  1. Bummers about the metallic taste! That is usually identified with dry and/or with a short somewhere. The coils might be bad, unfortunately. Do you have an ohm reader?
  2. The K-Go handles Boba quite well. nuff said
  3. True, the SB is not all mechanical, it's close to being so... I think the button is all mechanical, but there are wires in the connector place. For all mechanical? Zenesis Mini or Standard (hitting the shelf in April-ish at houseofhybrids) Precise (SuperTmanufacturing) Reo Mini, Grand, (reosmods) my fave for a long time gosh, and so many others for all mechanical. Good luck! No matter which way you go, it'll be a fun and worthwhile journey!
  4. P,S. The SB! Because Zen has made the DIy rebuildable Z-atty-U atty that fits it to a tee.
  5. The SB! The button is classic, comfortable, recessed, and just a joy to use. The SB! The Kick fits in it most of the time... (needs tweaking here and there but there are lots of help posts for that) The SB! If it falls out of your back pocket, you'll hear it and see it. Very difficult to misplace this mod. The SB! With aw-imr 18650 batteries, it lasts all day and then some.
  6. OHHH!! and the Z-atty-G for the GG!!! All attys are specifically made to seamlessly fit onto the special mods to achieve a seamless appearance with zero gaps.
  7. Try pulling the connector out with a paper clip. Gently lift the BP's connector, as well as the carto's. (some cartos just plain don't fit no matter what. Try using a different brand, type) Try sanding lightly the battery connection place, and the button place? Try a dab of noalox on the button connection to battery place? If all else fails, Buzz will take care of ya. Go to their site and fill out a ticket. Good luck to you!
  8. Scott's working on the Genesis V2, and his tips go for any Gen type atty. The one I'm excited about is also a Genesis type atty, but it's simpler. It doesn't kink, and it's easier to build. The guy who makes them, Mike (aka ZEN), is brilliant! His website is houseofhybrids.com He makes Mods, Attys, and juice. They will be on the shelf in April... until then, he's been doing lists, but I think the lists are closed now because they're going to be on the shelf soon. He's making: Z-atty-Z (for our Zenesis mods, which I have and love!!) Z-atty-BP (for the Buzz Pro) Z-atty-M (for the Megladon) Z-atty-D (for the Darwin) Z-atty-U (for all the rest of the 510'ers like the SB, and I have one on order from the list he used to have) Z-atty-P (for the PROVARI!!!) Z-atty-? (for the yet to be announced) For these atty's, there are also the tanks: Fused Crystal Stainless Steel PolyCarbonate (sp). (did I say that right? It's the typical bullet proof plastic/glass one) His website will officially open to the public when they're on the shelf. Until then, there are a few hundred happy guinnea pigs like me shouting his praises and alerting others to what's to come, so they can save up and hit him hard when the door opens.
  9. Welcome back!!! I'm so glad to hear you're on the road to recovery and all is well.
  10. haha, I'm with McQuiver on this one. I practically "camp" live every day as it is, and a nice plush RV or Holiday Inn would be sweeeeet! Make sure to bring one of those Insulin zipper cases with ice packs for your juices, they're easy to pocket and will save your juice from getting overheated while you're out fishing or hiking. Camping for me, means a camera, skeeter repellant, and a good novel.
  11. Nice review!!! I am so going to pick up a purple Buzz Pro before the year's out, if it kills me. Especially now that Zen has invented the perfect fitting Z-Atty-B (Z-atty-Buzz) for it!! Not only will it fit seamlessly, no ugly gaps between the mod and the tank, but it's a stainless steel mesh wick for pure flavor taste and kanthal wire coil DIY atty for never going without an atty. hahaha, yep, I'm excited!!! I am looking forward to the BP and Z-atty-B
  12. Both sizes fit perfect in mine. The original mah and the 2000 mah. I lucked out I guess.
  13. I love Eminem and have to crank the volume high whenever his songs play. I have him in my Rhapsody menu on my phone, and plug the stereo speakers into the phone for great sound. Even the heifers like Eminem. They hang around for hours listening to him... and run like mad whenever Lil'Wayne comes on. Don't tell Wayne that though,...
