Electronic Cigarette Makers Must Prove Safety Of Products
Uma replied to BobatVaporsupplies's topic in General Vape News
Here's a thread by Bill Godshall that goes into even more honest detail. IOM (a must read!) -
The ProVari for Variable Volt or the Darwin for Variable Watt. Can't go wrong with either one. Buzz is coming out with a direct on demand VV and Reosmods is coming out with a Bottom Feeder VV Reo. Everyone is adjusting for the new KICK... Brandon from eVolve is producing and selling VW inserts for all mods. It's going to be one heck of an awesome trip next year! :::: off to save a few dimes for the upcoming good times:::

Welcome to VT, Matt! p.s. I agree with all the above posts. The eGo rocks and it gives you time to research as you're happily vaping along. While both the mods you're obsessing over are quite nice, they do take time to learn their learning curves. Pick up an ego & some boges and you'll be good to go right off the bat.

Lr Atomizer Not Producing Any Vapor?
Uma replied to twelveday's topic in Troubleshooting & Technical Issues
Some tips I learned about LR's and will share here. Just disregard if not needed. 1. LR's like to be wet. Prime them with your flavored juice, let sit for 10 minutes, drip another 2 or 3 drops, then you're good to go. 2. Attys will last longer if let to cool between dripping sessions. Drip, vape, vape, vape, cool, drip vape Vape on -
Woohoo! Congrats on your new setup. Vape on.

You're on the right track and there are many DIY'ers to help you through the learning curves. First thing, is to download BreakTru's calculator http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/topic/10772-ejuice-calculator-w-pv-tune/ Second thing is to get Boba's Bounty & RY4 perfected and then sell them to me underground.

Welcome to VT. Switching over from smoking to vaping is always a wise choice, no matter what bans we constantly have to fight. By not smoking, your body begins healing from all those nasty toxins and tar you've been abusing your body with for years. Hopefully we'll be allowed to heal for as long as we desire or need, but if we can't, at least we get to heal for a little while. Many have been able to gradually wean themselves off of the nicotine and are vaping 6mg to zero mg in their first year! These are the fortunate ones, because they can vape nic free despite the ANTZ ban affections. Being wheeze free for even a week is worth the money and time devoted to vaping. Vape away, my friend, and gradually cut back on your own nic intake. Stock up on attys, and ejuice, learn how to make your own mods and liquids and you'll be fine. Eventually you'll have only the hand to mouth addiction to break. (or you can break that earlier than you want and go the obese route, it's up to you). If you pick up a non-dedicated 3.7v battery mod so you can use the larger cartos, such as the (E)MDCC's which don't cost very much. Spend a hundred bucks just stockpiling those babies and you'll be good for a year or so. (they won't work on the little tiny 510 battery) Good luck and fight the fight. Write letters, sign petitions, join CASAA and heal while the healing is good.

Congrats on your ego-c's! I hear they're pretty nice. While watching tv, I enjoy direct dripping into my Reo. There is never a mess with the Reo. It's also a wonderful on the go mod, lasts me all day. If I'm on the computer I enjoy the Volt PT (and my eGo PT). Can't beat not having to charge the battery! For playing xbox and other hands free times, I enjoy the Volt sealed Automatics. For outside chores, I like my bSB with (e)mdcc For backup outside I like my Copper Q I dream of Buzz's, Provari's, Darwins, VVreo's, Darwinized Provaris, Zenises's, ... I haven't tried the tank systems yet. I did purchase a DCC tank from MV but sitll haven't gotten to trying it out. It's in backup stock until I purchase a backup.... I'm sure you'll be fine with your purchases. If you don't like them, you can always PIF them and try another type. (KGO is great with BB for instance). Best of luck to you. Oh! Here is a good video about tanks:

Too cool! Will give that a try. Curious as to how you stumbled upon the idea. I bet you were one of those kids who used to take the toaster apart ....

