a new life. There are a few vendors (brick and mortar) in Florida, perhaps you could stop by and not only purchase a new startup kit for a backup, but you can try out new flavors on the house. Here are two: Thevaporshoppe Totallywicked-eliquid Best of luck!
  13. That's good to know! That means I best stock up on SI's cartos as I go along, for my Xbox-ing and plan on using the Vortex 2's with my coffee and other "gotta hold a cigarette" moments. Looking forward to the review!
  14. Thanks for letting us know about these, I've marked it down into my shopping list. I have so far had only one duddish volt carto, but I know the odds will be increasing with each purchase, just like even with the Boges and any carto's out there. (they are on avg great, but those duddish ones are reality). Glad to hear your problem is solved and that you're back on Cloud 9.
  15. I'm really hyped now and simply must try this after my DC's come in.
  16. Congrats!! You've made a wonderful decision, you can't go wrong with an eGo! Pick up some extra attys and/or cartomizers. (it's good to have at least 3 attys stockpiled). Pick up some extra eLiquid, enough for at least 16mls a week between orders, plus the week it's shipping. So, 3 weeks worth at least. (most orders arrive within 3 days, but there are always snags when we least need them) Pick up a few extra Delrin Drip Tips. It's important to change and wash the mouthpieces (DT) every day. Going into winter, with power outages, you might want to consider a 2amp cigarette lighter charger adapter thingie. Have fun shopping!

    Hello All

Welcome to VT, Sonya!! A huge congrats for switching over to vaping from smoking and for quitting smokes as well! Very inspiring & warming to hear successful stories like yours. I'm not sure about the leaking problem. If you're using cartos or carts, the filler stuff might have died. (they're like a paper towel, you can wring them out and re-use them just so many times). Getting new ones is a good idea. Some of my favorite juice vendors are: AveJuice's Bounty Hunter, Gorilla Juice and Hype. Hype is pg and the other 2 are vg. BackWoodsBrew's Ry4, cappuchino, and Casablanca PinkSpotVapors's Cowboy, Tahiti Breeze, Black Mamba, .... their entire list of flavors. (strong and sweet). VaporTalk's Dulcis MsTsBakery's snickerdoodle cookie They also have many other flavors I like a lot, but these are my faves at this time. My faves change with the months. Sometimes our tastebuds go through dead streaks and we just need to hang in there until they come back. Trying the unflavored was/is a great idea, it cleans the palette. Salt is another palette cleaner for some odd reason... (eating, not vaping). I'm sure there are other tricks, and others will soon stop by and help. Good luck to you and I hope your tastebuds awaken again soon.

    306D?

CherryVapes has the Universal Drip Tip now. It will work both on 306's and 510's.
  19. Sweet!! Please report back and let us know how it holds up, how it works or doesn't. I've still not made mine lol.
  20. Nice collection DayVape! It's a bit blurry with the windows magnifying glass feature, but still looks great. Keep em coming, this is awesome seeing all these mods and setups. Droolers paradise.
  21. For a good 11 months, my answer was NO. (barring 3 puffs here and there). At the 11 month mark, I went through some pretty heavy stressful times and I lit up and smoked at least a pack or two. Then it was back to NO! For a good 3 months. Then some more heavy stressful times hit me and I smoked off and on for several months. Now? Now I'm wanting to yell NO, but I am craving again. I thought I had armed myself well with some 36mg waiting for those awful times. But, even that didn't help. I needed quick, hard, angry pulls off a traditional. Today I am arming myself with the HH.357's and I'm stockpiling one by one. These provide the quick, angry pulls that satisfy. I'm also preparing to purchase a VV with 3.0 attys/cartos for fullness. Even though I should feel "bad" about giving in during stress, I won't. I won't because it's all a learning curve. I had a few curveballs thrown at me and I wasn't prepared to catch them. I just thought I was. No biggie. To go 11 solid months is a miracle. Before the eCig I couldn't go 1 hour. Two hours had me bawling like a baby. I smoked for over 45 years, and couldn't go more than 15 minutes comfortably. Who the heck am I to beat myself up for going 11 months! lol. THAT is NOT going to happen. But, yes, I did beat myself up for not being more fully prepared. With that said, please excuse me while I go read more about the LavaTube, Buzz Pro, VV Saber Touch, Integrity, Provari, Darwin, VV Reo Grand, and the KICK. <--- what a kick eh?!!
  22. Lucky Bum! I have to wait til Christmas or thereafter. Can't wait to play this one.
