Don't pause! Read it and sign it to STOP THE INSANITY. The MEP are sneaking in stupid tough regulations, even after the summit hearing. I hope I'm not too late posting this. NO TIME TO WASTE!!!! http://www.saveecigs.com/uk-letter/4579166095

Hello! Cal Journalist looking for Thoughts and Advice.
Uma replied to castorsimon's topic in Introduce Yourself
Welcome, and thank you for being up front about your stance. Are you aware of: The Drexel Study CASAA.org Kennedy Onassis research teams, and the studies being performed, notably Dr. Farsalinos Clive Bates Dr. Michael Siegel Dr. Polosos (sp) Dr. Gilbert Ross Forbes financial article CDC's Partial release of a study vs CDC's FULL release of same study National youth statistics concerning smoking (all time low) 100 French doctors petitioning FOR eCigs FDA, CDC, a French study, all being debunked and how, why, by whom. Big Pharma's grants to bribe towns, universities, states, etc into banning their strongest competition, the eCigs 156% ecig users were smokers, http://www.plosone.org/article/info%3Adoi%2F10.1371%2Fjournal.pone.0079332 TSET's rules for receiving bonus grants... ALA, ACA, TFK, etc, and all alphabet soup orgs involvement in trying to ban eCigs by suggesting we keep buying smokes until eCigs are taxed the same way If you are aware of even a few of the above, then why are you in opposition? We want truths, no propaganda, no agendas, just plain dumb truths. I'm nicer than I sound. Honest. Welcome! If you're interested in learning more, I'll round up even more food for thought any time, just ask. -
thanks, glad it helped!

Sweet!! I've been so tempted to buy both the Innokin monsters, love the looks of their mods. (134 & vtr). If the VTR had the MVP charging power and pt, I wouldn't hesitate another second to pick one up. I wonder if it's in the planning stages? Haha, it would probably add weight though. Oh man, They're so innovative, hard to resist! Congrats on yours!

Great choice for the MS!!!

Mt Baker Pulling Cinnamon/Vape at your own risk

You're welcome! Correct. Talbot (an ANTZ) ,tested non-diluted concentrated flavor. No pg. No VG. Just concentrated flavor. Dimitri held an emergency Skype meeting with Dr. Farsalinos who has literally performed studies with vapor Flavors. http://youtu.be/QRhFEGWPIp0 -
Congrats big time!!!! I've been trying hard to get my hands on one for several months now, but when he's taking orders, my wallet is empty. I have the Nahual and a Temon DiD-D-16 to go with it, but I think I'll splurge for the little mule geni for it when I finally get to order. Did you get the 500 extension for it too? Is it here yet? The coating is like a military coating stuff, extremely tough. There's now a special leather case for it too, made in Russia, I hope to get too. Donkey says you don't have to take it out of the case to change batteries, so that's cool. I'm so happy you got one!!!

You're very welcome! Dimitri held an emergency Skype meeting with Dr. Farsalinos about this subject. I love how he grumbles about dumb scientists like Talbot. He also grumbles about the vendors pulling the cinnamon, too, because they're just (innocently, gullibly) feeding into Talbots sensationalist narcissism. (My words) It gets better towards the end, well worth the watch. The gist? As long as we're not acting like amateur scientists who don't dilute the flavor in with VG/pg, we will be alright. So, in short, be sure to always dilute your Flavors into VG/PG and you'll be smarter than Talbot and the rest of the paid monkeys who wotrk for the ANTZ

BRAVO!!!! Excellent video, thanks so much for posting this! And yes, they ban this safest Swedish Snus too. Not enough business for big Pharma products wherever Snus and eCigs are allowed.

I'm so. Glad this was posted here. Thanks for sharing!!

