I've Got 25 Did Genesis Atomizer's Too Big For Us Girls!
Uma replied to vapinmamma's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Yes, it is, just because you can switch out coils and wicks for forever and never be without an atty as long as you have plenty of extra screws on hand.... But it ain't worth over 10 bucks unless it comes with a glass tank, and those can be bought for 10 bucks from ibetanked and SHOULD be bought, to assure safety with juices. -

Apologies accepted, just don't ever do that again! hrrrmph! They are worth 10 bucks. I paid that for mine, in a coop. Just be sure to WASH everything first in hot sudsy water and rinse with Everclear/Vodka. . Memorize how it's set up, take it apart, and wash and dry that sucker, even the mesh. (boil the mesh for 5 minute intervals, changing out the water 3x). Anneal the wire right before using it. Youtube has wonderful tutorials for setting these up. Look for AlmightyGod, Igetcha69, RickWeschler, etc... The MMVapors.com site has tutorial videos too. Good luck not hating it, and just remember, it is world's apart from the genuine article. -
I so want one! The menu is great, nice KISS modes. Looking forward to hearing your take on it Jeffb. Especially the connection.. is it sealed, press fitted, soldered, you know the drill.

I joined Twitter, to enter a contest, but I've never used it, not ever, and don't know how to to do it. Looks like it's time to learn though...

Hi JDog! Recovering from a flu bug, but otherwise doing great. I hope you're doing well too! Wait til you see the new Poldiak on it's way to the shelf soon. OMG! Yep, I have a few of these. (have to buy more than one, just so you have the spare parts if you loose one). There is no comparison, to be honest, in craftsmanship and planning. But, it does work, and will get one by in a pinch. I have one sitting, waiting for a refill, but I'll be :::insert naughty word here::: if I'm going to refill it any time soon if I don't absolutely have to. The fill hole is so tiny, complete with itsy bitsy microscopic screw to put back in it. GOOD LUCK WITH ThaT! A lot of users just stick in a toothpick and call it a day. The wick hole is itsy bitsy too. Have fun rolling that toothpick sized wick... and wrapping it... and the wick is too far away from the center post, so you have to bend it towards the post... AND, it's overall BIGGER than the mini DID it was copied from LOL LOL LOL. The Mini DID is overall smaller, and fits the ego perfectly. The clone hangs over 2mm bigger and uglier. Yet, the holes are TINY. The important parts are itty bitty useless. (without adlibbing). The wick, is smaller, won't hold as much juice, more dry hits. AND IT tastes like Machine Oil even after it's been washed in sudsy water first. SOOO, be sure to give it a hot sudsy bath, and then rinse it in Everclear Vodka, for a good final rinse. Let dry overnight! and then some. And the insulators suck!! Don't even get me started on the poor quality insulators that are supposed to prevent a hard short... The ONLY difficult part the genuine mini DID has, is the new SS thumbscrew for the negative post can get in the way if you like to wrap your coil with the mesh in the hole. Take the mesh out, then wrap it! Or pick up the short screw (brass) one that he has on site. Problem solved. But, yes, for an emergency Rebuildable, it's a good enough one, for the price. OHHH, and make sure you get a PolyCarb or Pyrex tank for them, because the clone tanks are NOT SS, they are chrome plating over gold plating over some kind of brass or something. (unknown material that could be hazardous maybe). Ibetanked has the pyrex tanks on site. It ticks me off whenever anybody calls these stupid clones by the name of the genuine article. Thems fighting words with me. Imagine calling the LavaTube a Provari all the time. grrrrrr. lol My apologies if I come off too strong for you. Believe me, it's not too strong for how I feel! -

Those are CLONES!! They are NOT DID's!!! FFS, at least get that part right. I hate the Clones, they really suck. But the original genuine DID's and Mini DID's, from MMVapors.com ROCK!! To mis-REPRESENT such a fine product as the genuine DID family is slanderous, obnoxious, and just plain repulsive. Get it together. You are false advertising at best. A clone is a clone is a clone is a clone. And the dud/chid/gifford/ is not a very good clone even at that. But it works. That's all it's got going for it. It's worth 10 bucks for the zombie days. -
Certain types of attys provide more intense TH too. Just by turning the airhole away from the wick, will intensify most Th's.

