Does Amount Of Ohms Change The Flavor Of The Ejuice?
Uma replied to willmon22's topic in General eLiquid Discussion
Fewer coil wraps, produce a faster vapor. More coil wraps produce a more flavorful experience, but takes longer to heat. -
Congrats! I hope it works great. I'm pretty sure the tank is larger than with the S version. Looking forward to your pics and review!

and they don't puddle pee in the 510 connector! (well, my genuine DID series don't/haven't). Nor do these leak when laid down as long as they're put together right (wick and refill hole). They do condensate a bit, but that's no biggie. (all delivery systems condensate lol)

Alien Visions - Becoming Too Much Of A Hassle?
Uma replied to Deadpool809's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Why don't they sell for royalties the recipe so that another company or two can make the same batch? -
MSE nailed the definition. The Kick will eat your battery life, but hey, if you want a steady vape until the last 2 puffs, it's the way to go. I got mine from Altsmoke.com where the SB is sold. Sign up for their newsletter and for the notify me option. There is now a new DNA20 Kick out, but I don't know how or if it fits into the general Kick Extenders out there. Only time will tell. But, as the name implies, it will handle higher watts. The regular Kick is nice for most vapers, it goes up to 12 watts I believe. Most of us vape at 8-10 watts. (like as if the battery were fresh kicking at 4.2 with an LR atty attached).

I purchased it a few months back, but haven't yet tried it. (my old wick is working so nice, I hate to disrupt the flow). A lot of vapers do swear by the 500... you'll have to try it in differing rolled styles to find your preference with it. (normal hole, no hole, big hole, tight wrap, loose wrap, double walled wrap, normal wrap, etc). Your particular atty's wick hole size also comes to play with the results. It's more expensive than the 325 or 400, but well worth it. The gauge of coil wire preferred with it is 30 gauge, and some vapers prefer 28... but... oh, and some of course still prefer the 32g... it all depends on the roll, and how many wraps... Some vapers even experimented and liked the 600 gauge mesh, but... wow, is that ever expensive and it doesn't improve over the 400/500 range. Clear as mud lol?

Nice introduction of the Poldiac, CaseAce! Yours is absolutely gorgeous. The Polished Brass one in the second photo above is MY Poldiac!!! and it's here! It arrived yesterday. MSE, it's expensive, but it's because of the quality, built for life quality. It hits like a truck too, because of the silver. The button is ... oh gosh I feel like a traitor, BUT... the button is even nicer than the button on the Roller mod. (and THAT is saying a LOT, because the Roller has the most comfortable button in the history of mods.. until now). They both feel just as smooth, BUT, the Poldiac's let's your finger/or thumb rest more naturally in between vapes. If it were a VV mod, it would be less than the Provari. Provari is top of the line electronical mod, and the Poldiac is top of the line all Mechanical mod. Yet, it's still cheaper than the Provari when all is said and done. (blue or green LED, extra insurance, extender tube,... all the things that should be included in the original asking price). The Poldiac comes with 3 different sized battery tubes! It's almost like getting 3 for the price of one... and if you don't like one size, you're not stuck having to use that one size you don't like afterall. OHH! and the AMPS .... a Provari has something like a 3.5 amp limit, right? The mechanical mods have like an outrageous Amp limit. The better quality the mod, the higher the Amp rating. (20??) and the clothes. Wow, the choices for the clothes are sweet. If and when my Brass discolors, I'm not stuck with an ugly mod, I just go buy a new suit and voila. I'm so excited. This is one NICE mod, in looks, in craftsmanship, in service and in performance. Here's a blurry pic of mine, taken with my tracphone camera. My apologies if my excitement hijacked the thread. I only aim to applaud and confirm, but kinda got carried away. and then came back and added the AMPS stuff. I go now.... honest...

CaseAce!! That's beautiful!!! Mine came in yesterday. I don't have pics of it with the Gemini on it yet, but here's one pic without the atty attached. (dumb tracPhone camera). :toast:

I do know that the Volt's can use other 808 brands of carto's and stuff and I'm almost certain V4L is one of them, but you'd have to ask SmokelessImage which brands of carto's they are compatible with. I'm in the dark with your questions, but I'll keep an ear out as I hop around the forums. Hopefully I'll run across some info for you.

Thank you for sharing your heartwarming experience with us. I wish there were a Vape shop in my area. It sounds like you have a keeper.

There's a lot of good mods on the market today. I would suggest starting off with an eGo Twist or Vision Spinner, even though they're not really a "mod", they are definitely a step up from the old Riva's. They are Variable Volt up to 4.8. Do you want an all Mechanical Mod or do you want an electronic mod with all the bells and whistles? (VV, VW, VV&VW,). The Silver Bullet is still a good choice to this day, and they now have Kick Extensions too. I still use mine during outdoor chores, because it fits perfect in my back jean pocket and always easy to get or put away. The Silver Bullet (SB for short), is a simple 3.7, but the button does have wiring, which means it's not an all mechanical mod, and because it's simply just 3.7 (unless Kicked), it's also not considered an electronic mod. It's the go-to in between mod. It's not fancy or hard hitting, like the more expensive mods, (Poldiac, P+, Caravela,Roller, Dingo, etc) or with the electronicalized ones like the Provari, Darwin, etc) , but it's a nice workhorse. I don't think I'll ever part with mine, it's just too handy of a mod.