Dr. Farsalinos, of Onassis Kennedy Research Center, who has devoted his expertise to researching the eCig, has recently submitted his findings for publishment. He wills notify us all as soon as he has a link. In the meantime, there is a fear mongering campaign being led by the ANTZ lab teams. (Talbot, etc). Here is a note from Dr. Farsalinos correcting the ANTZ lies. Take note of the benefits of cinnamon, at the end. . http://www.ecigarette-research.com/web/index.php/2013-04-07-09-50-07/138-cinnamon-flavours-in-e-cigarettes Details Created on Thursday, 21 November 2013 17:51 Cinnamon flavours in e-cigarettes: how inappropriate research can misinform the public and the (amateur) professionals By Dr Farsalinos Considerable debate has been focused on the issue of cinnamon flavors after a study was published in a toxicology journal declaring that such flavored liquids are cytotoxic. Just one month ago, a study published by our group also found that a cinnamon-flavored liquid was slightly cytotoxic (although still 10 times less toxic that tobacco smoke). I have already sent a letter to the editor of Toxicology in Vitro raising concerns about the latest study they published on cinnamon, however due to significant misinformation spread throughout the social media, I decided to publish this comment. First of all, it was surprising to see a vendor removing cinnamon flavors from his sales list. According to a well-known e-cigarette activist, When a juice maker that fills thousands of bottles a day does this - you should listen. My response to this is: If the juice maker who fills thousands of bottles a day knew what he was doing, he should have found out about it before any research was published. What I mean is that makers have no idea about the cytotoxicity of their products. They are doing no research, so how would they know? But it is even worse that they are making such moves (to remove cinnamon flavors) without even reading (or understanding) the research they quote. Let me explain. The latest study by Talbots group discussed about the cytotoxicity of cinnamon flavors in e-cigarette. Interestingly however, IF SOMEONE READS THE PAPER, he will find that the researchers never used any e-cigarette. Moreover, they never produced vapor! They tested the liquids in liquid form, not in vapor. How can you support that the results have implications for e-cigarette users when no e-cigarette was used and no vapor was produced? However, there is a bigger mistake. The authors mentioned that they tested 8 refill liquids with cinnamon flavor. They mention the names of the liquids and the companies they got them from. After personally searching on the internet and communicating with some companies, I found out that 4 of the samples were concentrated flavors, not refills. The authors themselves found cinnamaldehyde (the substance giving the cinnamon flavor in the liquid) at levels that differed between samples by up to 100 times. This confirms what I found: some of their samples were concentrated flavors. Finally, there is still another problem in their study. They tested the substance itself (cinnamaldehyde) to see how toxic it is. They found it toxic at levels 400 times lower than currently approved for food use. This is a very strange result and it is hard to explain how regulatory authorities have accepted cinnamaldehyde to be available at such high levels (of course, before the approval, several tests were performed and it was not found toxic). The authors have to explain why their findings contradict previous research. As I mentioned above, a letter to the editor has been sent and is currently evaluated for publication. In short, the results of this study have nothing to do with e-cigarette use and are more applicable to cinnamon use in food (since they tested the liquid in liquid form and they used several concentrated samples). Besides that, the reactions from manufacturers show that, unfortunately, they cannot accept their ignorance and instead of asking an expert so that they get informed, they react in a way that produces panic to vapers, does nothing to protect consumers and only results in a game of public relations tactics. This is even more unfortunate than the mistakes in the research protocol. As a final note, let's not forget that research has shown cinnamon to have anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and maybe anti-cancer properties...

LOL!!!!

I dream of being nic free, habit free, and becoming a "social" smoker only. (Social Vaper in my case) . I always wished to see what that felt like lol. Then i will decide whether or not my body did better with or witout nicotine. I know it helps calm & focus me... like an Olympic Athlete, it gives me a cheating edge lol, (can you believe they actually want to ban nic from athletes for that reason lol) .

Mechanical mods have zero wires. Nothing breaks, except the battery spring which are easy to replace. They are great for using with the Kick, a wattage setter portable disk which is adjustable in power levels. The Kick also acts as a fuse. Mech mods most often use the aw-imr type battery. These range in sizes from 350-650 with others smaller, others larger. Ie.. Nemesis, Poldiac, Precise, Roller, Caravela, A semi -mech mod has a wire for the fire button, but no other electronics. Ie .. Silver Bullet But you can add a Kick. A non-mech mod has electronics built in, plus the switch is wired too. Provari, vamso, etc.

I dont want to see the next generation smoking ... thats why i vape. I'd much rather see a minor see what the fuss is all about, get bored, and walk away without addiction, than to see that minor experiment with a cigarette and be imprisoned for life. The nicotine in an ecig is delivered at lower and slower paces than it is in a traditional. After a minor tastes these, then try a traditional, theyll never pick up another traditional again., they taste horrible in comparison. Save the children, via vaping. Put the smoke tax money back in the family budget, keep a roof over their head, keep your job. We DO care for the children, unlike the antz who want to deny shelter, employment, health care, insurance if anyone even looks at something that is not run by big pharma and the fda.
-
Great article! That french doc, Dr. Jauquess etc (sp) also signed the 100 doctors FOR ecigs petion. Right on
-
They love the fees they can charge big pharma. I'm so glad Judge Leon told them oh hell no when the fda droolingly insisted for ecigs to be classified as drugs. Why am i suddenly craving walnuts lol
-
There seems to be a huge lack if QC with the coil heads in all coil head products. The only way to achieve consistent quality is to go the RBA route.
-
Ahh, a take on Van's Silver Dog. I wondered when it would be cloned.
-
My smoking budget transferred to my vaping budget. A few times I've not bought anything for months, saving up for a high end gadget. But most of the time, I shop to stockpile the things I enjoy or need, so I can go a year or the rest of my life without having to buy anything at all. (Wanting to is a different story). I've invested in everything from the Joye 510 at ties to many RBA's. From all mechanical mods to Variable volt mods. Cheap to ouchywahwah. When & if I'm ever finished(lol), we willl ... Gosh, I don't know, maybe travel? Play more Bingo? CLOTHES!, I so could use a new wardrobe. But, I won't need gear or nicotine either one. I hope to be nic free soon. . My advice? Pretend like you're buying smokes, but take the money and stock up in case the taxman gets his way financially, the BT gets their way by banning online sales, or zombies invade your favorite shop.
