Dang, the Black Mamba is nice too. I think you've talked me into getting both!
-
I know, right. But now they're separating them, to confuse the issue. One of each is how it should have stayed, I agree. Keep an eye on the descriptions, they're subject to change....

Willmon, when you get a chance to pick up new clone, make sure you get the AGA-T2. The AGA-T2 has a pyrex tank, which is safer for juices like Citrus, Clove & Cinnamon. The AGA-T+ is polycarbonate tank The AGA-T2 is Pyrex type tank. I just discovered this, sorry I didn't know earlier.

The AGA-T+ is SS with polycarbonate tank. The AGA-T2 is SS with pyrex tank. (very important to use if you vape Citrus, Clove or Cinnamon type juices). Description is subject to change. When the AGA-T+ first came out, you got one of each type of tank. Now the vendors are confusing us... Just a headsup, to always read the descriptions vendor to vendor.

Cool! I appreciate that. Important info on the AGA-T+ (2). (I just discovered this, sorry). The AGA-T+ is polycarbonate tank. The AGA-T2 is pyrex tank! Be sure to pick up the AGA-T2 if you like to vape citrus, clove or cinnamon flavors. They need the pyrex type of tank. The poly tanks crack with these juices.

Wow, The news says that over 2900 flights are cancelled for the next day or two. It's going to be wicked. Stay safe Mike, and have lots of fun with your quad.

You so totally nailed that, Rixter! Nice review!!!

Welcome to VT, Mud!! You've made an excellent choice for your first kit with extras, and the vendor is fantastic! You're in good hands, Brian is stellar!! Your selections are beautiful!! IMHO, This should be the basic beginners kit for everyone. A little bit of everything. Even the old cartridges, and attys, because those are perfect for trying new flavors, getting used to atomizers, easy to refill, .... just the whole nine yards. They do tend to condensate, but you'll learn to keep a kleenex handy. You can also take the filler out of an old one, and learn to direct drip the flavors right onto the atty. Great for flavor testing, and anytime you need stronger punch of flavor. Sweet!

Rixter!! That skin is beautiful!! CaseAce!! Haha, gotta love it! I've done the same exact thing. to good wicks and coils!!

Count the "really"'s and the way he tries to hide his smiles. yep, he's opinionated alright. Oh, and now he has a rating system at the ends of his reviews... even though he could be tougher, I totally agree. He's honest, and tries to be fair, will always be a good watch in my book.

psssst, when you have time on your hands, can you come over and help Willmon with his chitty chid? thanks

The picture is difficult to go by, but I'll give it a shot: The wick itself appears to need re0xidyzing. It looks dark at the top, but not in the middle. The wick looks bent, curved, ... which probably means it's kinked. The distance from the top coil to the post, looks right on, but then the top of the wick itself flags to the outside. The flag would catch on fire. The coils appear evenly spaced. (that's good!) If you have to pull the wick over that much towards the center post, .... the wick hole on the mod itself is way too far away from the center post. You can fix this by purchasing 2 stainless steel washers (at 2.5mm size) and setting them on the post. These now become your new positive connection. Take a look at MSE's AGA-T+ thread, he had to do this with his AGA-T+. 1. Re-oxidize the ENTIRE wick, both sides and edges, every iota. Then re-roll your wick, with a straightened out paperclip inside, or a strong blunted edge needle, 15 gauge or so. Wrap your coil around the wick, with the needle still inside it. 2. Screw down the negative post, and then the positive post, in between the two washers you just added on there. 3. Remove the needle/paperclip. 4. Set your volts to 3.0 or insert a dying used up battery that needs to be charged. 5. Pulsate your coils, to heal, find the hot spots, scoot, ... 6. Once satisfied, with glows, fill the tank, wet the wick. 7. Pulsate some more, turn the volts up to 3.7 ... assure everything is fine, then put the top cap back on and you should be good to go. 8. If not running good yet, then... Dump that chid and get an AGA-T+ with some washers. (actually, do that anyway, as soon as you're able to or as soon as you let me do it for you). Hopefully MSE & CaseAce will pop in to help. They have a clear voice, easy to understand directives. Plus, it takes a village to spot a hot spot, trust me! We each eyeball differently.

Right on!!! Glad this modification is working for you. I agree, it's a "must do!!" with these. You're welcome, glad I could help!