What Flavor And Device Are You Using Right Now......
Uma replied to kitsune's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Good old Ry4 in a Volt carto on my Volt PT as I browse the forum -
I received my first ever pv, an original eGo kit, as a Christmas present year before last. It was the best present ever! You said: " From what ive read the best are the volt and eGo. I currently smoke about 12-15 American Spirit yellow "analogs" a day". Correct! Those are the best starter kits ever, and they'll still be used even later down the road when you've upgraded to the Tim the Toolman Taylor types of mods. You don't smoke that much, so I highly recommend the Volt kit. It's the easiest to put together in a second, plus it has a handy carrying case that also charges your ecig while you vape your other. (the kit comes with 2). Personally, I like the new drip resistant Sealed Automatic batteries, but if you get both an auto and a manual in your starter kit, you'll know which one YOU like the most. You can also buy the prefilled carto samples and see which one you take a liking to. Tank systems can be really finicky. I hear the KGO is good though, and the eGo-C . PBusardo has some great reviews on those over at youtube. Merry Christmas! I hope you get all of the above. Must have backups for your backups....

Boston Globe Article "e-Cig; Threat Or Therapy?"
Uma replied to Gamera's topic in Vaping Health & Safety
Good find!! As to why the organizations like the ALA, ACS, ect are so against Vaping.... they thrive on the cigarette tax monies. No taxes, no orgs. -

Way to go Brian!!!

Welcome to VT!! You'll be the most popular vaper in the kingdom if you come up with a true chocolate flavor. To date, I've only enjoyed the ones with either peanut butter or orange added. There's got to be a pure way to do it. Good luck!

That is one tiny box mod! Is it a Sneaky Pete?

Glad it's working good for you so far, Jeffb. I hope it holds up and that you're able to add a recommendation review. I want one! But will wait til 1. the funds are in and 2. the recommendation reviews are in.

The kids on my hill use an old car hood attached to the back of the 4 wheeler for snow mobile-ing. One of these days I'll try to video them...

Sorry to hear you had stress problems... problems of any kind, really, but stress ones are a killer. I found myself in the same boat, last year.... and the stress is still oncoming. You have been given some wonderful tips by the previous posters. I'm sure you'll do quite well with those. If you still need more ammo, check out the HH.357 attys at AvidVaper.com I would purchase the long barrel for your first one because it protects better from hot spit than their regular shorter barrel one.. The HH.357 is outrageously expensive, but if taken good care of, it should last you for months. (there is a video tutorial on the regular shorter barrel page). The HH.357 is built for shorter draws, which means we can pull it like we can a traditional... we can give it those angry draws. As you know, most attys require a slow easy, relaxed draw. Having one or two in your arsenal might be worth it for your next stress session. Another thing that has helped me of late, is the Volt ecig. I know I know, it's a tiny little pen thing, how can that help? Well, it does. It has 3.7volts on a steady regulated current, which means it doesn't peter out between charges (until the last 2 or 3 draws). It allow you to V it in your fingers as you talk, as you drink your coffee, ... you know, those times. I love the new drip resistant Sealed Automatic batteries. I even use a short one for hands free times like playing Black Ops. Yeh, the battery life between charges is only about 2 hours for the shorty and about 4 hours for the regular, but the extra batteries are only 13 bucks, .. It's no eGo, but it has it's place. Another thing, are the variable volt options out there. You might want to invest in a good VV mod like the BuzzPro or Infinity Pro with all it's safety features, or the LavaTube or Provari... there are so many to choose from. The thing that helps tremendously during stress,is tons and tons of vapor. To exhale until we're blue in the face. To see our sighs exhaled from our bodies. There's something about the Vapor. I recommend Boba's Bounty and a good mod/cart/tank that likes BB. (I think the KGO does. Check out Pbuersado's reviews). Avejuice nailed it. I use it in my bottom feeder box mod by ReosMods (got the Reo Grand and love love love it!). Good luck to you, I wish you the best. ((( HUGS! )))

"The reason I stated that an FDA regulation to apply Chapter IX of the FSPTCA to e-cigarettes could ban many/most e-cigarette products (that contain nicotine) is because Section 910 of the FSPTCA could allow the FDA to ban some/many/most/all e-cigarette products that were not available in the US market before February 15, 2007." Back to the non-satisfying wispy days so that we all turn back to cigs. Quite a plan they have there. Thank goodness for Radio Shack.

Comedian John Branyan On The Future Of Electronic Cigarettes?
Uma replied to MikeMorgan's topic in General Vaping Discussion
But his audience following... a little on the young side. That's a shame. Now we need clean up patrols? They're replying in silly ways, I don't think they're serious. Kind of like how we reply when we see a Redneck Merry Go Round "I want one!!". But, even so, I'm going to send out an alert and hope to educate as much as possible. I hope others will join in. -