I can't wait for version 2 to come out, I bet it will be even badder.

oh shoot, the bolded words didn't stay bolded. Now it's all running together.

In a shorthand version type of way, I do Jeff, lol. There's no gaps, they look like one solid piece, from the mod to the atty. (because they are!) It's an RBA & a mechanical mod, joined at the hip. The joining locks the two together, omitting the need for a regular finnicky 510 connection. Because there is now a solid unifying unit, this means that the mod/atty work together more efficiently. There is no loss of current, the volt drop is miminalized, and the overall vape is just lovely. Cons: If you have a broken button or a bad atty day (can't seem to get rid of a hot spot in your coils or something), you can't use the mod at all, it just becomes a paperweight until you figure out that short or until you fix the broken button or whatever is ailing your device. Solution: Make sure you have extra mod or two that you actually love using, and, of course, some extra RBA's to tinker with. One always needs backups. Once you have backups, once you know have the RBA mastered (which is really simple, honest!!, it's just frustrating at first), it's a no-brainer to own a hybrid. Some of the most popular to date: Orion V2 or is it V3 or both? Orion V in any case. Ihybrid brand new to the market this year, very nice affordable aluminum mod. The limited Red Dragon edition is the most popular, but they're all nice. Can be found at 310vapers Hellfire is the most coveted... there are only a few out there. Put this in your dream list. Zenesis has quite a few models out, but most of them are "limited" editions. (Cobalt, Bam, etc) However, the Standard and the Mini are always available when they are available. The MINI is the better out of the two. (they're heavy!) The Sidewinder is new and is a big hit as far as I know. electronicstix is selling them I believe. SilverDog is brand new to the market, and is getting the quirks and kinks ironed out still. But once ironed out, it's going to be a bigger hit, because it's the easiest out of all of them to refill. There are tons more out there, I've just skimmed the surface!!! And now we have the Hybrid KITS!! MMVapors is coming out with a HYBRID KIt. yep. A Kit. Actually, 2 different hybrid kits. One allows us to turn our DID's into a Hybrid (DID is an RBA by MMVapors) The other one lets us turn the Poldiac into a Hybrid (with any RBA I believe). HyDID and a PolDID or visa versa. Clear as mud?

I like to buy 0mg of the same (this month's favorite whatever that may be) flavor that I vape a lot of. That makes it so much easier to dilute my regular 18mg flavor down even more as wanted/needed. Certain delivery systems are stronger than others, such as the RBA's, and being able to dilute the nic without loosing flavor is priceless in my book. 0mg has it's merits

As your sense of smell improves, the stinkier they will get. Yep, even our own farts stink. Impossible to contemplate before now, I know. Sometimes I get extra gas & Idon't know why. But I do know, that if given enough time,it passes.

I'm averaging 4-6ml a day. Like Mike, I avged 3 10ml bottles a week when first starting. But with every dropped T-cig, more vaping took place, so it gradually increased accordingly. Now I can put away 4-6ml without problem, because of the delivery device I'm using is a thirsty one. (Genesis Rebuildable Atty). Therefore, I always have 2 gennys going per day, and sometimes 3 gennys... all with different flavors, and all alternated to suit. Much better than 1/2 T-cigs and 1/2 juice!!

3.7 on a fresh 4.1 battery in my Mechanical mod, with ohms set below 1.5, usually about 0.9 on my RBA

Looking For A Good Tabacco Flaver
Uma replied to freecountry420's topic in General eLiquid Discussion
LiquidXpress has a wonderful Honey Flu Cured Tobacco in their prefilled cartos, and I usually just bleh the prefilled cartos in general. SteelJan says that Altsmoke's NICquid Midnight Express(?) is a really nice tobacco vape. -
What Is The Mod Of Choice These Days?
Uma replied to Deadpool809's topic in General Vaping Discussion
No problem MSE!!! No problem. -
I clean my RBA tanks with Vodka all the time. Just syringe it in, swish, syringe it out, repeat with clean shot. Vodka dries fast, evaporates nicely, plus is a nice sanitizer to boot.

The Caravela is a real beauty in looks and performance. There is a long waiting list for it, about 3 months long I believe. If you're not ready for the Caravela now, you will be ready by the time your order is due. The Caravela had zero competition until the Poldiac arrived. The Wizards Apprentice was close, in looks, but not in performance. The Caravela and the Poldiac both excel. Some of the Caravela users are saying that the Poldiac has it beat in the performance dept. (and subjectively, some say in the looks, some don't). Bookmark that page honey, and treat yourself to a super fine mod on your 1st vaping anniversary. He has his own forum, I think it's Caravela.com or something. Oh! And save for the Poldiac too. After you see mine, you'll be blown away.