WOW WOW WOW!! What a great idea. So useful! I need one for growing DID collection. Fantastic, Mark!!

My free update is on it's way, it's been mailed, tracking number sent! More good news!! : On Friday, November 23, at 22:00 GMT, a small flock of Rollers and a pack of Dingos will appear at www.atmizoo.com. In order to process the incoming orders as fast as possible, and in an effort to make the opportunities equal for everyone, we have decided to split the new batch of Rollers and Dingos in small groups, and distribute their availability over multiple dates. The second group of Rollers / Dingos will land on Monday, November 26, at 20:00 GMT, with the next one following closely. Till tomorrow, then! Regards, Team Atmizone (sorry I'm late in posting this, but my router was broke)

haha, my tongue was brown BEFORE I started vaping, now it's a healthy pink. (unless I drink instant coffee... ewwww). haha, my tongue's craters were buried under layers of disgusting tar buiildup, before I started vaping. Now I have cute little taste "buds" dancing in delight. What do I say? I say, send your DR. good info from CASAA.org, point him to the Cardiologist's huge convention, Dr. Seigals(sp) blog, and tell him/her to get with the program and OFF the propaganda that is poisoning his/her mind and possibly killing his/her patients because they're too scared to switch due to the ANTZ poisonous propaganda. and go visit a different Dr. repeat as necessary.

Help Me Get E-Cigs Unbanned! My College Has Banned Them
Uma replied to mdee4's topic in Vaping Legislation & Regulation News
Have you sent them info from Casaa yet? They have tons of helpful, fact filled, info, including links to the Physicians blogs, Cardiologists reports, and so forth. They will even help you with your presentation if you need that. Good luck! -
So far, the only proof, is via patients and their doctors. The ecig world, to date, doesn't have the funds to prove anything, that's why we went for the "tobacco" label. Doctors, the world over, are astounded by the health improvements of their patients. That's proof enough for me that they are more beneficial than harmful.

How Would I Get A Real Cig Nicotine Kick?
Uma replied to willmon22's topic in The Vape Lounge - Off Topic Chat
Certain juices provide varying levels of full body and/or throat hit. Boba's Bounty has body, it has a weight to the vapor (most batches). You might want to try that. Menthol has kick to it, and the flavor tells your body you had a smoke. Combine the two a little bit and ... I don't know, haven't done that yet. The cool menthol might cancel the warm weight of the Boba. Rebuildable genesis atomizers, with their Stainless Steel wicks, provide such a good delivery of nicotine that most of us have had to lower our nic mg. (if you go that route, watch and rewatch every tutorial available on youtube. Igetcha69, AlmightyGod, Rweschler, MarkTodd, and so many others. Great instructors out there!). -
Has Anyone Used A Rebuildable Atomizer Did Clone?
Uma replied to willmon22's topic in General Vaping Discussion
The genesis atomizers use a stainless steel mesh wick and there's quite a learning curve to it. They are for the more advanced vapers. There's a lot to it, but they're so worth it. The wick will last months, and the coils will last anywhere from 2-6 weeks and they're cheap and fairly easy to recoil once you've mastered how. Very frustrating until the wick and coil are mastered. I received my new BAM today, so when I took pics of it, I tossed in some comparison shots of the size differences between the genuine Mini DID (with the pink Drip Tip on it) and the clone Did, on the eGo Twist and on the Vision Spinner. Clone on the eGo Twist: and Mini DID on the Spinner Clone on the Spinner and Mini DID on the TWIST . -
Has Anyone Used A Rebuildable Atomizer Did Clone?
Uma replied to willmon22's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I have the genuine DiD20 and the genuine Mini DID, and the clone ones just came the other day. (from a coop). It works! But it ain't no genuine in any sense of the word. But it works. The screws are really really tiny, and a big pain to set into place long enough to get the feather weight allen wrench to tighten them. I would suggest using a magnetic allen wrench if you have one or a set of tweezers until you do get one. The wick hole is also a lot smaller than the genuine's. It works, but you won't be able to experiment with fat wicks and the such. Materials are, of course, questionable. Be aware of any scratched areas that come into contact with the liquid. Extra parts are really hard to find for the clone. (o-rings, insulators, center posts, nuts, screws, etc). and trust me, you'll lose a nut or something first thing... so, be sure to order at least 2 clones when you order one. Good news is, ibetanked has clear tanks for them! So yeah, it's a good little way to get your feet wet, learn the ropes, experience the joy of not having to "baby" an atty or carto until you can buy another. Just tweak it, recoil it, remove a coil, .... and experience the newfound love of fiddleling. Just know, that the genuine article, the DID from MMVapors.com is top notch in build, performance, and user friendly sized holes, nuts and screws. Plus all the parts are stocked, and never have to worry about loosing a nut or screw or anything. Ibetanked is also making clear tanks for the genuine DID too. (and they will be on site soon). Comparison: Clone = 16mm base, with 0.8mm screw hole and 2mm wick hole. (or even smaller). I don't know the exact measurements, but I bet I'm close! Genuine Mini DID that the clone copied from = 14mm base, with 1.8mm screw sized fill hole, with 2.8mm wick hole. The screws are also knurled user friendly thumb screws. Clone= larger unit, with smaller holes and screws. Genuine= smaller unit with larger holes and screws. Yes, the clone's work, but they are NOT exactly like the original in any way. Just so you all know this when you're trying to put that dang fill screw back in so you can get to work on time. oh, and p.s. the original does not leak even when layed down, as long as it's set up as the creator intended. (with fill screw, etc). I've heard that the Clone does leak, so be prepared.... (might be the o-ring or something?) Good luck and have fun!!! Once you have a rebuildable, you'll never go back. (except, of course, for emergency standbys, like that dang hot spot you just can't find atm) -
I picked up a chrome one from madVapes, it should be in on Monday. (stuck in SF right now). It's going to match my SS Mini DiD real nicely. Can't wait! They didn't have purple... Gotvapes is next in line. Thanks for the link!