It's just as well... that place is the modders hangout, where they sell all the 1st run mods. Even the 2nd & 5th runs sometimes have their problems... which is why a lot of them are very limited runs... and the devoted experienced users test run them and provide good feedback to the modder. Speaking of which, the IKARUS V2 will be out soon too. Even it had a few quirks that have been dealt with. Gotta love the modders who listen to their feedback and improve what/where they can!! I wish Zen would drop his eGo and work out the quirks in his series grrrrr. ROFL, you go Tams!

The improved SilverDog V2's are rolling out! Here is the thread: http://www.vaporwall.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=5369 Expect to see reviews soon, like from ... Field of Vapor... Vapor Sense... and so forth. This is exciting, and if all the 1st run quirks were fixed, this one is going to be epic. I want one eventually. It's the easiest one ever, to fill.

Scott's (igetcha69) Poldiac arrived today. We should be seeing a video review sometime after 2 weeks time. Can't wait!
-
It shouldn't be too much longer before they're up. Aug just recently posted a new picture of the latest arrivals getting ready for packing and shipping to the vendor. The ZAU (zenesis atty universal) is nice!! It does have it quirks though, naturally. Some of the quirks, being the cap.. it will not stay on, it tips sideways too easy... if Zen would just put a 2nd o-ring there, it'd be a dream. Another quirk, is that for some reason the zen attys tend to "spill", rather than leak, when laid down with the airhole side facing down. Just be sure the airhole is facing up, and try to not ever lay it down. They vape really smooth, quite beautifully, as long as the airhole/wick is facing downwards. But, it's not a take and go type of atty, unfortunately. Great one to look forward to at home though.

Phil Busardo is finally getting the hang of the Genesis attys! Here are two of his recent video's on the subject that might interest you. He's not quite there in the first video, .... until towards the end. By Jove, I think he's got it!! Congrats Phil!!

Here's a Juggernaut tutorial, review. It's popular, and definitely one worth keeping an eye on.

LOL, those prices are ridiculous. Hang in there though, they seem to go in streaks. Right now everyone is trying to sell their stuff in order to buy the new improved toys out on the market today. (Poldiac, chi-you, ikarus, juggernaut, etc). There's always the price gouger over there, but decent priced items pop up now and then. I have a Zen standard... it's nice... but it ain't no 500 bucks nice. I got mine new at 225, when they first came out. I wouldn't pay over that, unless it comes with lots of extra goodies, and has been updated with new button switch. Even then, I'd hesitate. (personally, I hate the bottom button, but others like it I suppose). Eventually there will be real Hybrid clones in the coops too. So far they're not real hybrids, so beware. When they do have them, they'll no doubt be chitty... cut corners chitty... so ... with that said... you'll save a fortune in the long run, saving up for the real deal, like the ihybrid at 310vapors or a Zen at electronicstix or... I think Faceless, the ihybrid maker, has a thread at ecf in the 310 subforum, and he announces when the next batch will be released in there. (click on his avatar, click on "his posts", and voila, easy peasy to find the info you seek).

Welcome to VaporTalk you batty people you.

The reverse Taryn Spin will work. Leaford has a video at youtube. Just tie it to a string if you don't have a lanyard, and spin the excess moisture out. Might want to do it outside...
-
Oh dear me! Thanks for the headsup on this, it will save others from experiencing the same. Hopefully you can pick up another real soon, I know how much you've enjoyed using it. Thank goodness for having stockpiles of other stuff eh! If the base can be cleaned up... I wonder... I wonder if maybe a cut off cartomizers condom, would work? Or a circle from a milk jug? Or .... but, if it doesn't, there goes your mod! Not worth experimenting probably.

My hubby quit smoking in the 70's, but he couldn't quit the hand-to-mouth addiction. He began popping food into his mouth,.. grapes, cheerio's, nuts, gummybears, .... and became a food popper addict lol. Then he decided to vape some Zero nic fruit and desert juices, to help satisfy not only his new love of food, but to satisfy his hand-to-mouth addiction. In less than 3 months, he happily retired his little Old Goat pv and has his addictions back under control. Well, had them back under control, until these last few months when the Doc had him go back to popping nuts ... and with boredom driving him nuts too, from being off work for 3 months, ... he became a food popper again. He doesn't want his Old Goat pv back... now he's eyeballing the new Marble Camo BAMs coming up. Which means, that if I can just talk him into the purple one, I'll have ME a new mod after 3 months. (he hates addictions and is a strong fighter, bless his heart).
