I'm happy with and can highly recommend the Volt by SmokelessImage. You can even change out the ash cap with a diamond or a black stealth cap. They're a great little ecig and you can get a kit with: 2 ecigs, 5 cartos, wall charger, for about 45 bucks. They have both the (pert-near) sealed automatic and the manual with a button. Can't go wrong with a Volt. They provide a consistent vape until it's time to recharge.

Bingo! yep! I'm a Zenesis fan, a Smokeless Image VOLT fan, a ReosMods fan, an Altsmoke Silver Bullet fan, an LT fan, an eGo fan (oh! the ZAU fits the eGo too!), a Mark's Mod fan, an Old Goat back-up fan, and so many more. I am lucky to own all of these, and even luckier to now be in the DIY rebuildable atty fan groups. Even luckier to find rebuildable attys that fit ALL my various mods wonderfully. The ZAU, ZAP, ZAG, ZAZ, ZAD, etc are all rebuildable attys (a NEW genesis type except it's super eazy peazy and comes complete with wick, wire and tank.).

<---- sticking with ZAU on my LT and getting a ZAP when I get my purple BP, and meanwhile enjoying my ZAZ on my APV and the Cisco on my REO and I obviously love typing out the whatchamacallits and knowing what they mean. lol

I Sense A Sea Change In Vaping Coming Soon....
Uma replied to xiefotah's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I agree with everyone lol. It's safe to say I see both sides of the fence, assumptions. What really scares me though is that they bought Blu, the king of advertising and "contract" cartos. Overpriced cartos. Blu actually makes a profit off of ripping the uninformed off. They have a profitable business because of that... and that's why the big L company bought them... profits rule. -
Amen to that! Experience, with the particular atty in use, is about the only way that I know of to avoid those nasty dry hits. With the Cisco's attys on my Reo or OG, I can "sense" a dry hit coming soon, and therefore sqonk it before it hits. It's just a matter of experience with each different atty. I had a rougher time "sensing" with the Joye's or others. The flavor drop-off is usually the first sign for me. I think the OG was a fabulous "dry hit" trainer in that sense. (old goat). I really lucked out by starting with an OG first. With the rebuildable attys, it's more a matter of breaking in a new atty and then learning to "sense" from then on. But, yes, they do take more of a break-in period than regular attys do, but they last months longer plus they're easier to clean old flavors off and start a new one. (they like the cold/hot unlike the regular premade attys). Actually, imho, all types require the non-inhaling break in period, and I'd love to know of one that never ever allows a dry hit at any time...

The LavaTube would be sweet on a tight budget. After you have more funds saved up there is a rebuildable atty with tank that will save you even more money over the years because the atty will last you over a month and the wire is just nickles and dimes to replace. House of Hybrids has a rebuildable atty for the LavaTube, Silver Bullets, etc... called the Z-atty-U (U for universal). They'll be on the site soon... (a few days I think)... so you can see what it looks like and watch the videos on how it works... The rebuildable attys with the stainless steel mesh wicks like HOH's, provide pure clean great flavor, unlike the muted cartos of yesterday. Plus, it's up to us on what "ohm" we want... 5 coils is the normal, 4 and under is hotter, 6 and up is cooler. It's easy when you get used to it. (oh, and HOH's are newbie friendly). Have fun!
-
Indeed they are! Which is why it's finally easier to snag a regular all mechanical regular Reo mini and/or Grand. As far as the purple goes, he hasn't had purple for months, due to problems with the annodizers or something, so this is a real treat getting a brand new purple one. Oh, and rumor has it that soon he'll also be selling his own rebuildable BF attys too. Can't wait!
-
Finally snagged a purple Reo Grand yesterday and am already pacing the floor today. I have one that's black with silver door and love it, but the only reason I bought it was cuz I gave up trying for a purple one. Now I'll have two to fill with two of my favorite flavors. I'm stoked.

