How-to work-around by Todd for the Cobra: Very nice tip for any genesis atty coiling:
-
Phil finally did his z-atty-pro review!
-
The Bliss is definitely American made, in Missouri, by DocDave. You can join a list or buy it from a store now. One of the stores selling is http://international.elitevaporworks.com/rebuildable-atomizers-and-supplies.html But, it's not a "beginners" atty. It doesn't come with the stuff. For a beginners atty, I would get the Z-atty or the DID. And then buy the Bliss when you know what to expect. The Bliss is a bit confusing at first, because it offers many ways to set it up. (more holes to wonder what's what). But it's a GREAT one when you're a bit experienced. He even has a Titanium version.
-
I know Zenesis is American made, and I think the Bliss is, perhaps the Cobra... I really don't remember! I'm of limited knowledge on that too. Sorry. But, I'll try to remember to jot them down as I run across the info.

P.S. With that said, I do know (after reading and watching countless reviews) that: At this time: 1. The DID by MMVapors.com (used to be e-vape.gr but he now has new website URL). The DiD is the most available, most affordable one on the market at this time. Also has a great Vendor, and very helpful thread. 2. The Hellfire is the most sought after ever, and the waiting list has 8 month wait, and is closed until he catches up. 3. The Cobra is awesome looking, but the SSmesh is being difficult for some reason. (there are workarounds of course). It, too, is ow available in stores. haha, we're typing at same time. Cool! Will check back later to confuse you more if you need more confusing.

OMG!! Your title had me laughing with tears. I can relate to the confusion and puzzling, all too well. Been there, still doing that! delete delete delete You know what? The more I type, the more confused *I* get lol. I'm still learning all this too. Scott .. igetcha69 has a ton of videos on the various rebuildables!! Go to his youtube channel or to his ecigreviews.com site and look for: 1. DID 2. Spheroid 3. Cobra 4. Hellfire 5. Orion (hybrid only so far... all in one mod and rebuildable atty) 6. Zenesis Z-atty-Pro and so much more. He's the boss on all these. I'm on broadband probation until next payday or I would find and list them here for you.

and there's more to share with you! I already mentioned how the company is acting in top notch fashion. Taking our feedback and acting without haste. If ever there is a problem, or a question, they are more than happy to help you... and sometimes, they go beyond that and do something incredibly generous and kind to someone they don't even know. I, personally, can vouch for that. Let me tell you what happened. I had no idea that the DiD came with extra o-rings... so... I put o-rings everywhere. On every itty bitty screw, on cap grooves, on my fingers and toes... It wasn't until someone said "Uma! Why do you have an o-ring there?" that I realized things were amiss. They taught me how to remove them, using a fork twine, and from there I just kept learning gennys until I was educated enough to be able to help other newbies with their learning curves. I came a long way! Well, Jim, the creator and seller of the DID, got such a big kick out of my learning process that he surprised me with a specially engraved Mini DiD when I purchased it. He made a small batch for a select few... Rick for his videos and lessons, dSpin for his gorgeous pics and tips, and a few others for their time and effort as well. I am so honored to have one of these beauties! It says "To my friend" and is signed by him as well. How many Vendors do that???!!!! As I was out browsing one day, I stumbled across the Stage One video of the Roller. I immediately posted it in the DID thread, so that others could see it too. One of the posters, Outadadark, happened to be visiting the thread that day and was so taken with it, he contacted Atmizoo and purchased one right away for himself.... and one for me!! He hadn't been by the forums for a long while, being overwhelmingly busy with the Olympics, and the Roller video was great timing for him. With much appreciation, he not only purchased one for me, (PFF), but he mentioned my DID journey to the company. How many posters do that???!! Manos, a graphic artist and designer at Atmizoo, loved the journey story and the PFF gifting spirit of Outadadark so much, that he took it upon himself to design a Celtic design with my name around it. It is an original design on a Celtic symbol that means "to move foreward with spirit and with earth". How many Vendors do that????!!!! I shed a tear of amazement and joy every day, I have been so blessed by these 3 wonderful people. The Tri is meaningful in triple ways. I will do my best to someday, PFF somehow, someway, somewhere. How many posters do that??!! God I hope I don't let ya down.

