How are you liking the blue light? Is it easy to read? It sure is nice!!

As long as my CJ Jeep with her 4" risers can clear the path without deadpanning it, I much prefer the snow. I hate shoveling mud, muck, water bars and ditches! Glad your rain subsided Erica!

The MDCC's fit the SB real nice without an adapter. The EMDCC's need an adapter. I have bought adapters left and right and keep misplacing them lol. Same with my twisted drip tips. At least I haven't lost my ePipeMods pipe stem Drip Tip yet. (which I highly recommend with the EMDCC's). Glad you're liking the new to you carto system!!

RTDVapor has the AW-IMR-18650 batteries for 3.7v vaping (which is great when used with an LR carto or atty). http://rtdvapor.com/AW-IMR-18650-AW-IMR-18650.htm For 6v vaping you would need the 3.0 LIFE-PO rechargable type batteries and always always always keep them in their sets. (never mix and match stacked batteries for any doodad). Amazon has them, as well as CloudsofVapor? and other places. Maybe Madvapes. I'll let others steer you to a good link. I haven't used them, so don't know them.

You might like KGO. It's one of the few ego-tank systems that likes thicker VG juices or mixes. (Boba's Bounty likes the KGO!!) Hoosier ecig supply sells them (just one of the many places that do)

Cold weather affects all batteries from what I understand. I don't know how they're affected though, whether it be in output or duration or what. I'm interested in answer too. So far, I've only found this: http://www.snopes.com/oldwives/battery.asp (there's a Q/A from duracell and energizer if you scroll down a bit.)

Nice review. I especially liked how you mentioned that the Vortex isn't for hands-free dangling operating. I appreciate that. I'll pick up a pack for my long manual batteries and PT, and stick with the SI original cartos for my Xbox short batteries. It's good to know there are backups to our backups. The original SI cartos that I have used so far have been great, but just like with any carto from any brand, the duds will show themselves eventually. I'll be prepared!

Welcome to VT, ChordD! I think you'll find, like many of us did, a preference for vaping over smoking. Once you find your own personal nirvana, change that maybe into a definite. You don't smoke that many a day, so I would suggest a SmokelessImage Volt kit with the PCC. It's easy to put together for a puff, and delivers a satisfying vape. The short batteries 68mm are great for hands-free situations like playing the guitar, xbox, or working on the car. (in the new drip resistant Sealed Automatic batteries). (they last a few hours) The longer 78mm batteries last longer between charges. (they last about 4 hours) They have both short and long, Sealed Automatics and regular Manuals. I have all of the above. One of my sealed autos is kind of "airy" but the other one is great. A combination is good to have. I have their Premium kit which includes the PT, PCC and WC. Plus I picked up extra spare batteries. (13 bucks each). I love my Volt!! I also agree with the eGo. The eGo was my first love and I still love it to this day, 2 years later. You can't go wrong with an eGo. But, I will say, that's it's becoming more and more difficult to select a choice kit. They have so many choices now, it boggles the mind. I would start off with an eGo, some Boge cartos, (liquidxpress.com has some nice prefilled ones as well as empties). and after you find a juice you like, pick up some EMDCC's. (eGo mega Dual coil Cartos) for your all day excursions. Good luck! As long as you stick to a Volt or an eGo for your first choice, you'll be in good hands. Both the Volt and the eGo will still be in your rotation stable even after you acquire the latest and greatest Tim the Toolman Taylor Digital Spaceman Mods. :0 Feel free to ask questions! You're making a wise decision to swtich to vaping from smoking!!

Heading right over. Hard to imagine a better vape than the carto than the 2.8 carto SI gives. Exciting!!

No idea how often they're in stock. Feel free to PM/email him? The million dollar tips are sold ones to new owners who wouldn't sell them for a million dollars...

Do the DIY tester kits also test the ready to vape flavored bottles we've bought from vendors?

Instead of filling the landfills with plastic bottles, many nations are now filling the the plastic bottles with land (sand) and building houses. Pretty darn inventive. What do you think? I'm really liking the last photo on this site. My imagination is going wild...

Oh! Idea!! I bet Bert at TrippyTips would make a spade shaped one on request. Worth a shot anyway.

ROFL! That's his way of stating "out of stock" when you hit the current available. Check out the other links, (size, style) like the 306 is 5 bucks and then the others avg 20 bucks. It floored me too, until I found the other links.

Getting a little crude here boys. Don't make me report you Christopher.