Sounds great, and am adding it to my wish list.

How To Build A Easy & Inexpensive 3.7 V Wood Mod (Image Heavy)
Uma replied to Sonar505's topic in Modders Forum
This is great!! Thanks for the tutorial. I might even try it myself. -
My Spinner is due in tomorrow. I'm looking forward to being able to read the setting. My twist is impossible and sometimes I forget which direction is the LR one lol. (dumb blond under the crazy purple).

I'm so sorry for your predictament. Hang in there! If you can get to a farmstore, they have VG (just make sure it's the food grade kind). The Grocery Stores and even craft stores have the PG (again, make sure it's food grade), usually in the Cake sections. Also, you might want to try the International Vapers Club. They are rounding up helpers and supplies to try to help the folks in your situation. http://www.internationalvapersclub.com/ Good luck to you!!!

Lots of nice packages expected for everyone since my last visit here. Right on. I've been saving my pennies for a new big RBA, either the Foggatti or the AC9, but then Jim the DID-man tailor made the new 18650 DId (out in Dec) complete with matching mod to make it look Hybrid but we can still take it apart and use however we dang well need or want to atm. Soooo, with excitement brewed in my heart for upcoming purchases and with a fever to save even more pennies, .... I blew it.... and am now expecting VapeMail from... TheGreen... a BAM!!!!... from his prized blemished collection. MadVapes... Spinner!!... .love my Twist but can't read it like we can the Spinners RTDVapors.. batteries... for my BAM!! now I need to really hustle and get those funds built back up or I'll lose out on my new hyDID. I'm collecting old sneakers and aluminum cans to selll on eBay if anyone has any extras they need to get rid of lol.

I echo the Noalox idea. I've had a few cones in the past that I always had to keep noaloxed, while other cones were just fine without it.
-
Until I got my rebuildable attys, I was convinced that puddles and eGo's were just a part of life. Some types puddled worse than other types and the lanyard took care of the stickiness for me. So far the RBA's I've tried are the only non-puddling attys in my arsenal. The Vivi Nova's don't leak? I've really got to give those a try then. If I'm happy with them, then maybe my friends and neighbors won't hate me so much after I've given them a set or a nod. lol.

I really like this one, especially the menu. It's simple, like the original LT was. I would want it true tuned though. What company makes it?