Zenesis Standard 18650 and Roller in 18650 mode (sorry about the fingerprints) Next is Twist with Clearomizer and Roller in 18650 mode (plus Mini DID)
-
Here are a few comparison pics. Please forgive the lighting, blurriness, overall pathetic picture taking skills of both camera and user. Bottoms: Zenesis Standard and Roller (Roller's serial number is on the bottom, wish you could see it!) next is Twist and Roller bottoms
-
I know, right. Great concept. I think Imeo's GG is the only other all mechanical with a side button and his is a pinkie bottom side button. (oh, and the GG copycat Adam). I forgot to mention, the buttery smoothness of the battery cap threads too. They're literally so smooth you neither hear nor feel any thing at all. Just like butter, literally. A lot of products get the "buttery" seal of approval even when you can hear a squeek or feel a bit of tension here and there. But not the Roller. The Roller deserves the "buttery seal of approval" with it's battery cap threading!
-
Every once in awhile, something comes along that makes you jump for joy. The Roller mod, for example, is one that fits the bill. This is my first impression, not really a review, more of a "CHECK THIS OUT!!!" type post. I'm putting here in the review section, but if it belongs in general or somewhere else, feel free to move as needed. Thanks! Roller mod from Atmizoo at http://www.atmizoo.com/ Completely repairable Completely all mechanical Comes with 510 connection Button on the side, towards the top Battery cap for easy change outs Beautiful ergodynamic delightful button. Telescopic features from 18350-18650 Stainless Steel construction Lifetime warranty on all SS performance parts and a 2yr warranty on all other materials. I use a ShortStop re-settable safety fuse with mine, with AW-IMR batteries. I'm sure the regular good Protected batteries will fit too. (I haven't tried, don't know). I don't have a Kick yet, but I don't know why it couldn't be used. Just roll it up to smallest length, insert Kick, extend the tube, insert battery, and vape away! It will fit in all sizes, except maybe not the 18650 without an adapter tube that is in planning production as I type. It's quality SS, beautifully engineered, beautifully crafted. It is sturdy, but not heavy, It's perfect in weight and diameter. It doesn't wobble on the table like a Twist or an LT does. It's not tall and skinny, but it's not fat like an SB either. It's about the same diameter as my Zenesis standard, except it's nicer to hold because it's lighter in weight and the button is exceptionally crazy good. Performance is great!!! I had (got!!) to take a tiny screwdriver to the 510 connection post and raise it a notch for contact with my genuine Mini DID. It has an adjustable center post!!! It fires right up, and produces like a champ. (I use a rebuildable atty, called the DID which I also love. If you find you have to hit the button for 3-5 seconds warm up before taking a draw, it's your wick and coil, not the mod!! Adjust your coil, or wick, and watch out ladies and gentlemen, cuz this combo rocks!!). The company is active on a few of the review threads on the net, actively seeking feedback that can help them improve. They are there for us, to solve any and all problems, issues, questions, and what not. They just released the Roller recently, and already have taken to heart and to task improvements for the mod. The new updated versions will be ready for release very very soon. They are in the process of testing the new improvements as I type. They will send the upgrades to all purchasers for free (minus shipping?) and then all new purchasers will be receiving the new upgraded ROLLERS from then on. Either way, you win with this mod. Buy it now and improve it when the parts are ready, or wait a day-week and buy the improved version. I'm glad I have mine now, fwiw. I can't stop rambling about how crazy good this mod is. I absolutely love it, in all it's various sizes. Here's a teaser video of it. (notice he has gripper gloves on. It glides smooth, yes, but unless you have a great snap/twist action, it takes more times than shown in video. My gson does it in about 7 snap/twist, and I do it in about 17 lol. I need more practice. But yes, it is smooth!!!) Here is a reviewer's (Romastino) take on it: disclaimer: I'm not a reviewer, I'm just an excited user.
-
sorry about the excited exclamation points. I will try to post without them from now on ... wish me luck lol. It's really difficult to not use them when the heart and mind are bouncing in a huge ball of happy.
-
haha, ain't it a beauty!!! I love my Roller mod!! It's absolutely the most perfect weight, size, and of course length. The button is fabulous, absolutely fabulous, the most comfortable button ever. dang, here I go, sounding like a salesman again lol. I can't help it!!! It's a great mod!!! and company!!! You're so going to love it!!! That's good news, about being out of stock!!! They probably pulled the first batch, to list the new batch. They took the feedback from the first purchasers, (they love helpful feedback!!) and changed a few things about it. All prior purchasers will be updated for free (minus shipping?) and all new ones will be set to go already.

It has more fiber material for the wet juice to cling to, so the juice climbs faster and the wick stays wetter for chain vapers. My 400 wick is perfect for my stye of vaping, (draw every 2-5 minutes when at pc) and I never ever get a dry hit, but even so, I'm curious to try the #500. I wonder if mine will flood? If you experience any dry times, try the #500. (304 or 316 only, as those are foodgrade and corrosion free). Overall? I would suggest sticking with what Jim at e-vape.gr sells! I'm going to try to pick up a Gemini from Jim, when I can. It's a regular DID tank, with the smaller Mini DiD cap. Good reviews on it so far. There's so many gennies out there!!! You'll be hard pressed to find a better vendor though, with all the parts ya need for their creation. It's crazy out there! Love the evolution, can't wait til more are available as easily as Jim's are. It would be fun to try them all. ::: anybody seen my lottery ticket?:::

Oh shoot, I should have shown the pic that shows the button. The pic above is the opposite of the button, with a special engraving on it. The button is to die for, I mean it's one sweet button. Here's a pic of the button's side: (hopefully. Preview won't enlarge the pic)

