  1. haha, yeh, those are really nice for the buck too. They should be after all the work, communicating, that Rusalka and Sanjose put into it for the coop folk. (which, incidentally, finally went live yesterday!). But, I still like the user-friendly menu of the Vamo much better. We need Rusalka and Sj to host an SS Vamo coop!
  2. The NiteCore intellicharger i4 is a good one... charges all sizes, even the 25**** . Don't even need spacers for the 18350's either, cuz it's spring loaded. Wow, well, now I know one of the corner cutting procedures they took in order to keep the price way low. I'm sure there'll be a jimmy-rig fix for it soon. Liquid nails, duct tape and baling twine, rubber band bungee cord, drills and gasket screws, .... That's a shame. Hopefully, in time, they'll come up with a good overall quality built one without any cut corners. I'm sure we'll all jump on them, knowing how much we love the cheap version. I'm awaiting JeepBear's next coop for the SS version.
  3. Okay.. as far as I can tell, the *S* isn't available in the US yet, I also discovered that the AGA-T2 or T+ will be available after January. The AGA-T is overall an okay clone... it has it's cons, compared to a genuine article, but overall it's okay. You can pick up the AGA-T easily enough, here and there, (just don't get a shiney shiney one, the super shiney ones are chrome over brass clones of the clones lol). The AGA-T was supposed to be all ss, but they snuck in a chrome plated brass center post tube... which sits in the juice well, which is not a good thing to do... but it is okay to use until you can replace the center tube or buy the new REALLY ss AGA-S. AGA-T is your best bet until the AGA-S or AGA-T2 or AGA-T+ come to the states... Clouds of Vapor has some in stock, and the price varies everywhere you find them. Be sure to pick up an OHM meter reader thingie too, here's one at COV while you're there. You'll be using it every new coil, it will pay for itself in no time.
  4. It's personal preference, and some vapers mix the two. (thread a thread around the mesh and dangle) I, personally, prefer the SS mesh, There is a huge ongoing debate over the silica fibers shedding or not. You'll have to do some heavy researching and derive your own opinion for your own needs. Honey, if *I* can learn how to coil a genesis, anybody can! There are tons of tutorials on the net, look for Scott (igetcha69), Mark Todd, Almighty God, JunkyRock, RWeshler, .... the list goes on and on... The AGA-T-S is easily found in various coops around the many forums, and a lot of vendors are starting to stock them too. The Vendors, unfortunately, have a way of renaming things, which makes a simple google search most difficult. Really stupid move if you ask me. Come on, I want the AGA-S and how am I supposed to find it in YOUR store when YOUR store brands them as Gargoyles or XYZ's or whatever stupid name you come up with. But, with that said, the AGA-T's are sold as AGA-T's in some stores, and hopefully, those same stores will be carrying the AGA-S and will keep the AGA-S name.... ... I'll go search with you, cuz I want to try one firsthand myself, so I will :"know" the quirks, and plusses of it. (I don't believe hype) First one back wins the right to post first!
  5. Nothing is completely harmless. Woe to the person who stands over the stove breathing in the bacon vapors with grease literally coating their lungs. Woe to the person jogging alongside the roadway deeply breathing in the exhaust fumes from passing cars as well as the factories outputs of the day. Woe to the housebound, who breathes in carpet chemicals, fire retardant chemically treated furniture/clothes/carpets/paneling, dust, cooking fumes, spray pam, oven cleaners, lysol cleaners, and so much more. Woe to the country person breathing in tractor fumes, dust, pollen, cow farts... With that said, vaping surely is 99% safer than smoking T-cigs. That's a no-brainer. T-cigs literally have smoke that is filled with glue toxins, and thousands of chemicals and toxins. Switching from smoking to vaping, one finds tremendous improvements in their breathing and overall lifestyle. Wheezing disappears, coughing slows to disappears, rosy cheeks suddenly appear ... Even COPD patients are reporting in with IMPROVEMENTS in their health. But, until the vaping world can shell out the millions of $$$$$$ for the $$$$$ lab reports, we can't prove it on paper.
  6. Welcome to VaporTalk and congrats for switching over to vaping!! I don't change mine until either: 1. It doesn't produce very well (weak & dying) 2. It doesn't produce at all (dead) The burnt taste you're experiencing is more than likely due to too hot of a coil burning your particular juice. Every flavor and mix has it's own preference ... some like a cool coil, some like it hot. When it tastes burnt, just take it out and rinse it off good, let dry, then try a cooler setting on your mod. This is where VV mods come in real handy. If you don't have a VV mod, but if you do have wire, your can recoil it, using an extra wrap or two. If the taste still tastes burnt, you might want to toss it, set it aside, and try another. The Viva's readings can be sporadic. Sometimes, for instance, a 3.0 ohm coil will actually be a 1.8 or something. It happens. Just beware and prepared to switch out. The tinted juice, is usually caused from runback... of juice that went up the hot coil and back down again into the tank several times. It's usually not anything to worry about. Discoloration is normal, especially when the vape is too hot for the juice. Hope this helps.

    Roller Mod

The Kick Extension is out! Mine is in mat finish, to compliment the mat finish etching I showed you earlier. I love it! Also, the new updates, ... silver plated connection switch, and the recessed 510 connections ... have arrived and are working flawlessly.