  14. Yes, that's the one! It's good to know I'm in great company. I love that set-up for doing outdoor chores, it fits easy into my back jean pocket and I would notice if it ever fell out. EARTHQUAKE!! lol
  15. Bummers that your VV crapped out. Fortunately there are lots of VV's out there priced across the board and it should be easy to find one in your price range. The Buzz Pro just came out with a fancy lightening bolt cut-out in the body and looks promising. I have and love the LavaTube, an entry level VV mod, and it's set up with a ss 3.0 carto and tank. It's so dang easy to use, lightweight, and I just really like it all aross the board. The Provari is the dream machine for many, the craftsmanship is outstanding, but it has a menu to set up the desired volts and to test the battery etc. I'm not a menu type person, or I would have one for sure. They're a beautiful mod. I lucked out and got in on the ground floor for the Zenesis. It's VV in the fact that it's up to me how to build my atty. It's a rebuildable atty with a tank. The tank doesn't use a carto, it uses a SS mesh... for direct rich flavor. So, between the super easy to coil atty and super easy to prepare wick, tank, and all mechanical no wires to break super duper mod,I now make my own ohms and if I ever have any problems coiling the perfect for me ohm all I have to do is try again or give up and add a Kick to it. How cool is that! I'm ready for Zombies with my make my own VV mod. (houseofhybrids.com)
  16. Welcome to VT, Landon! Congrats on switching over to vaping, and it's so cool that your friends and co-workers are interested too. Imagine the fun all of you will be having once the learning curves are straightened out! Flavor tests, atty discussions, mod stalking, ... oh to be in your shoes! I have a VV LavaTube with a pre-punched 3.0 stainless steel carto and a 5(?) ml tank set up. I got the whole shabang at Volcano eCigs in one order and haven't regretted it at all. I haven't had any troubles what so ever with their setup, except of course the very first time when I didn't realize I was supposed to pre-fill the carto until it leaks out the hole before inserting. But ever since then, it's been a champ (and so have I lol). I know that their set up works (and should on any 510 connection VV we have) and it might be worth a shot. Like McQuiver said, the tanks are kind of a hobby .... but once we find a good one for us, they're so handy that we end up having a tank for all our favorite flavors. They're worth it, in other words, to keep trying them out til you find the one that works for you. A lot of people have good luck with the map tanks, the J-tank, and so forth too. Best of luck to you, and don't give up! The SmokeLessImage Volt is an exceptionally easy one not only for first timers, but for the advanced user as well. They are powerful little cigarette sized ecigs, at 3.6volts with 2.8ohm cartos. I would seriously consider adding a kit to your arsenal for others to try.... and for you to enjoy as well. I have the SB, LT, Reo Grand, Copper Q3, and so on and so on, and just got the Volt last Halloween and it's become my main vape. I use it in rotation with my other mods, (different flavors and nic strength set-ups), and sometimes I forget to rotate. I like it that much. It satisfies in vapor, th, and handling. Best of luck to you and your friends and co-workers!
  17. I saw.both Awakes finally ... and you're right, it's a keeper. Id so hate to be in his shoes . Hes handling it so amazingly well... and the crossover ccases are crazy cool. I have it set for auto updates.
  18. I completely agree with you! WHO dropped the bomb? was powerful... the wtap it up conclusion bomb they dropped on us really blows.
  19. Wow, i never should write so late in the day or early morning. I hope nobody takes the visual wrong. There's huge comtempt for corporate greed with fat wallets laughing at us little people . Its not the size of the person it's the size of the greed. Moderators, please delete my 2 posts in this thread before someone misunderstands. Thanks.
  20. Oops ran out of brains again and posted too soon. They cancelled due to that huge writers strike that lasted forever and because our favorite mature man (heart throb for me) left the show. I hate to spoil it for you because its still worth watching even after it goes obviously wonky but to be honest i feel a headsup is in order or you'll get even more pissed. It helps to understand the non understandable. I hope they redo it and bring it back to life and share more survival tips. What an ordeal they faced!
  21. They always work great for me too on my BSB. My only complaint is having to top them off every hour or 4. I always find that odd because they hold so much liquid.
  22. My daughter and I loved that show!! It's one of the few shows that garnered excited conversatuon between us. (she's more into soaps and survivor). We whined for months when it went off the air. We joined online petitions to bring it back.... ect.
  23. Welcome back! So sorry to hear about your divorce. I like the advice given...don't beat yourself up for it, you'll find yourself vaping fulll time before you know it. The last time you quit smoking the stress in your life was probably less. Plus you were stopping a long time habit.... this second time around you have high stress... and less smoking time to be sick of it even tho you hate it. I'm having a hard time this 3rd tme around for me. I was just recuperating from a few high stresses when a double whammy got me. (my mare and my brother died on the same day just 4 hrs apart). One tip that is helping me to avoid lighting up all the ones i crave comes from Jane on The Mentalist... he said to visualize a fat ugly greedy beady big tobacco dude laughing a belly roll laugh every time you take a drag. Watch him drool and giggle over the money you're giving him clear til yoyr dying day. (paraphrazed) I go one step further and replace an unknown face with the face of our greedy land partner and the comtempt really helps. This is one case where evil ones can actually be blessings in disguise. Good luck and i wish you the best.
  24. I'm finding contentment now that i have my new Rebuildable Atty (z-atty-z) plus all mechanical Zenesis mod. I will get the universal rebuildable atty for all my other mods from Zen in April and then be really content. (HOUSEOFHYBRIDS.COM) Thanks to Nana & other insightful posters i do have lots of backups and am finally understanding DIY somewhat. (love coffee extraction style) . I still need to purchase nic and whatever but at least I'm finally breathing somewhat.
  25. Thanks! Looks fun and have bookmarked on phone.
