The #400 fine A1 is 6.99 in euros. (plus, don't forget, they send a same sized sheet of a different size for free with it).
-
SS is so beautiful, and strong, and can be polished or brushed, or left alone. I agree, one can't beat SS nor can one ever have too many mods! (especially when the classifieds are right around the corner for the soon forgotten old ones)

See post above.

A sheet is 140mm x 250mm (size of a regular magazine). You can cut quite a few 2mm x 3mm sheets (or 1.5.. x 2mm for the smaller wick holes in the clones). I don't do math. But I can toss ya the numbers for you to solve. (then you can tell me ok, cus, really, I really don't do math).

Sweet!!!! Best of luck, and if you need any help, just let out a holler. (i'm at the pc off and on throughout most days). Be sure to wash-n-dry it good before wick/coiling and you'll be in for a nice flavorful treat. Congrats!

haha, yes, it can be pricey with the shipping, unless you enter a coop for it.. The good news is, they send you a free sheet of different size to try with every sheet you order. If you buy 2, you'll get 4. (a lifetime's worth for most). McMaster and Carr is a good place too, a lot of vapers get theirs there. Make sure it's the right "grade", it can get confusing at all the places. I still to this day have to rely on the direct link from another vaper lol.

Pictures or it didn't happen. Love the LTV2 looks and sounds, can't wait to try one myself. It sounds like you've purchased a nice kit and are receiving great feedback from knowledgeable carto users. Got pics? lol, here I go again. Can't resist.

Any New Variable Power Mods On The Horizon?
Uma replied to Rixter's topic in General Vaping Discussion
You're welcome! Happy to help when I can. My pleasure. -
It sounds to me like you're ready to start building your own to suit. The Rebuildable Atomizers are great, I have the Genesis type (ss mesh wick) and absolutely love it. There are dripping rebuildables available too. (silica rope) There are ones like the Spheroid, with carto fluff filler, but the fluff never gets burnt because it never touches the coil. (great for tobacco flavors ). Even the non-dripping Genesis type attys are easy to change out the juice, with a syringe. Plus you can still drip on them if you want, just don't forget to replace the top cap! ouch!

This is where I (most of us) buy. Scroll down a little and you'll see 400 and then the 500 in big flat sheets (size of a manilla envelope big) http://themeshcompany.com/acatalog/25-micron-super-fine-mesh.html

Oldie Just Visiting - Hi! And Happy New Year!
Uma replied to ddavelarsen's topic in New Vapers Forum
Good to see you Dave and Happy New Year to you too! I hope you get a chance to hang with us more often again. -
What Caseace just said, I echo.

I so agree with you & Blu, you can never have too many mods. Good choices! I hope to get two Poldiacs by this time next year. (lot of saving up to do!). But when I have two of them, I will feel free to devote one of them into a hyDiD, and also by the end of the year I'll have a better idea of which atty to devote to it. The other one, I'll leave free to use with any atty. I love how we can make the choice between wild and free or tied down and committed. The Orion V3 sounds like a nice one too. Everyone loves their Orions.

Congrats and Happy Annivapesary!!!

Any New Variable Power Mods On The Horizon?

VV is great, in that you can adjust your mod's volts to suit your atty. VW is great, in that the mod will adjust it's volts itself, to suit your atty. Atty's change ohms as they heat up, or die out, or just because they can. The VW helps to keep a steady pace until the last puff. VV can do that too, with a push of the button to increase or decrease your volts as needed. VW uses up more battery, as a general rule, but it's well worth it. For instance, I use mechanical mods mostly, and love love love a fresh (hour off the charger before 1st use), battery at 4.2. The VW will let me vape a consistent equivalent to 4.2 until the battery is depleted at a safe 3.6 or 3.8. The batteries never get totally drained with the VW, which helps your batteries live longer overall. -
Most mechanical mods are the typical 3.7. A few, however, hit harder, such as the Precise Plus, the Caravela, the Roller (with it's updated silver switch), and the Poldiac. The Caravela took top honors of hardest hitting, best looking mod until the Poldiac came out recently. The Poldiac has a Silver plated over brass Switch connection... Silver makes 105% contact. The P+ is Rhodium(sp) which hits hard too, but not as hard as silver. Long story short, because the connection is 105% strong, there is no loss of current, no volt drop. It takes single battery, and there are 3 different tube sizes. 18350, 18500, 18650 and rumor has it there will be a 25*** out this coming year too. It can be Kicked too. It is a 3.7v that hits as powerful as a 4.8v with a regular aw-imr or like a 6v with an MNKE-IMR battery. It's the combo of battery and switch... plus of course your ohms on your atty. Being a Mechanical mod, it can easily handle the amps tossed at it, unlike the electronical ones that can handle 3-5 amps.

psssst, the Vamo comes in SS too guys, not just chrome plated brass. Vamo most certainly has the edge, imho, because of it's user friendly menu and price. But, if I were looking for a mod that holds up over time, I would chuck all the electrical ones and go with the Mechanical ones like the Poldiac. Honest. But then, not everyone can handle a mechanical mod hitting like a 6v mac truck. :P

Heather's Heavenly Vapes and Ahlusion both have top notch tobacco vapes. Gandalf is one of the most popular, for instance. -
Any New Variable Power Mods On The Horizon?
Uma replied to Rixter's topic in General Vaping Discussion
There is bound to be tons of new VV/VW mods out on the market this new year, what with the Nivel Chip and the new Kick DNA20 and lord knows what else is being born as I type. -
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!
-
Chuck em all and get the best mechanical mod on the market. The Poldiac. It even puts the Caravela in number 2 spot.
-
It didn't make since to me either, but that's the word that came down the pipeline. (hehe, pardon the pun)

So, I asked around, and from what I gather, they are supposed to be slip on in order to keep the wires from twisting up. Most of them stay together, but a few, like yours, have indeed slid apart. Hopefully the store where you bought it will be able to replace it. The next one should be stout, according to the odds...

We're not experts, we're just experienced users. We're all different. As for me, stopping vaping would not improve my fitness ... in fact, it would deteriorate my fitness!... why? because I would go back to full time smoking. I'm addicted, and vaping satisfies my every need. Shoot, even the nic helps to alleviate my alztimers symptoms, if I remember right. It also reduces my blood pressure, because I'm not ST R E S S I N G for a smoke. Which also means that it's lowering the BP of my family and friends because I am oh so much kinder than I would be otherwise. Talk to your Doc. Only he/she KNOWS you, your condition, your habits, your needs, your needs. Besides, it would be a great way to "officially" keep track of how you're doing since your switched from smoking to vaping, as well as how you are doing since. If you're a non-smoker, starting vaping for chits and giggles,.... delete delete delete. YET, under a DOC's supervision, it'd be interesting to see the reports, if you're so bent on inhaling something besides our good old toxic air all around us everywhere we go. Heck, the PG mix will probably heal all your woes as far as that goes. But, only your DOC can examine the data on you as it comes in. We can't.

Go figure eh! It's supposed to be a new improved AGA-T. After the first, I'll be able to hunt down some vids on it. The ukvapors.org forum probably has the best scoop on them, because the S and the W both are still across the pond there.