  8. I've never regretted diving into the world of rebuildables. I did, however, start off with a genuine DID20. It has lots of space for training your dexterity. I've since purchased and really love the genuine Mini DID and the Gemini. But, for under 50 bucks, I'm afraid you'll be stuck with the clones. The clones out there all got their start from half-*** copying the Mini DID. There is no comparison between the genuine and the clone, when it comes to craftsmanship and materials. But, with that said, the clones do provide a nice cheap entry level for learning the ropes. The first clones on the market ... suffer. But have since been upgraded gradually through it's copied predesessors.(sp). I would go with the AGA-S (stainless steel mostly). The new "S" version is mostly SS, if not all, plus the screws are actually normal instead of microsopic imbeciles. I don't know if they've improved the insulators or not, but hopefully they have. In short, AGA-S (the really ss version of the promised ss AGA-T) .
  9. I echo all the wonderful positive comments about Brian and his store. TOP NOTCH!!! Heck, he replaced my order just because it MIGHT not be a good enough product. I was astounded, and still am to be honest. Brian is a real gem in the vaping business.
  10. Of all the times to be grounded from watching videos. (bandwidth overages). What does you say? How do we enter?
  11. That figures... 10 extra bucks for a crummy (yet beautiful) finish. Glad to hear the spacers are working for you! Oh! Altsmoke and Provape both have the right sized springs (hot springs at that), to fit the Vamo's. (Silver Bullet and Provari). Altsmoke is sold out atm, gee, I wonder why lol.
  12. Wait. Is the Gunmetal just another word for the black chrome or is it a different treatmetn? I hear the Black Chrome is coming off...
  13. Has this been resolved yet? Too late for the 15-30% of Xmas sale, but would still like to know how the issue was (or wasn't) solved.
  14. Wow, that doubly sucks. I didn't know it was a V2. They really really need to take care of you and all their customers. Thanks for the headsup on them! I almost purchased the gunmetal V2 today (last day of their not so incredible coupon savings) after realizing I had missed the SS one at the coop. (I'm so bummed! Missed it by one day). I've heard that an LED Flashlight spring works great in it. Got any extra flashlights or know when your neighbors aren't around?
  15. More Skinz! I don't know if these leave residue or not, I know the other place, Jwraps, doesn't. You'll have to ask and see, but here's the link. http://www.vaporskinz.com/collections/vamo-vapor-skinz?page=1 (Vamo, SB, etc)
  16. They now carry the V2 Vamo, which has a longer spring. Maybe they can send you a new V2 cap now?
  17. When I'm totally stressed, I need more. I will even turn to T-cigs during great depressive times, but other than those times, my average nic intake has dropped tremendously overall. I have 3 different flavors with 3 different levels of nic in each, and I vape according to my needs, without "falling behind" in nic needs. There are times that I can go for a good 4 hours on 0-mg alone, as long as it's an out of this world can't put it down flavor. My tobacco flavor is 24 strength, because when I need tobacco, I need tobacco! My 18mg mix is usually cappuchino or Irish Cream, but the Irish Cream is good at 6mg for me. A lot of it depends on the juice itself, the flavor, the mod, and most of all, the type of delivery system. I find that the Genesis style attys will make me dizzy at 24mg, and even 18mg. We're all different, and that's why there's so many options out there. Finding the ones that suit us at different times of the day is the key.
  18. My prayers go out to all who were affected. This was a sad sad day and I hope and pray the last of it's kind. Via, your point is sadly valid. Let's hope and pray that the taxes will no longer be misused and abused so that proper healthcare (mental, physical, dental) can be achieved as was promised years ago before greed stepped up to the plate.
  19. I like Rush Limbaugh's thoughts about it all. It's time to take our freedom back! It's time to stare down the stare people and make THEM use a little common courtesy. It's just VAPOR. They should be dancing in the streets, celebrating the fact that I've found a safer alternative. So yeh, here's your brochure, do you want me to read it to you too?
  20. Welcome to VaporTalk!! I would go with the eGo-TWIST right off. It's one that she'll use even after she's graduated to Provari's and Genesis's. It offers sleek build, and adjustable power. They come in a variety of colors, and the colored ones have a nice rubberized coating for non-slip as well as for warmth during the winter. The Cartomizers to set up with it, is quite varied. I understand the Kanger V2's are nice. The Viva Nova's are nice. (I use a Genesis style atty, so I'm kind of blank when it comes to the new and improved versions of carto's and attys). Soon, other posters will be in to guide you with the nice setups. I doubt many will omit the TWIST, it's a super eCig for newbies and veterans alike.
  21. OMG!!! That fits me to a tee. Hilarious!! Thanks for sharing this Kitsune.
  22. I agree, that discretion is important. But making Vapers hide or feel like junkies is total hogwash. Smokers have a right to see the alternatives to smoking T-cigs, Children also are the biggest spokesmen ever for getting their parents and peers off T-cigs and when they notice a E-cig, they immediately ask questions in hopes of helping their loved ones to switch over too. Children are smarter than grown-ups apparently, because they know that reducing or omitting the TAR and TOXINS and CRAP from T-cigs has GOT to be 99% healthier. But then, if the E-cigs are forever hidden from view, and nobody knows there is an alternative, then big pharma can't push their Chill Pills when somebody needs a calming dose of nicotine. If Big Pharma goes broke, so do the many organizations that were formed to get us to quit "smoking T-cigs. Even so, discretion should be advised no matter if we're vaping an e-cig or mixing a drink. Just don't make us HIDE like Criminals.