Automatic Small Bat Kit Recommendations?
Uma replied to sasetrase's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I love my Volt's. Some are airy, some are tight, some are perfect. They were the first to come out with the "sealed" type of auto, but now a lot of the brands have that same feature which is cool. They were also one of the firsts to have consistant volts, too, if I remember right. I guess they all do that now? Is that what I'm hearing? I haven't tried the newer versions of the Volts or the V4L's or Bloogs but maybe this summer as I replace my old Volts I'll go ahead and pick up some of the other types too. Another thing I really like the SI Volts, is it's actually cheap to buy a whole kit complete with charger which comes in handy for PFF's. and they have a point system that eventually lets you have a free shopping day if you save them up. Whichever way you decide, you'll be good to go. The new little batts of today are a tremendous improvement over the days of yore. Thank God! -
Mmmmm Atomizer Tank Up And Coming For Drippers?
Uma replied to twelveday's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Oh for heaven's Sakes!!! Forget the meds, and make a scotch on the rocks. Actually, a double scotch on the rocks! I'm so sorry. I ran many threads/posts together in my mind and .... grrrrrrrrrr'd myself into ... well, you know... My apologies. -
My carto's never last over 2 tank fulls, and quite often just 1 tank full. It's so frustrating!!! Plus the flavor is muted. It's so handy when they work great the first day... so I kept with it until lately. Lately I switched over to the SSmesh wick with Tank system and GOODBYE Carto tanks!! I even get the full rich flavor back, just like with direct dripping. Sorry I don't have carto tips for you. If I run across any, I'll get back to you. (and me as well lol)

Mmmmm Atomizer Tank Up And Coming For Drippers?
Uma replied to twelveday's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Not on every thread. I do post on threads that talk about the latest and greatest ... how can I not be excited???? This is extremely exciting!!! Matt started it last year or so, while fooling around and it's really taken hold with the engineers. Of course I'm excited and I'm sharing tidbits so others know of these brilliant concepts! I'm not apologizing for that. I also post about them in threads where they are sick and tired of dull flavors, because the ss wick rocks flavor. I also post about it in Zombie type threads, because these are the coolest way to be self sufficient ever, even us diy=challenged folks! I post in wish lists, because I wanted one so bad, and I even got one! I post in "show me your setup/mod" posts, because it's a new to me mod. I'm so sorry you seem to have a problem with brilliant concepts and those who excitedly share what little they know with others. I do apologize for you being angry enough to pull your Selling thread. It was not my intention to raise anger, but rather to raise awareness of how dishing other vendors/modders/ ect sounds when you are trying to sell something too. I also wanted to set the record straight, that these are not blow by night attys. They are priced right for the engineering and craftsmanship. My post was geared towards informing the uninformed that progress has been made. Soon we'll be excited about other new ones. I haven't seen any other ones yet, or you can bet your sweet bippy they'd been in my post. I'm not biased. You do have some attys, and they're cheaper. That's cool. Do you have a website where we can learn about them? Video's? Reviews? Tell us more. If this is not a thread about atty/tanks then... wow. I do need my meds. -
Any Of You Volt Lovers Check These Out?
Uma replied to blucavvy's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Not yet, but hope to try one out soon enough... even though I'm liking the sizes of the ones I already have. Finally got their black case with the purple zipper, and it's great!!! Much better organized than other ones I've tried so far. (which is few lol) -

Mmmmm Atomizer Tank Up And Coming For Drippers?
Uma replied to twelveday's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Listen. Nobody's trying to talk you into anything. The info was put out there and YOU attacked it. I then defended it by pointing out FACTS and then you proceeded to attack him (or was it me? either way, it's an inappropriate statement).by calling the FACTS a snakeoil presentation. You are selling something. Knocking other's and their products unfairly, in order to "promote" your own, is obviously bad taste, form and tact. I remove myself from this ridiculous non-conversation with an obvious seller of something or another. -