Yes, I believe they're repairable. It might cost a pretty penny, I don't know. You'll have to contact Altsmoke for details, of course. If you're looking for a true all mechanical mod that is definitely repairable in all areas that might ever need repairing, take a look at the new Roller mod by Atmizoo. It has a button on top side of tube, a battery cap, yet it is telescopic. (18350-18650 ). Here's a teaser video: They're at http://www.atmizoo.com/ and come with a lifetime warranty on all metal parts, 2 year warranty on all other parts. (inside the button, for instance). I mention this one to you, because the button is 10x sweeter than even the Silver Bullets. yeh, it's NICE. I just got mine yesterday, but I'm totally in love. They update for free parts that ever need upgrading for performance wise. A real nice mod, and a real nice company. A new upgrade will be released real soon, they're working overtime testing the results of their latest improvements. (top cap now fits flush with genesis mods too, and a few other things that the first purchasers discovered could/should be different. This company LISTENS!). Precise + is always a good mod too. Can't go wrong with one of these. They hit strong (pop a coil now and then even!), and last a lifetime. SuperTmanufacturing Great warranty. Caravela has wow factor and works like a champ. Most beautiful mod. ========= non-mechanical Provari VV Darwin VW Zmax uses both VV and VW (new to the market, made in China, already a popular one. Igetcha69 has a review out if you're interested)

Usa Made Pv's, Atty's/carto's, Batteries, Chargers
Uma replied to blucavvy's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Yep. With regular attys, like the joye 510's, Cisco 306's, Ava, etc... you squeeze the bottle, the juice goes up a tube, and then wets the atty. (bridgeless attys work best). It takes a lot of practice to squeeze just the right amount at the right time. They call the squeezing a squonk. A blind squonk works for all mods on all kinds of attys, but is especially helpful with the bottom feeders. The Blind squonk consists of taking a gentle no-power hit, to wet the atty. Once the atty is moist, then hit your power button and fire er up. Bottom fed attys are easier, but regular attys work well too, once the learning curves are mastered. -
Hey JDog!!! You're the amazing one! You started off with the tiniest of beasts ever, yet stuck it out til you mastered it. I learned on the regular sized DID, thank God! After my dexterity kicked in though, the Mini became my favorite. It rocks!! I joined a co-op for some of the wannabe dids, (affectionately called duds lol). They will go in my Apocalypse stockpile. They are close enough to the DID (but not quite!!!) to vape well, but with the Lead Based brass, I certainly wouldn't want to use them on a daily basis. They'll do in a pinch though, in emergencies, and for anybody who wants to learn the ropes of oxidizing and coiling to see if it's for them or not. I'm going to try the #500 mesh next. The 500 is getting great reviews, especially when combined with the 30 gauge wire. (on all genesis attys, not just the DID's). Hopefully it'll make my Zen sing like my DID. That's the funny thing about the genny's... they take turns being a p.i.a. and a great vaping beast. They all have their quirks, and they all seem to take their turns at being good or bad, depending on the wrap of the day. But, with that said, I must admit, that so far my DID's are always great!!! They're the ones for me and my style of prepping I guess. Pictures!!! Show us your pics!! I was asked, in the Status area on the front page of the forum, to show pics of the DID, and so I did, and therefore, the reason for this recent thread. Those that asked haven't appeared yet lol. Go figure! But, when they do show up, it'd be great for them to see the DID on different setups. Speaking of different setups, I have a ROLLER incoming!!! (by Atmizoo). I can't wait!!!! All mechanical, telescopic, lifetime warranty, and a top side button that makes the SB envious. As soon as customs lets go of it,... I'll post some pics! time to go remove my latest wick, dryburn the coils, retorch the wick, reinsert and try a new juice. Love the pink spot vapor juices the most so far, but dang the Irish Cream by Altcig.com rocks too. Can't wait to DIY my own flavors and try those. Post pics or it didn't happen.

Helping Smoker To Quit - Need Juice Advice Please
Uma replied to Monkey's topic in General Vaping Discussion
P.S. Tobacco flavors seem to taste better in the old fashioned cart styles, with the fluffy filler material. There is a new one out, that rocks, and I highly recommend finding one. It's called the Spheroid (which I usually spell wrong). Scott, Igethca69 has review on it that might interest you. -
Helping Smoker To Quit - Need Juice Advice Please
Uma replied to Monkey's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Congrats for your son switching over to vaping from smoking! I hope he finds juices that are to his liking. Always remember that our tastebuds keep changing. Not only just from the process of quitting smoking, but just because they do anyway. If he doesn't like a flavor today, he might love it in 6 months. He might love a flavor today and hate it in 6 months and then relike it in another 2 weeks. We are people, we are totally weird that way. With that said, he might have to join the elite club and purchase the more expensive types of ejuices, like the ones found at Want2Vape. They extract the tobacco flavor themselves, etc... Yes, he will go through more attys and cartos too, because they're always a thicker, darker juice. But... it's still cheaper than stinkers by far, not only in the monthly purchases of cigs, but in the future ICU ward as well. Oxygen tanks aren't cheap! Here's the link: http://want2vape.com/ Good luck!! Oh! I hear Swagger at PinkSpotVapor is quite good. I like the 555 cowboy, but it sounds like he won't. I haven't tried the Swagger yet, I'm too keen on their signature flavors, like B-spot and so forth. -
PBusardo has a new tutorial on youtube, on how to rebuild the VIVI Nova. He is quite surprised how easy it is to do. Just thought you all might be interested.