To each his own.. He also makes (made a limited quantity) of the Zen Bam that you needs. (because a bunch of his fans wanted a Black Anonized Mimi). His main mods, his Zen standard and Zenesis mini are made from surgical stainless steel, all mechanical, magnet button instead of spring, and because of the diy atty, there are no 510 connector thingies to break wobble or tweak. The attys themselves: They're really not that expensive when you consider that included is: 1 year supply of Kanthal wire (the kind of wire that loves a cold water dunk on a hot coil for good cleaning) 1 year supply of Stainless Steel mesh wire, 1 or 2 allen wrenches 1 quartz tank for the cinnamon fans AND he pre-oxidizes, pre-wraps, and pre-installs them so you know: a. how they are supposed to look when done right b. to save time for the purchaser c. to help eliminate intimidation of the DIY Plus he has video's on how to roll the wick, wrap the coil and oxidize the wick so you can buy sheets and rolls of the stuff you need and do it all by yourself when you're confident and ready to do so. He also sells extra pre-oxidized wicks for the weak of diy hearted. They're worth the money, trust me. Plus, he has them special made to especially fit the various mods. 1. Z-atty-u Universal atty with tank for the avg mod (silver bullet, lavatank ect) 2. Z-atty-P for the Provari (fits like a pro!) 3. and so forth. (Megladom, GG, (yes, even the GG folks are excited), You get a years worth of attys for a hundred + bucks the first year,... and about 10 bucks a year from then on. (buying SS mesh by the sheet, and Kanthal wire by the roll). It's also the easiest to build genesis type atty out there so far to date. There are no kinks and there's more room to wrap. Am I smitten? YOU BET YOUR SWEET BIPPY!!! -

Zen at house of hybrids has atty/tank combos . They are the easiest diy attys to date. He'll have them up on his site shortly (week or two?) Sent from my VS920 4G using Tapatalk 2 -
Oh cool! The fog rolled in! :::: off to protest:::: The regular Big Rigs that run up and down Calif are a necessity of life and we appreciate them... or should if we don't anyway. Sure, they slow us down, because of our mountainous terrain... there are some mighty steep climbs and windy hiways here. It's all we can do to pass them in the double lane before the double lane ends... because our little putputs are working hard too. Those Humongous Double Trailer Super Long and Super Heavy Rigs would be atrocious! There'd be so many wrecks from people trying desperately to pass them before the road turns back to 2 lane again... there would be mile long trains of cars trying to pass the mile long trucks! Plus they are so heavy, the pot holes would swallow most of us! There's no way Calif can keep up with the slides and potholes as it is! This is so upsetting. Here's a hopeful update: http://thelumberjack.org/news/caltrans-staa-juggernaut-stalls-richardson-grove I don't know if they're for or against, I didn't read the entire article... just the good part. lol

I Need Help.... Idk What I Am Doing Wrong!
Uma replied to Woods198512's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Does it perform correctly with a regular atty set up or a regular carto without a tank? -
ROFL @ Jeff's post. (literally, I laughed at loud!) TD, hopefully we'll win and those Double Trailer big rigs can keep to their Redding routes. Here's a Petition if anyone's interested in helping. (there are more, just do a search for Richardson's State Grove) haha, our own naked protest, how fun!! The naked truth about eCigs and politics. Love it!
-
They are protesting the widening of hiway 101 in Richardson's Grove. The state wants to remove the beautiful old growth Redwoods, to widen the road, to allow big rigs to roll on through. It's the last stretch of hiway like this anywhere in Calif. We kinda like it, ya know, even though we still yell at tourists who stop in the middle of the road to take their pictures through their sunroofs while we're trying to get to work on time lol. It's a beautiful piece of Calif and rich in history as well. I know, I hear ya, pictures speak louder than words.... and hopefull you all will be here asap to help us save the redwoods! Camera's welcome.

The photo was taken by Hans Ashbaucher You might have to resize... I forgot the rules and I have to turn the power off soon due to lack of sun. (sorry!) Enjoy!
